Is Euphoria UNREALISTIC or am I just boring? (Reading r/Euphoria posts)

This was originally going to be a YouTube video but I decided to make it audio-only instead! An idea that I briefly explored in the long form video I made in June was the concept that season 3 of Euphoria was unrelatable or unrealistic. I found a Reddit thread that explores this concept in more depth, and decided to dissect and discuss it! Here's the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/euphoria/comments/1tqzef6/everyone_calls_this_season_of_euphoria_over_the/#:~:text=We%20all%20think%20we%20have,those%20reasons%20were%20completely%20human. Adam Shankman's 2007 Hairspray Diaries Are... Interesting. (Eevee Pacini)

this was originally uploaded as a video to the Eevee's World (Eevee Pacini) YouTube channel! here is the link if you would like to see the accompanying visuals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NxIT6y_ETE&t=6041s "I told the studio and the producers and the studio execs (...) how I didn't want to play the message, just the characters. How more than anything, the comedy was essential and how I'd rather drink a crushed-glass smoothie than let anyone else choreograph the movie." - Adam Shankman, July 2007 ............. I HAVE THOUGHTS. (share yours in the comments. pls!) I (Eevee Pacini, hiiii) am deconstructing and sharing my thoughts on the 2007 BroadwayWorld.com production diaries written by the director of the film adaptation of "Hairspray" (and many other iconic films), Adam Shankman! My Edna Turnblad Video Essay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUshZvVcLNc&t=41s From Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, executive producers of the Oscar®-winning Chicago, comes a new film version of the Tony Award-winning Broadway smash, based on John Waters' original cult classic 1988 musical-comedy film. Set in Waters' beloved native Baltimore during the 1960s TV dance-show craze, Hairspray tells the story of high school "hairhopper" Tracy Turnblad as she graduates from outsider to celebrity trendsetter. With the help of co-stars John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Amanda Bynes, Michelle Pfeiffer and more, she stars on "The Corny Collins Show," wins the heart of resident hunk Link Larkin and kicks down the barriers to racial integration on local television--all without messing up her hair!
