October 2026: 143 Endorsements, the Legislative Summit, and the Upcoming Elections

Welcome to the audio edition of the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance’s October newsletter! With Election Day almost here, we’re breaking down the last-minute push, the road to the Legislative Summit, and the ways you can shape what happens in Concord next session. If you want to keep New Hampshire the “Live Free or Die” state, this is your quick on-the-go guide to the front lines of the liberty movement. Here is what we cover in this edition: The Road to the Legislative Summit: Members have been pitching bill ideas Shark Tank–style at our weekly Power Hour, and the strongest proposals go before liberty-aligned legislators at the Legislative Summit on Monday, November 9th. Bills can only be filed during a short window (November 4th–18th), so now is the time to submit yours. Admission is free for legislators, $5 for NHLA members, and $35 for non-members. 143 Endorsements and NHLA’s Independence: NHLA has endorsed 143 candidates for the November 3rd general election, 139 for the House and four for the Senate, across all ten counties. After a Democratic Party operative spread misleading claims about our endorsements, we’re making it clear: 23 years in, NHLA calls its own shots. Our grades and endorsements are about liberty, not party politics. Wanted: A New Research Director: Nominations are open for one of NHLA’s most important roles, covering bill review oversight, documenting NHLA positions, developing the Liberty Ratings, and designing candidate surveys. Know a dedicated champion for liberty? Nominations close October 31st. New Digital Tools: Our refreshed website, the new Liberty Ratings Search (search legislators by name and filter by party or grade), the Liberty Ratings API for developers and researchers, and this very podcast. Community and Staying Connected: Power Hour every Friday at noon in Manchester, NHLA Alerts, our members-only Facebook group, and a thank-you to our Torchbearers. Merch of the Month: It’s hoodie season! Stay warm, show your NHLA spirit, and support the work.
