Office Mommy Dearest

Jaide The Writer

If CEOs have podcasts to give them advice, why don't their assistants? Assistants do all the work anyway. Your Office Mommy takes you along as she welcomes her latest bundle of joy into the Chief Executive Officer position. As her title suggests, her job is to take care of her CEO's every need. If that means spying, lying, and crying; she's there to do it. Some might think her methods are too invasive or she's too involved. But when it comes to taking care of the boss: mother knows best. If the CEO would just let her in, office mommy wouldn't have to pry the door open. [a weekly micro podcast]

And Then There Was One... Other; There Was a Total of Two

A CEO’s rule: a person for everything and everyone in theirplace. Every CEO has their rolodex of contacts. Each person tucked away into their individual helpful function. They can all share the demanding work of serving a CEO to meet their every need. Sharing the burden makes it easier on each person. It works perfectly. As long as everyone knows their place. CEO, Mr. Howard, sure can pick them. His wife never fulfilledher function and his last executive assistant, Trisha, never learned her place. Seemingly, he confused the two of them. Now his wife is out of the picture, but Trisha’s still encroaching on the current Office Mommy and refusing to get thehint that Mr. Howard doesn’t need her anymore. You’ve been blocked on his phone Trisha, what else do you need to know that man wants nothing to do you with you and your child? Ugh, adding yet another function onto the Office Mommy’s job description. Her work is never done. Listen to the story from the beginning before diving inhere. Take Note: Takes Notes

It’s a shame that even if things rarely go wrong, if anything at all does go wrong, a CEO has got to have someone to blame. Sometimes there isn’t anyone to blame. Maybe not every circumstance requires a finger pointing. Can’t we let bygones be bygones? So what if the Office Mommy made one tiny little mistake? It’snot like it’s her fault anyway! If Mr. Howard’s wife was doing her job, maybe that wouldn’t have happened. If she was really doing her job, maybe Trisha wouldn’t be pregnant and no one would be in this big old mess. If you’re looking for the episode with the Mommy Dearestreference, this is the one. If you have no idea what Mommy Dearest is, now Office Mommy Dearest can be your point of reference. So when someone makes the wire hangers reference, you can pretend to be in the know because you have listened to this extremely niche and low budget podcast. Mommy Guilt Got You Trapped

There’s no rest for the wicked. Apparently, there’s no restfor the morally ambiguous either. When Office Mommy tries to take an extended weekend, she quickly learns this simply doesn’t fit into the CEO Mr. Howard’s plans. The needs of a CEO are varied, expansive, and always. Unfortunately, unless they have a different Mommy clock in for shift, Office Mommy simply cannot take the time off. Some CEOs need less hands on time than others, getting bywith most of their day by day needs without any help. Like most adults do. Mr. Howard is exceptional in many ways. That is to say, he needs constant help on deck. His wife isn’t pulling any of her weight which means no time off forOffice Mommy. If tensions were high before this vacation, they’re not anylower after this “vacation”. No wonder Trisha developed an unhealthy obsession with Mr. Howard. Being needed twenty four hours a day can be intoxicating. Or rather it might require intoxication. Unrelated, is it pronounced Gif or Gif? Listen to the story from the beginning before diving inhere. Let Them Cry it Out

Move fast and break things is supposed to a tech company’sguide to focus on fast rather than worrying about the risk. It’s not supposed to be about literally breaking all of the technology in the office. But in the office, the CEO is King. You try telling Mr. Howard that he’s not using any of the computer, printers, telephones, or freaking coffee makers correctly. That “user error” is an expression that applies to this situation very appropriately. Well, Office Mommy sure isn’t going to tell him that and riskending up on his bad side. The best thing for her to do is to leave work for a little while and give him time to miss her. Time to realize that he is the one making the mistakes. Because no one is more stubborn than a confidently wrong CEO. Andthe last person on earth who can tell them that is their Executive Assistant. No, Office Mommy is going to have to wait this one out. Atleast she knows where she stands and isn’t pursuing anuninterested man like poor ex-assistant Trisha. Mr. Howard doesn’t want you, Trisha! Go back to the men’s prison. Because I Said So

This week is all about CEO appreciation. It’s true, some ofthe Office Mommy’s prior episodes may have you thinking that CEOs are worthless or bad at their job or just bad people. But some of them aren’t. The current “Mr. Howard” has started to put a lot of trustinto his Executive Assistant / Office Mommy. Her hard work and dedication is finally starting to pay off in some small way! If only she could capture more of his attention. But that darn wife of his won’t back off and let him do his job. So Office Mommy has to spend extra time working and approving things that used to be Mr. Howard’s responsibility. That poor man almost never seems to be working at his desk anymore thanks to his needy wife! Not to mention, his past executive assistant, Trisha, doesn’tknow when to cut her losses. Still desperately clinging to any form of contact she can have with him. Get your own boss, Trisha, Mr. Howard belongs to The Office Mommy. Created by Jaide The Writer. Co Parenting is a B**** and So is She

The Office Mommy, your Executive Assistant guide, explains how powerless CEOs really are. They’ll never admit it, but maintaining their position of power requires a lot of kissing butt. Ninety percent of their job is making sure they still have a job. They have to prove themselves to someone and toeveryone else, they couldn’t care less about pleasing. The confusing hierarchy includes a completely separatereporting structure at home. The CEO’s wife is dependent on the income of the CEO and the CEO is dependent on his wife doing literally everything else for him. Which makes him more dependent on her than she is on him. This complicates the job of the Office Mommy. Competing for his attention and needing his signature on many documents, the Office Mommy is at the mercy of the whims of the CEO’s wife. A good Executive Assistant doesn’t let this get her down! In the end, the CEO will see why he needs the OfficeMommy most of all. The Office Mommy protects the job, the income that the CEO’s wife depends on. The key is making sure the CEO understands that. Created by Jaide The Writer.
