The Through Line

Samantha Schreiber

Most women were never taught how our own bodies actually work. So we outsource that knowledge to whoever is loudest. The Through Line is a long form interview podcast for women who are done outsourcing. This isn’t just about the body. Each episode is a real conversation with a guest who has earned the right to speak on their subject, through years of study, practice, or lived experience. Together we cover the full terrain of wellbeing: the mechanics and mystery of the body, our emotions, aesthetics, fertility and hormones, western medicine and alternative modalities, what it means to get to know yourself while still becoming, the exploration of spirituality and femininity, movement, self-limiting beliefs, and the quiet architecture of a sovereign life. Underneath every conversation lies the same foundation: the construction of that internal compass that guides someone’s choices from deep resonance. Hosted by Samantha Schreiber, a former lawyer turned commercial real estate professional and fitness instructor who spent years questioning her habits, her ideals, and where she was putting her energy, until she was forced to seek out her own answers. New episodes weekly.

    9. Michelle Galoob on Intuition, Surrender and Learning to Trust the Voice Inside You

Michelle Galoob is an intuitive guide, but she didn’t come to that title easily. For most of her life, she thought her intuitive gifts were simply her very own thoughts. It took a rock bottom moment, a string of synchronicities and a brave leap to make her realize she was meant to fully step into her role as an intuitive guide.  In this episode, Michelle and I talk about what intuition actually is: not a mystical gift reserved for a chosen few but a language everyone already speaks. We get into how she finally learned to trust the downloads she was receiving instead of second-guessing them into silence, why surrender isn’t the same as giving up, and why so many of us stay stuck at the train station waiting for the “right” train instead of just getting on one. Michelle shares what it means to write a personal mission statement instead of chasing a personal brand, how she’s teaching her own kids to trust their inner voices before looking outward, and why every hard, disorienting season of her life turned out to be preparation instead of punishment. This conversation is not about predicting the future. It’s about learning to hear what you already know, and having the courage to move on those knowings imperfectly and often before you feel ready. 8. Nicole Lotterman on Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and Learning to Go Where the Peace Is

At any given time, our bodies and our gut instincts are communicating to us through sensations and subtle signals. Most of us, however, have never been taught how to listen. This episode is about what it takes to learn that skill, to get quiet enough with ourselves to willingly participate in that self-conversation. Acupuncture is a modality that reinforces the quiet stillness and that skill-building.  Nicole Lotterman is an acupuncture physician and Chinese medicine practitioner. She is also MY acupuncturist. Her path started with years of being dismissed by Western medicine, being offered suppression instead of understanding, until something in her insisted there was another way. What she found wasn’t just a new treatment. It was an entirely different relationship with her own body, one built on paying attention instead of waiting for a crisis to force the issue. In this episode, we get into what acupuncture and Chinese medicine actually offer women beyond pain relief: a framework for reading the body’s patterns before they become emergencies, a practice that forces you to sit still enough to hear what you’ve been avoiding, and a philosophy built on getting the basics right first. Nicole talks about why she believes proactive care and noticing what your body is telling you before it’s screaming are some of the most powerful things a woman can do for her own health. This episode isn’t only about acupuncture. It’s about trust, the kind you build with yourself, one quiet moment at a time, until you finally know how to hear what has been resonating within all along. 7. Dr. Leah Roberts on the Truth About Fertility, Egg Freezing, and Why Knowledge is Power

Dr. Leah Roberts is a reproductive endocrinologist and the medical director at Boca Fertility. She has also lived within the exact uncertainty she helps women walk through in her role as a fertility doctor: a difficult pregnancy with her son, a diagnosis that made carrying again unsafe and navigation of the path through IVF to have her daughter.  In this episode, we get into what facing fertility challenges really means, why your tracking menstrual cycle is a vital sign most of us were never taught to take note of, and why AMH (the number everyone's chasing) is more nuanced than the internet makes it seem. Dr. Roberts breaks down the difference between IUI and IVF, why egg and sperm freezing timelines matter more than people realize, and why waiting for a fertility appointment to feel "necessary enough" often costs people time they didn't need to lose.  We also talk about what it's like to sit on both sides of the exam table: the loss of control she felt as a patient and why she believes the answer for women is to advocate for themselves.  This episode is about fertility and proactivity, why facing the hard questions early is so much easier than facing them in crisis and why learning to understand your own body is vital to a women's health.
