    2: Creation

“In the beginning, God created…” But what does that really mean for your everyday life? In this episode of Late to Church, Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit and The Rev. Sutton Lowe dig into the theology of creation— not just as a moment in the distant past, but as a truth with profound meaning for how we live, love, age, and die. From Genesis to John, they trace how God's act of creating, inhabiting, and redeeming the material world reshapes how we think about our bodies, the earth, and our neighbors. They talk cookies, resurrection, funerals, and even heresies—all in service of one deeply hopeful idea: that God not only made the world, but called it good and still walks with us in it.
