The Final Third | North Texas Owns USF, Tulane Goes Nuclear & Baylor-Kansas Collide

Two-thirds of Season 3 are in the books. Now we find out who can finish. On this episode of Champions Corner Live, the crew closes the market on Weeks 7–9, checks the Heisman race, runs through the biggest headlines in the league, breaks every contender’s season into thirds, and looks ahead to a final stretch loaded with conference and CFP implications. And once again, the biggest headline belongs to the defending champion. 🏆 NORTH TEXAS DOES IT AGAIN. Tayson Hoffman turned the highly anticipated USF revenge game into a 42–14 beatdown, giving North Texas consecutive regular-season wins over Glen Crawford by a combined 67–21. After opening Season 3 at 0–2, the defending champs have ripped off seven straight wins and remain No. 1 in the Champions Corner Power Rankings. 🌲 STANFORD STILL HASN’T BLINKED. Genghis Khan sits 8–0 and No. 1 nationally, with wins over Clemson, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Wake Forest highlighting a résumé nobody in the league has been able to crack. The question is shifting from whether Stanford is elite to whether anybody can stop a perfect season. 🌊 TULANE HAS GONE FROM QUIET MONSTER TO COMPLETE LUNACY. Cedric Highsmith is 8–0, ranked No. 3 nationally, and leading one of the most statistically dominant teams in Champions Corner. The Green Wave have scored more than 400 points — including an 81-point explosion against UTSA — and now send the Heisman frontrunner into a closing gauntlet against Virginia Tech, North Texas and Stanford. 🐻 BAYLOR HAS COMPLETELY FLIPPED ITS SEASON. An 0–3 disaster has turned into a five-game winning streak. Chief Sendog is now 5–0 in Big 12 play, nationally ranked again and back in the conference championship conversation. Was the first third of the season the fluke — or is the five-game heater the fake rally? 🌾 KANSAS CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD. After falling to 2–3 and opening conference play 0–2, Coach J.O. has won four straight, capped by a signature upset of No. 5 BYU. Kansas is nationally ranked again, still alive for an at-large CFP path — and now heads directly into a massive showdown with Baylor. 🔥 SOUTH CAROLINA FINALLY TOOK A PUNCH. Damagucci went from 6–0 to 6–2 after losses to Oklahoma and LSU, then responded by walking into Tuscaloosa and beating Alabama while outgaining the Tide 414–273. The perfect season is gone. The possibility of a 10–2 SEC résumé is not. 🦡 WISCONSIN ANSWERED THE OHIO STATE QUESTION. Yamaha Beans beat the Buckeyes 42–28, followed it with another win over Michigan, and now rides a five-game winning streak while sitting 5–0 in Big Ten play. Another playoff run is very much alive. 🏅 THE HEISMAN RACE HAS A GREEN WAVE AT THE TOP. Tulane’s star receiver takes over the No. 1 spot after an absurd 18-catch, 326-yard, seven-touchdown performance, while Oklahoma, North Texas and Kansas all remain represented in the race. 📉 IOWA STATE KEEPS BEING GOOD ENOUGH TO LOSE. Father Shabraham is 0–3 against users, but those three losses have come by only 16 combined points. The Cyclones continue to move the ball and play competitive football — they just can’t seem to land the finishing blow. 📊 SEASON IN THIRDS. Who were these teams to start the year? Who did they become in the middle? And who will they be when everything is on the line? The crew projects the final four games for North Texas, South Carolina, Stanford, Tulane, Wisconsin, USF and the rest of the postseason contenders. Plus: Coach’s Wall Street, the Streak Exchange, CFP projections, Big 12 chaos, the American Conference chess match, and fresh user-game betting lines for Baylor–Kansas, Tulane–Virginia Tech, North Texas–Tulane, Kansas–Iowa State and Stanford–Tulane. And defending national champion Tayson Hoffman joins the show to talk North Texas, last season’s title run and the pressure of trying to do it again. The first two-thirds built the résumés. The final third decides who matters. Welcome back to Champions Corner Live — Season 3, Episode 5.

    Who’s Really No. 1? | South Carolina, Stanford, Tulane & a Wide-Open Big 12

Season 3 has officially reached the point where there is no obvious king of Champions Corner. On this episode of Champions Corner Live, the crew recaps the latest action, debates the league’s true No. 1 program, checks in on the Heisman race, and breaks down a growing list of storylines as conference play begins to reshape the season. At the center of the conversation are four legitimate contenders. 🔥 South Carolina is 6–0 and 3–0 against users. Damagucci’s move from NDSU to the SEC continues to look transformational, with wins over some of the strongest coaches in Champions Corner and arguably the best résumé in the league. 🌲 Stanford sits No. 1 nationally. Genghis Khan continues to quietly stack wins and build one of the strongest teams in the dynasty — setting up the possibility of a Stanford–South Carolina national championship collision. 🏆 North Texas still owns the crown. Tayson Hoffman remains No. 1 in the Champions Corner Power Rankings and is the defending national champion, but two losses have opened the door for a real debate over how much last season should matter when judging Season 3. 🌊 Tulane may be the league’s biggest mystery. Cedric Highsmith is 14–2 as a Champions Corner coach and has built one of the best teams on paper, but the lack of user games has kept Tulane outside the top-tier conversation. That is about to change, with East Carolina, Virginia Tech, North Texas and Stanford waiting down the stretch. The crew also dives into: 🏅 The Heisman Race — Kansas, Tulane and South Carolina all have players sitting near the top of the national award conversation. 💀 Rutgers officially owns Baylor receipts. General Grievous is now 2–0 against Chief Sendog, turning what once looked like an upset into a legitimate coaching rivalry — and possibly a mental block Baylor still has to solve. 🦶 The Ames Kicking Curse continues. Iowa State once again finds itself on the wrong side of a close game after missed field-goal opportunities, raising the question of how different the Cyclones’ season — and Coach Shabram’s legacy — would look with just a couple of made kicks. 🤠 The Big 12 is wide open. Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa State and Kansas are all still alive, but conference losses and brutal remaining schedules mean every matchup now carries championship implications. 📉 Kansas is entering desperation territory. Coach J.O. still has a path, but a loaded closing stretch means the margin for error is nearly gone. 🐕 The Moondog Effect hits rock bottom. UNC sits 0–6 and has fallen to the bottom of the Champions Corner coach rankings, with an increasingly brutal schedule still ahead. 🏴‍☠️ Bobby Downs may have found a pulse at East Carolina. Back-to-back wins briefly cooled the DEFCON 1 conversation, but ECU still has one of the most difficult schedules in the league — including upcoming games against Tulane and North Texas. And underneath all of it is the question that defines this episode: If South Carolina, Stanford, North Texas and Tulane met on a neutral field tomorrow… who are you taking? The old hierarchy is gone. Season 3 belongs to whoever can prove they deserve the top spot. Welcome back to Champions Corner Live.

South Carolina Takes Over | Stanford Surges, Baylor Wobbles & Stocks Are Moving

Season 3 is starting to separate the real contenders from the early-season noise. On this episode of Champions Corner Live, the crew breaks down the biggest results from the opening stretch, tracks the hottest and coldest programs in the league, and looks ahead to the next slate of games as conference play begins to take over. The biggest early statement belongs to South Carolina. Damagucci is off to a 4–0 start, including a 19–7 win over USF and a 31–14 rivalry win over Texas A&M. After never beating Glen Crawford before this season, South Carolina has suddenly become one of the league’s early standards — and one of only three remaining unbeaten Champions Corner programs. But South Carolina isn’t alone. 🌲 Stanford is rolling. Genghis Khan opened with a dominant 45–14 win over Wisconsin, followed by wins at Florida State and NC State, pushing Stanford all the way to No. 2 nationally. 🌊 Tulane is making noise. A road win over Oklahoma helped establish Cedric Highsmith as one of the league’s fastest risers, while Tulane’s offense has exploded for 136 points through three games. 📉 Baylor is already under pressure. An 0–2 start has turned the upcoming Rutgers matchup into an early-season must-win, with the desk split on whether Chief Sendog’s stock should be sold or held. 🐂 USF takes an early hit. Glen Crawford’s loss to South Carolina dropped USF in the league rankings, but the crew debates whether this is a real warning sign or just a temporary setback. 💀 East Carolina is in trouble. Bobby Downs has opened 0–4 while scoring only 20 total points, raising serious questions about whether another coaching change could be coming. 🏆 The defending champion is wobbling. North Texas sits at 1–2 after losses to Clemson and Oregon, forcing the crew to ask whether Tayson Hoffman is simply surviving a brutal opening stretch or genuinely underperforming after last season’s title run. 📈 Coach’s Wall Street returns. South Carolina is the biggest bull run on the board, while East Carolina and Western Kentucky land firmly in bear-market territory. Wisconsin and Baylor create the biggest disagreements at the desk. 💰 User-game betting lines are back. Baylor–Rutgers, Cincinnati–Iowa State, and Kent State–Kansas all get lines as the crew previews the next wave of head-to-head matchups. And looming over all of it is the same question: Which of these early-season results are real — and which ones are about to age badly? Season 3 has already delivered upsets, undefeated runs, stock crashes, and playoff pressure. Now the conference races begin. Welcome back to Champions Corner Live.

Welcome to Season 3 | USF Rolls, South Carolina Escapes & Everybody Has Something to Prove

Season 3 is officially underway — and Champions Corner already looks completely different. On this episode of Champions Corner Live, the crew breaks down the opening slate, resets expectations across the league, and takes stock of a new season shaped by coaching moves, transfer-portal additions, tougher schedules, and nine ranked user programs. The biggest statement came from USF, where Glen Crawford opened the season with a convincing 38–15 win over Kansas. The final score was decisive, but the numbers tell a more complicated story: Kansas moved the ball, USF jumped out to a massive early lead, and the Jayhawks spent the rest of the game trying to dig out of a 28–0 hole. Meanwhile, the Damagucci era at South Carolina started with immediate chaos. The Gamecocks survived Iowa State 37–31 in double overtime after the Cyclones missed an opportunity to win the game in regulation. It was only Game 1 of a brutal SEC schedule, but South Carolina already has its first major test behind it. Elsewhere around Champions Corner: 🏆 North Texas begins its title defense after Tayson Hoffman completed one of the greatest runs in league history last season. 🔥 Wisconsin enters Season 3 as a legitimate powerhouse, no longer an underdog or surprise story. 🌲 Stanford returns as an established contender, with expectations now matching the program’s defensive identity and Season 2 résumé. 🐻 Baylor, Kansas, and Iowa State reload for another Big 12 fight after all three programs made major jumps last season. 👀 UNC nearly shocks Boise State, as new coach Moondog pushes one of last season’s playoff-level programs to the brink in a 22–21 loss. ⭐ The transfer portal changes the landscape, headlined by defending champion North Texas landing former Kansas quarterback Landon Duckworth, one of the biggest offseason additions in the league. 📊 Floor and ceiling projections are back as the desk goes program by program and lays out realistic expectations for every Champions Corner team. 📈 Nine user programs open the season ranked, including Wisconsin, Stanford, USF, North Texas, Baylor, and more — setting up one of the deepest seasons the league has seen yet. And underneath all of it is the question that will define Season 3: Was Season 2 the beginning of a new order — or are the old powers about to take control again? New teams. New coaches. New expectations. Welcome to Season 3 of Champions Corner Live.

The Greatest Run Yet? | North Texas, Power Rankings & Season 3 Chaos

Season 2 is almost in the books — and somehow, North Texas is the last Champions Corner team standing. On this episode of Champions Corner Live, the crew looks back at the biggest storylines from Season 2, breaks down the postseason run that has carried Tayson Hoffman and North Texas all the way to the National Championship, and starts turning the page toward what could be a wild Season 3. North Texas entered the season as anything but the obvious title favorite. After a 2–2 start, Hoffman caught fire, beat USF during the regular season, survived the playoff gauntlet, knocked off Wisconsin, BYU and Washington, and now sits just one win away from the first Champions Corner national championship of the dynasty. The crew breaks down how North Texas got here, what changed during the season, and whether this has already become the greatest single-season run in Champions Corner history. Then the conversation expands across the entire league: 🏆 Season 2 Winners & Losers — Which programs had the strongest seasons, and which coaches left the most on the table? 📊 Final Season Statistics — The desk dives into offense, defense, point differential, turnover margin and the numbers that defined Season 2. 👑 A New No. 1 in the Power Rankings — North Texas’ playoff run has pushed Hoffman to the top of the Champions Corner power-rating system. 🔥 The Postseason Changes Everything — The crew debates how much playoff wins, ranked wins and championship appearances should matter when defining a coach’s legacy. 🔄 The Coaching Carousel Is Moving — Bobby Downs is out at Cincinnati and headed to East Carolina, Big Mac leaves Syracuse for Cincinnati, Damagucci takes his résumé to South Carolina, and several other coaches enter Season 3 on completely different sidelines. 📅 Fixing User Scheduling — The league begins building a new system designed to create tougher, fairer and more balanced user schedules across conferences. 👀 Season 3 Matchups We Need to See — Wisconsin–USF. North Texas–USF III. Baylor–Kansas. East Carolina–Cincinnati. Stanford–Tulane. South Carolina against the league’s elite. The crew goes program by program and builds its dream user slate. And through all of it, one question hangs over the league: Is North Texas about to finish the greatest season Champions Corner has ever seen? Season 2 gave us new contenders, new rivalries, a reshuffled coaching landscape and the deepest postseason run in league history. Now there’s only one game left. Welcome to Champions Corner Live.

THE KING BLEEDS | North Texas Stuns USF & the CFP Race Explodes

The playoff push has officially arrived in Champions Corner — and Season 2 just got turned upside down. On this episode of Champions Corner Live, the crew is joined by special guest Isaiah Shabram as the league enters the final stretch with a Champions Corner-record nine ranked user programs, tightening conference championship races, and more legitimate College Football Playoff paths than ever before. The biggest headline starts in the American. North Texas finally did what nobody else had been able to do: hand Glen Crawford and USF a user loss. The upset doesn't just end Crawford's run against league opponents — it creates major conference and CFP implications, with a potential rematch looming in the American Championship. Meanwhile, the rest of the league is getting crowded. 🔥 Kansas is surging after its huge win over Iowa State, using that victory as the launching point for a late-season winning streak and a legitimate Big 12 championship push. 🏆 The CFP race is loaded as the crew breaks down the projected bracket, potential user matchups, automatic bids, and which Champions Corner coaches still have a realistic postseason path. 📈 Nine users are ranked, ranging from the top five deep into the Top 25, putting Season 2 on pace to become the most successful Champions Corner season yet. 🐂 Can USF recover? Glen Crawford is still positioned for an 11–1 finish, but suddenly the undefeated aura is gone — and North Texas may get another shot when the stakes are even higher. 🦡 Wisconsin remains a contender, while Stanford continues to control games defensively and position itself for an ACC Championship run. 🏃 The Heisman race continues between Iowa State's Joe Jackson and NDSU workhorse DJ Scott, with Damagucci making no secret of how badly he wants to keep Scott on top. 📉 NDSU takes a major CFP hit after falling to Wyoming, forcing Damagucci to admit his playoff hopes may be finished despite another 10-win regular season. 💼 Job Security & Coaching Carousel — Which successful coaches deserve bigger offers? Who could be fired? And where could some of Champions Corner's top coaches be headed next season? 🏟️ Conference Championship Predictions — The desk makes its picks across the Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, American, Mountain West and beyond. And one of the biggest league-wide developments may be happening quietly in the Big 12: Kansas, Baylor and Iowa State all finished 5–7 last season. Now all three sit at 8–3 and remain in the hunt. Season 2 started with projections. Now the résumés are real, the championship paths are visible, and every remaining game matters. Welcome to the playoff push. This is Champions Corner Live — Season 2, Episode 4.
