    balancing discipline, time and rest without guilt

    I'm coming on today with no polished version of myself, just honest. Coming out of a season where discipline came easy, I'm now overwhelmed trying to balance a full-time job, school, this podcast, fitness, and showing up for the people I love. Sound familiar? In this episode, I'm unpacking why having the capacity for discipline (2 Timothy 1:7) doesn't automatically mean the barriers disappear and walking through the real, practical solution I'm building for myself: prayer as the starting point, identifying core priorities, and creating systems that actually work for this season instead of fighting against it. We also go there on rest because Jesus rested, God rested, and somewhere along the way we decided we were the exception. I'm reframing rest from something you earn to something you strategically need, and leaving you with a journal prompt to sit with this week. This one is for the overthinker who's tired of pushing without permission to pause.

    it was never about having enough

    We often overthink our ability to accomplish something based on what we perceive isn't enough, not enough experience, not enough resources, not enough worthiness. But that mindset causes delay. It keeps us in a low place when God has more for us. In this episode, I'm walking through the story of the widow woman in 2 Kings 4:1-7, who was in crisis and didn't realize the value of what she already had until she was asked a simple question: "What is in your house?" We'll also look at the five loaves and two fish, the picture of vessels and oil, and why imposter syndrome so often talks us out of taking the first step. Whatever you're overthinking right now your gift, your calling, your next move, I want you to walk away asking yourself: what if you started with what you have, and let God do the rest? What if it all works out?

    your sign to be more intentional with your life

    We're back! Season 2 kicks off with a conversation about intentionality and why the opportunities meant for you require you to show up as you, in alignment, ready to receive.  This episode, I get honest about what unintentional living looked like for me (the situationships, the money with nothing to show for it, the places I stayed just to "fit in") and what it cost me.  We dig into Haggai 1:6, look at Jesus and Esther as examples of intentional living, and I share the practical framework I'm using to actually make this season different, a personal "skill, knowledge, wildcard" curriculum, plus real game plans for health, wardrobe, social life, and finances.  If you're six months into the year wondering why things haven't been working out, this one's your sign.
