Episode 5 | The Man, The Griff, The Legend | Keep Pointing Up

On this episode of Keep Pointing Up, hosts Matt Corley and KPU Founder Kerry Simon sit down with Derek “Griff” Griffon for a conversation centered on God, faith, leadership, brotherhood, and what it looks like to actually live out what you believe. Derek serves as the Leadership Development Director and Teaching Pastor at The Bayou Church, where he helps develop leaders and point people toward greater spiritual maturity. He’s also the voice behind The Daily Rebel Devotional, where he challenges believers to get into Scripture, grow deeper in their faith, and live differently because of what Christ has done for them. This conversation gets back to what Keep Pointing Up is all about: men being willing to have real conversations, encourage one another, grow in their relationship with God, and recognize that following Jesus isn’t something we were meant to do alone. It’s easy to talk about faith. It’s another thing to let that faith shape the way we lead, the way we treat people, the way we handle adversity, and the decisions we make when nobody is watching. Whether you’re already strong in your faith, trying to find your way back, or simply looking for a group of men willing to walk beside you, we hope this conversation encourages you to keep moving forward. Episode 4 | Brotherhood In The Neighborhood | Keep Pointing Up

On this episode of Keep Pointing Up, KPU Founder Kerry Simon sits down with Greg Palmer, Director of Strategic Development for Keep Pointing Up, for a conversation about faith, leadership, vision, and what God is doing through the continued growth of the KPU ministry. Greg brings decades of business and leadership experience to Keep Pointing Up, including his role as CEO of Golfballs.com. At KPU, he helps provide the vision, structure, partnerships, and long-term strategy needed to grow the ministry while staying focused on its purpose: helping men find brotherhood, spiritual direction, and a deeper relationship with God. Kerry and Greg talk about what it means to build something bigger than yourself, the importance of surrounding a mission with the right people, and why growth can never come at the expense of the reason the mission began in the first place. For KPU, that reason remains simple: Point men toward Jesus Christ. This conversation is about more than business strategy. It’s about stewardship—taking the opportunities, relationships, experience, and resources God gives us and using them to serve others. Whether it happens in a boardroom, around a campfire, at a KPU Men’s Night, or in a conversation between two men who need somebody to walk alongside them, the mission remains the same. Episode 3 | That's A Great Question | Keep Pointing Up

On this episode of Keep Pointing Up, host Matt Corley sits down with Colby Patout and Ethan Aguillard, who works with Door and Window Pros, for a conversation about faith, brotherhood, purpose, and what God can do when we stop trying to walk through life alone. They talk about the importance of getting around other men who are willing to be real, being vulnerable enough to admit when you don’t have everything figured out, and recognizing the people God places in our lives for a reason. At the heart of Keep Pointing Up is a simple mission: meet men where they are and point them toward Jesus Christ. No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or what season you’re walking through, your story isn’t finished. God is still working. Sometimes one conversation, one relationship, or one decision to show up can completely change the direction of your life.
