    3 Lessons From Today's AM Briefing Price slid back into the middle of last week's range and parked in the muddy middle. Nothing on the calendar today, and the cleanest level was 55 points away from where price was trading. Days like this reward the trader who waits and punish the one who needs action. Here is what today was actually teaching. Lesson 1: Map your trades to the Strong Levels Build every entry off the horizontal Strong Levels, then wait for price to drop into the zone. Take initial profit before the next Strong Level and let the rest ride. Lesson 2: Let price come to your level Your best level is wherever it is, sometimes 50 or 100 points away. Do not force a closer trade. If price never reaches your zone, there is no trade, and that is a full decision. Lesson 3: Take the level with the most confluence When the Dow shows strength and the Q's grab the low right into your drop zone, that long has extra reasons to work.     3 Lessons From Today's AM Briefing We closed a week where the money lived overnight and every Strong Level held. The tape kept trying to lure counter-traders into calling tops and bottoms, and the ones who chased got run over. Here is what the week was actually teaching. Lesson 1: No knife catching, ever When the market is vomiting down, stand aside. Let price stabilize at a planned level that can hold before you look for a long. You never have to be the first one long. Lesson 2: A trend day punishes the counter-trader You do not have to be first long or first short. Trade with the mapped direction. Fighting a clean one-way move is how a green week turns red on a single stubborn position. Lesson 3: Sometimes the trade is no trade at all Not wanting to be long does not mean you should be short. When there is no mapped setup and no clear signature, sitting flat protects your capital and your mindset for the days that pay.
