From the Heart of a Renegade

Dr. V & Ocean VanOhm

Real, raw conversations from the Soul of a Healer and the Heart of a Renegade. This podcast is for the ones who never quite fit the mould. The entrepreneurs, creatives, healers, coaches, black sheep, trail blazers, and generational pattern changers who reject the notion of building a life that looks good on paper but feels like someone else's. Hosted by Dr. V & Ocean VanOhm, co-creators of Subconscious Imprinting Technique (SIT), founders of ROAR Funnels, and partners in business & life, this podcast explores emotional healing, subconscious patterns, personal transformation, somatic healing, root cause healing, and the psychosomatic, generational, and spiritual roots of chronic symptoms. But this is not just a podcast about healing. It is about the messy, wild, deeply human experience of becoming more of who you actually are. … and building a business that reflects it! Expect transparent conversations about identity, relationships, intuition, money, business, practitioner growth, nervous system patterns, personal development, and what it means to build a life that feels expansive and fully your own. Some episodes will speak directly to practitioners who want to create deeper transformation for their clients and build a practice beyond the treatment room. Others will explore the emotional patterns, inherited beliefs, and subconscious stories that affect all of us. We don't follow the masses. We follow the mission. We don't seek  permission. We trust our intuition.  We don't try to fit in. We're here to lead. Dr. V & Ocean drop f-bombs. They ask the questions nobody else wants to ask. They tell the truth even when it's uncomfortable. They have built a life & their businesses the renegade way.

    Meet the Founder: Ocean VanOhm

Content note: This episode includes conversation about addiction, shame, drug dealing, arrest, family disruption, domestic violence, grief, pet loss, and personal healing. Ocean is the co-founder of House of Renegades, co-founder of SITwithit, founder of ROAR Funnels and UpROAR, and the human behind a whole lot of rogue offers, sharp edges, big heart, and “don’t seek permission, seek the mission” energy. But before the funnels, the seven-figure business, the practitioner trainings, the systems, the certifications, the retreats, and the “Hakuna matata, my funnel is converting” of it all, there was a very different chapter. Heavy equipment. Long days. Knee pain. Cigarettes. Shame. Getting kicked out of high school. Being wildly creative with nowhere healthy to put it yet. And a deep, non-negotiable need for freedom that was always there, even before Ocean had the language for it. In this episode, we talk about Ocean’s journey from heavy machinery to building multiple businesses, the pain that became purpose, the role of podcasts in expanding her worldview, and why some money is expensive money when it costs you your body, your freedom, or your truth. We also talk about Riley, God, shame, love, addiction, business, systems, the past you are afraid will catch up to you, and why your history is not something to hide from. It might actually be the exact thing that fuels the work you are here to bring into the world. Because sometimes the thing that got you in trouble is the same thing that makes you powerful. It just needs to be channeled differently. In this episode, we talk about: Ocean’s life before entrepreneurship, working 12 to 14 hour days in heavy equipmentHow podcasts started to expand Ocean’s mind and show her what else was possibleWhy she used long work days and drive time to “program her mind” through Tony Robbins, John Maxwell, and other personal development teachersThe connection between her body, knee pain, employment, and the feeling of still not fully walking her pathWhy some money is expensive money, even when the paycheque looks good on paperThe difference between financial security and actual freedomHow childhood disruption, being removed from her home, and not having choice became part of Ocean’s deep internal motivator for freedom and autonomyWhy Ocean’s external mission is to help practitioners build six-figure businesses they can run from anywhere in the worldWhy “don’t seek permission, seek the mission” is one of the core values behind ROARThis episode is for you if you have ever looked around at the “safe” path and thought, “I can’t f*****g do this forever.” It is for you if your body has been screaming at you from inside a job, a business model, a relationship, a routine, or an identity that technically works on paper but feels like a trap in your bones. It is for you if you know you are meant for more, but you are afraid your past disqualifies you. If this episode gave you a “f**k yes, I’m ready to go rogue” moment, share it with a fellow renegade. Meet the Founder: Dr. V

Content note: This episode includes conversation around pet loss, grief, death, radical honesty, and personal history. Dr. V is a lot of things: a partner, daughter, doctor, acupuncturist, educator, facilitator, co-founder of SITwithit, co-founder of House of Renegades, and partner in ROAR Funnels. In this episode, we talk about Dr. V’s personal mission, what it means to have the Soul of a Healer and the Heart of a Renegade, and how truth has become the heartbeat of her work, relationships, facilitation, practitioner training, and work. This conversation moves through the small choices that shape a life, the moments where you have to choose your values over being liked, and the kind of honesty that asks you to stop distorting yourself just to make other people comfortable. We talk about acupuncture, intuition, public visibility, radical honesty, love, grief, Riley, marriage, spiritual work, and what it means to follow the call even when the next step does not come with a clean little five-year plan. Because sometimes having the Heart of a Renegade is not about making the loudest move. Sometimes it is taking the exit off the highway because your body knows you cannot keep betraying yourself. Sometimes it is telling a client the truth because you love them enough not to lie. Sometimes it is standing in a masterclass after one of the deepest griefs of your life and realizing that what anyone thinks of you does not matter nearly as much as the mission you are here to deliver. And sometimes it is simply going where you are called next. In this episode, we talk about: How Dr. V has always been drawn to the unconventional path, from acupuncture to archery, taekwondo, and the things that did not always make sense to other peopleWhat it means to trust the channel and choose the path that feels true, even when it is not popular or easy to explainThe difference between avoiding conflict and choosing not to betray yourselfHow micro-decisions can start to lay the path toward living in truthHow Dr. V learned to bring truth into the treatment room, even when it felt uncomfortable or confrontingThe story of Riley, their Italian mastiff, and how her passing became a turning point in Dr. V’s leadership, visibility, and trust in herselfHow Riley taught Dr. V about energy, intuition, meridians, and feeling what the body is holdingHow Ocean and Dr. V first met on Plenty of Fish, with Reiki articles, big-dog hesitation, sunglasses, and radical honestyHow all of Dr. V’s work, whether in acupuncture, SIT, relationships, or weddings, comes back to helping people uncover and tell the truthThis episode is for you if you have ever felt like the life everyone else expected from you was not the life your soul was actually asking for. It is for you if you are learning how to tell the truth, not just the polished truth, but the raw one. The one underneath “I’m fine.” The one that asks you to stop performing, stop pleasing, and stop betraying yourself. It is for you if you have ever confused being loving with being silent. It is for you if you are learning the difference between avoiding conflict and choosing alignment. It is for you if you have loved an animal so deeply that their leaving changed you. And it is for you if you are in a season where the old goals have been checked off, the next thing is not totally clear yet, and all you can really say is, “I’m going to go where I’m called.” If this episode resonated, share it with a fellow renegade. The Mission & Vision Behind ROAR Funnels

We’re getting into the mission behind ROAR Funnels, UpROAR, and what it actually means to build something that gives you freedom, choice, income, impact, and your damn life back. ROAR stands for Rogue Offer, Automated Reach. Rogue because sometimes you have to go rogue from what your industry, your job, your training, or your own fear told you was possible. Offer because if you want to make money from the work you’re here to bring into the world, you need something people can actually buy. Otherwise, it stays a hobby, and eventually, it burns you out. Automated Reach because your message, your work, and your mission should not depend on you manually posting forever and hoping the algorithm feels generous that day. In this episode, we talk about how ROAR came to life, why funnels are not sleazy when they are built with integrity, and how systems can support practitioners, healers, coaches, creators, and facilitators in scaling beyond one-to-one work without abandoning their values. We also talk about the moment Ocean watched Dr. V go from being fully booked, exhausted, and trapped in the treatment room to creating online offers, building automated systems, and earning more in six weeks than many practitioners are taught to believe is possible in a year. Because here’s the thing: having a Soul of a Healer does not mean you are meant to martyr yourself for your mission. And having the Heart of a Renegade means you are allowed to build it differently. You are allowed to go rogue. You are allowed to make money. You are allowed to create the thing that lets your work reach more people while you actually live your real life. Hakuna matata. Your funnel is converting. In this episode, we talk about: Why “rogue” is about going against the industry norm, the treatment room ceiling, the job that keeps you trapped, or the version of success that never felt like yoursWhy your offer is the thing that allows your work to become sustainable instead of staying a really meaningful hobby that burns you outHow a funnel helped Dr. V find the information that changed Ocean’s life and eventually became part of the origin story of SITThe belief that if practitioners want to make more money, they either have to raise their one-to-one session rate or work more hours, and why that is not the only wayThe difference between ROAR Funnels as the DIY platform and UpROAR as the higher-touch container with creative partners in businessThe UpROAR team and how each person supports offer creation, systems, subconscious and somatic patterns, messaging, copywriting, automations, tech, AI, and designHow freedom and choice became one of Ocean’s deepest internal motivatorsWhy the mission of ROAR is to help people bring forth what is inside them before it dies inside themThis episode is for you if you know there is more inside of you than what your industry trained you to do. It is for you if you are a practitioner, healer, coach, facilitator, creative, or entrepreneur who feels trapped inside a one-to-one model, a treatment room, a job, or an offer structure that no longer fits. It is for you if you are tired of building a business that looks successful on paper but leaves you exhausted, overbooked, under-supported, and disconnected from your actual life. And it is for you if you are ready to stop waiting for permission and start building the rogue offer, automated reach, and business ecosystem that lets your roar be heard. Subscribe and leave a review for your chance to win some swag and a shoutout on the podcast. And if anything resonated, landed, or cracked something open, DM us on Instagram at @‌sitwithit.co. If you are ready to build the systems, funnels, and offers that help your work reach more people, head to http://roarfunnels.com . You can start with ROAR Funnels if you want the platform and DIY support, or apply for UpROAR if you want us as your creative partners in starting or scaling your digital business. The Mission & Vision Behind SITwithit: Part 2

In Part 1, we shared the origin story of SITwithit and Subconscious Imprinting Technique. The grief, the migraines, the “what the f**k just happened?” moment, and how this work first came through us before it became something we could teach practitioners all over the world. In Part 2, we’re getting into what happens when you actually bring a mission like this into the world. Because having the Soul of a Healer and the Heart of a Renegade sounds beautiful, and it is, but it also comes with friction. Backlash. Projection. People calling your work dangerous. People saying it is out of scope. People being deeply confronted by something they do not fully understand yet. And honestly? That’s part of the path. In this episode, we talk about the mission behind SITwithit, the backlash we experienced when this work started gaining visibility, and why we believe SIT is not here to replace therapy, but to bridge a gap that has been left wide open between the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. We also talk about what it means to create emotionally grounded practitioners who can actually hold space, not hijack a client’s moment, not make it about themselves, and not brush powerful healing work off as “woo woo” just because the world has not known how to validate it yet. This conversation is about practitioner growth, emotional healing, subconscious patterns, root cause healing, nervous system safety, and building an army of empowered healers, hope dealers, and generational pattern changers. Because the mission of SITwithit has never been about Dr. V and Ocean doing this work alone. It has always been about multiplying the impact. In this episode, we talk about: What happened when SIT started gaining visibility and practitioners began sharing client results onlineThe friction that can come when you bring something new, innovative, and disruptive into the healing spaceWhy SIT is not here to replace therapists, and why many therapists actually refer to SIT practitionersHow SIT bridges the gap between the physical, emotional, subconscious, somatic, and spiritual layers of healingThe misconception that SIT is always trying to uncover the biggest trauma, when often the root is a seemingly small moment with a powerful emotional signatureThe importance of knowing when to hold space, when to refer out, and when not to interrupt a client’s emotional processHow training one practitioner can create a ripple effect that reaches far more people than one practitioner ever could aloneThis episode is for you if you have ever felt like the work you are here to do does not fit neatly inside the lines your industry gave you. It is for you if you are a practitioner, healer, coach, facilitator, bodyworker, therapist, doctor, intuitive, or self-healer who knows there is more happening underneath the surface, but has not always had the language, structure, or permission to go there. And it is for you if you are ready to stop calling your gifts “woo woo” and start treating them like the powerful medicine they are. If this episode gave you a “f**k yes, this is the mission” moment, share it with a fellow renegade. Subscribe and leave a review for your chance to win some swag and a shoutout on the podcast. The Mission & Vision Behind SITwithit: Part 1

Content note: This episode includes real conversation about grief, suicide, chronic pain, trauma, and emotional healing. Before we can talk about the full mission and vision behind SITwithit and Subconscious Imprinting Technique, we have to talk about where it came from. And like most things born from the Soul of a Healer and the Heart of a Renegade, it did not come from a polished business plan or a clean little “we had an idea and launched it” story. It came through grief. Through chronic migraines. Through emotional data trapped in the body. Through one of the greatest tragedies of our lives becoming the doorway into a body of work that now supports practitioners around the world. In this episode, we share the origin story of SIT, what Subconscious Imprinting Technique actually is, and how we started realizing that physical symptoms are often connected to emotional tension, subconscious patterns, generational imprints, and moments in time the body never fully got to process. We also talk about Ocean losing her dad to suicide, the migraines that followed, the memory that changed everything, and the moment we realized: holy shit, this work is not just for us. It is for the people walking around with feelings they do not know how to feel. It is for the practitioners who know there is more going on underneath the surface. And it is for the ones who are willing to sit with the shame, the guilt, the grief, the truth, and the mess they healed through. In this episode, we talk about: What SIT, or Subconscious Imprinting Technique, actually isThe early relationship dynamic between Dr. V and Ocean, including learning how to express emotions in completely different waysWhy SIT started as a way to resolve physical symptoms, but revealed something much deeper about emotional healing and subconscious patternsHow Subconscious Imprinting Technique got its nameThe first SIT cohorts, the wild in-person results, and the moment we realized practitioners could actually learn this work and bring it to their own clientsWhy the mission of SITwithit is about helping people sit with the emotions, shame, guilt, grief, and feelings they have spent their lives trying to escapeThis episode is for you if you have ever felt like your body was trying to tell you something, but no one could quite get to the root of it. It is for you if you have tried all the things, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and still wondered, “Why am I like this? Why does this keep happening? Why won’t this shift?” It is for the practitioners, coaches, healers, facilitators, and self-healers who know there is more to symptoms than what shows up on the surface. It is for the ones who are curious about root cause healing, emotional healing, subconscious patterns, forgiveness, psychosomatic symptoms, and the connection between what we carry and how the body expresses it. And maybe, this episode is for you if you are holding something you have not known how to feel yet. Not fix. Not bypass. Not shove down. Just sit with. If this episode gave you a “holy shit, I needed this” moment, share it with a fellow renegade. Subscribe and leave a review for your chance to win some swag and a shoutout on the podcast. And if anything resonated, landed, or cracked something open, DM us on Instagram at @‌sitwithit.co.
