I've had some success and I'm still not where I want to be. This is me figuring it out. You'll see the stuff I'm actually working through. I'll keep it real with what's working, what isn't, and the questions I'm still sitting with. If you're somewhere in your own middle too come join me. I'll also have random topics as well!

I Got Promoted 3 Times in 5 Years. It Still Wasn't Enough.

I just got promoted for the third time in five years at a tech company — and instead of the win I expected, I got the imposter syndrome that never quite goes away and a voice already asking "what's next?" before I even celebrated. So this one's honest. First, what actually got me promoted (it's simpler and less impressive than people make it sound). Then the imposter syndrome — why the higher I climb, the more I compare myself to people who look smarter, more credentialed, more "supposed to be here" than me. And finally the part I sit with the most: why hitting the goal never feels like enough, and what I'm trying to do about it. If you've done well on paper and still feel like it's not enough, this might resonate. You're allowed to be proud of how far you've come and still want more — I'm figuring out that balance out loud. Kalshi Is a Slot Machine Dressed Like Investing

Kalshi, sports betting, and prediction markets are being sold like investing. But if the app gives you the same rush as a slot machine, we should probably call it what it is.In this episode, I talk about why young men are being targeted, why quick money feels so tempting, and what I learned from quitting a stable tech job to chase a faster path myself. This isn’t financial advice. It’s a warning about how gambling is being dressed up as investing.Have you been targeted by Kalshi ads?
