Kuriosity Saves

Sheena Keesha

God asks questions He already knows the answers to. So why does He ask? Kuriosity Saves explores divine questions God asks throughout Scripture and the ones we carry in our own hearts. God’s questions aren’t informational. They’re invitational, creating space to pause, reflect, and consider what He may be revealing through them. Blending reflective and cinematic storytelling with biblical insight, this podcast explores how holy curiosity, surrendered to Jesus Messiah—whose name means ‘Yahweh saves’—can move us beyond what we think we know about God toward truly knowing Him and experiencing a new kind of life found in relationship with Him. The title cleverly integrates the Greek word Kurios, meaning “Lord,” with a play on the famous idiom, “Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.” For seekers, believers, and the spiritually curious. Come, let’s reason together—not apart from God, but with Him. 🎙️ Listen to Kuriosity Saves on your favorite podcast platform: https://kuriositysaves.podbean.com 🎵 Listen to Higher Than Here, Scripture-inspired music from Kuriosity Saves: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/kuriositysavesmusic/higher-than-here

    S01E2: Creator Before Questioner

What comes first: the Creator or the questions? Before the first sunrise, there was a sentence. In this episode of Kuriosity Saves, we let the creation story speak for itself and trace how God used His Word(s) to bring order, beauty, relationship, and rest into the world. From the stars in the sky to the seas, and all the way to humanity being made in God’s image, Scripture shows us that creation was never meant to be empty or meaningless. It was made as a sacred place where we could live in connection with the Creator—the One who made it all and continues to hold it all together. It's difficult to understand what's broken if you've never seen it whole. So let's go back to the "very good" beginning, where wonder comes before wander. Only then can we understand not only what was lost, but also why the questions God asks carry so much weight.   🎙️ Listen to Kuriosity Saves on your favorite podcast platform: https://kuriositysaves.podbean.com Come, let’s reason together. 🎵 Listen to Higher Than Here, Scripture-inspired music from Kuriosity Saves: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/kuriositysavesmusic/higher-than-here   Scriptures Read in This Episode: Psalm 104:24; Genesis 1:1–2; Psalm 104:30; Psalm 90:2; Nehemiah 9:6; Isaiah 45:18; Job 38:4–7; Genesis 1:3–5; Job 38:12; Job 38:19–20; Psalm 33:6, 9; John 1:1–5; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Colossians 1:15–17; Genesis 1:6–8; Psalm 148:4; Job 26:8; Proverbs 30:4; Genesis 1:9–10; Job 38:8–11; Job 28:24–27; Proverbs 8:12, 27–29; Jeremiah 5:22; Genesis 1:11–13; Psalm 104:14–16; Isaiah 55:10–11; Genesis 1:14–19; Psalm 136:7–9; Jeremiah 31:35; Psalm 19:1–6; Job 38:31–33; Romans 1:19–20; Genesis 1:20–23; Psalm 148:7; Job 12:7–10; Job 39:26–27; Genesis 1:24–25; Psalm 50:10–11; Psalm 104:20–22; Job 38:39–41; Genesis 1:26–28; Psalm 8:3–8; Psalm 115:16; Acts 17:26–27; Genesis 1:29–31; Psalm 145:15–16; Genesis 2:1–3; Exodus 20:11; Hebrews 4:4; Hebrews 4:9–10; Revelation 4:11
