How to Create Partnerships That Grow Your Business. Before we get into this weeks episode, did you hear about my last online workshop of the year? I'm hosting my final masterclass of the year on Nov 25th & 27th.Join me and a group of entrepreneurs like you who need help planing 2027 so you can attract more clients who pay what you're worth. 👉 Save your spot here I love a good collab. They can help you reach new audiences, build credibility, generate leads and create opportunities you couldn’t achieve on your own. But, just because a collaboration sounds exciting doesn’t mean it’s a good business decision. In this episode of the Best Business Podcast, I’m sharing how to choose the right collab partner, set clear expectations and create collaborations that move your business forward, without draining your time, energy or bank account. Plus, I’ve created a practical pre-collab checklist to help you work through the key questions before you commit. Because the goal isn’t to collaborate for the sake of it. It’s to create something that benefits both businesses and continues to deliver value long after the project ends. 👉 Download the checklist here I know you know this but for larger or higher-risk collaborations, remember that a checklist isn't a substitute for appropriate legal advice. If you're ready to stop winging it and start planning your next year with more clarity, focus and intention, I'd love you to join my two-part online masterclass on November 25 and 27. 18. How to Get More Clients: 5 Sales Strategies I’m Using

Want More Clients? 5 Sales Strategies That Work for Service Based Businesses. In this episode of the Best Business Podcast, I’m sharing five sales strategies that are working in 2026, particularly for service-based businesses. I’m a big believer that business can be easy and sales can be fun. I break down five practical sales strategies you can start using in your own business, along with the habits I’m leaving behind as I head into 2027. Before you go off adding another sales tactic to your to-do list, ask yourself a couple of question: Do I know where my best sales opportunities come from? Am I consistently creating and nurturing those opportunities? Is my offer clear enough that the right person can see themselves in it? Consistent sales rarely come from one brilliant marketing campaign, they come from a business that continually creates, nurtures and converts opportunities. You don’t need to become better at convincing people to buy. You need to become better at creating opportunities for the right people who want to buy from you. If you're ready to stop winging it and start planning your next year with more clarity and intention, I'd love you to join my two-part online masterclass on November 25 and 27. Can perimenopause affect your work, confidence and your career? Dr Juhaina Al Ruheili explains what women need to know about this stage of life. Think menopause is just hot flushes and night sweats? Think again. Perimenopause and menopause can affect far more than your periods. 15. Attention Is the New Currency: How to Get Your Brand Noticed

In a world competing for attention, how do you get your business noticed? Your marketing might be good, so why are you being ignored?  We're all scrolling endlessly (did you know we all scroll about 2km per day?) so we need to stand out which means we need to think beyond a social media strategy for our business. In this episode, I have the pleasure of chatting with creative strategist Shay Starrenburg about the attention economy. Shay is the Creative Director of Idyllic studio in New Plymouth, New Zealand and they know a thing or two about creating eye-catching campaigns, unexpected social media ads and IRL stunts which have people going WTF is this?!  This is a seriously fun masterclass in getting noticed. In this episode Rosie and Shay unpack what your business needs to capture attention in an increasingly crowded digital world. If you're posting but wondering why no-one is noticing you, this episode will help show you how to go from unnoticed to all eyes on you (without creating more content. 1. Good marketing isn't enough if nobody notices it. You can have an amazing product, service or idea but if your marketing blends in, in the feed, your audience will scroll right past it. 2. You don't need a massive budget to get attention. Some of Shay's most memorable campaigns have been low-budget. Idyllic’s phone booth campaign was built and filmed simply. It was the idea that did the heavy lifting. 3. Look outside your industry for inspiration. One of Shay's best pieces of advice? Stop copying what everyone else in your industry is doing. Look at businesses in completely different industries. Find something that works there and ask yourself ‘How could we make that work for us?’ Where to find Shay Founder and Creative Director of Idyllic, a creative agency based in New Plymouth. She and her team work across design, marketing, websites, photography and video, with a particular love for ambitious businesses that are willing to push beyond the obvious. You can find Shay and explore some of Idyllic's wonderfully bonkers campaigns at idyllic.nz. 💻 Want help building a profitable, scaleable business? Explore Rosie's coaching programs and workshops. 14. Fun Might Be Your Most Underrated Growth Strategy

How to Make Your Business More Fun What if the key to growing your business isn't doing more, but doing more of what you enjoy? I explore why there's a collective belief that successful businesses should be exhausting, instead, I believe we should design a business around the work that energises us. Because fun isn't frivolous, it might be strategic. We spend so much time talking about productivity, discipline, strategy and growth that we rarely stop to ask a much simpler question: Do I actually enjoy running my business? In the ep, I share some memories (and mistakes) from my own businesses, the difference between building a business around what you think you should be doing versus what genuinely lights you up and the concept of your 'flower bucket' - those tasks that take up your time but aren't why you started the business in the first place. What if we didn't wait until we were successful to enjoy our business. Fun doesn't need to be the reward but instead, it was our motivation. Here are my favourite takeaways from the ep. 1. Stop confusing productivity with progress. You don't need to squeeze more out of every hour or add another productivity hack to your morning routine. 2. Find your flower bucket. Every business owner has one. It's the task, responsibility or part of the job that drains you. Identify yours and ask yourself: Can I delegate it, automate it, eliminate it or do less of it? 3. Fun creates momentum When you're doing work that energises you, consistency becomes easier. That momentum is far more useful than waiting to feel motivated every day. 13. Feeling Unmotivated in Your Business? This Might Be Why

Because it stopped being fun! Before we get into Ep 13, you deserve to break free of busy-work and reclaim control of your time. Grab my free Founder Focus Toolkit and stop letting overwhelm run your day. Get more done without working late nights or burning out in the process. 🥇 Download it now and kick overwhelm to the kerb. Back to Episode 13...Sometimes procrastination and lack of motivation are signs that you've committed to 'shoulds' instead of the things you enjoy. A particular type of work, client or service maybe? Instead of adding more to your already busy days, now's the time to ask yourself: Do I still need this type of client? Do I enjoy delivering this work? Is this helping grow my business? We've all been there; we collect clients, services, meetings and commitments until and your business starts to resemble a kitchen junk drawer full of things you didn't intend to keep. In this episode, I'm yapping about the early signs of business burnout, how we accidentally create businesses around obligation (you know, those 'shoulds') and how to start designing one that is fun to run. Sometimes the biggest business breakthrough starts with taking something away. In this episode I also share a simple exercise to help you find out what's giving you energy, what's draining it and where you might have accidentally created a business that no longer fits with the life you want.
