    The Honest Reel - Intro

    Welcome to show! Hello my name is Josh and of course I host a podcast, everybody does but let me tell you a little bit about this one. I'm hoping to make it different from some of the other ones out there. We are called “The Honest Reel” and one of our main goals is to give only honest and real opinions about movies, pop culture and television shows. However we do not want to just tell you our opinions, there are many shows like that. What we would like to do is to create a community where everyone can all chime in, go back and forth and present similar and opposing opinions but yes of course we're going to tell you what we think also. We don’t sugarcoat it. If we don't like something or understand why a choice was made we’ll say it. We talk the way you talk to your friends after watching a movie. Our mood could affect our review, we may call actors but the name of their most famous role (sorry Keanu Neo), something like a haircut or wardrobe or CGI could ruin the whole experience but be honest, you think like that too? I am the host but we have a lot of regulars that come by. We have Ryan who is basically a movie encyclopedia and I think has watched every movie ever created. We have Matt who is kind of a wild card because you never know how he will react, he could be the only one that doesn't like a movie that everybody likes or vice versa. And we have John who always comes at these movies from an unexpected angle and we're excited to see what he thinks even playing a guessing game on his ratings. And we have some great moderators that come and go. But here is our goal... It is to engage with the audience and eventually have a call-in show, where you can prove us wrong, or agree with us or just say your opinion out loud. In addition to just the audio podcast which we hope you listen to, we are going to start posting video clips and segments but let's just say they are not going to be static shots of people behind microphones, they will be very animated. We know we're just regular people, we don't have a built-in fan base but we are trying to make one. So every time you watch a movie look for to join us and tell us your honest opinions but beware we give no spoilers, just the truth… and some spoilers here at the “Honest Reel” presented by The Entertainment Jungle”
