    When the Support Isn’t There: A Mum’s Fight for Her Daughter

    This week, we’re joined by Lisa Fairbairn, who shares her personal story of raising her daughter with autism and global development delay and the realities that come with navigating life, education and support as a family. Lisa opens up about the challenges parents face when the support their children need simply isn’t available or adequately funded, the constant advocacy that comes with parenting a neurodivergent child, and the emotional impact this can have on the whole family. We also talk about why awareness matters, what needs to change, and how we can better support neurodivergent children and their families.
