Unfiltered with Ash | Episode 2 | God can use your struggle

Welcome to Unfiltered with Ash!In Episode 2, we’re talking about something I think so many of us need to hear: God can use your struggle. In this episode, I sit down with my dear friend Julie Zdanio as she shares part of her story and testimony. Julie has walked through some incredibly difficult seasons, but instead of allowing those struggles to define her, she allowed God to use them for healing, restoration, purpose, and ministry. Her story is a reminder that sometimes the very things the enemy meant to destroy us are the things God can use to help someone else.We talk about surrender, forgiveness, obedience, heart posture, and learning to trust God even when we don’t understand what He’s doing.God can use any of us—even in the middle of our mess—for something greater, stronger, and bigger.📖 This week, read through the passages and questions via our online workbook! Just copy and paste the link below!https://canva.link/unfiltered-study💛 This Week’s ChallengeSpend 10 minutes each day with the Scriptures. Pray before you read and ask the Holy Spirit what He wants to show you.Write down one area where God may be asking you to surrender, forgive, change, or simply trust Him.Don’t let your struggle become your identity. Let God use it.Prayer:Father, thank You that You don’t waste our struggles. Help us surrender the things we’ve been holding onto and trust You with the parts of our story that are difficult to understand.Help us release shame, bitterness, and offense. Give us a heart that is willing to say, “Here I am. Send me,” even when we don’t feel ready.Surround us with people who will speak truth, hold us accountable, and point us back to You.Use our stories. Use our struggles. Use every part of our journey for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.If this episode encouraged you, I’d love for you to:🤍 Subscribe to the channel.🤍 Like this video.🤍 Leave a comment sharing what God is teaching you.Thank you for being here. Unfiltered with Ash | Episode 1 | Saying yes, even when you don't feel ready.

Welcome to Unfiltered with Ash! In Episode 1, we're talking about what it looks like to say yes to God—even when you don't feel qualified, prepared, or ready. In this episode, I share my personal story of how God called me into podcasting despite feeling completely unqualified. If you've ever felt like fear, insecurity, or self-doubt were holding you back from your calling, this conversation is for you. God doesn't call the equipped—He equips the called. He rarely calls people who feel fully prepared. Throughout Scripture, He consistently chooses ordinary people who are willing to trust Him one step at a time. This week read through the following passages! 📖 1 Thessalonians 5:24 What has God called me to that I've been hesitant to step into? Do I truly believe He will be faithful to complete what He has started? 📖 Jeremiah 1:5–9 Am I allowing my insecurities to speak louder than God's calling over my life? 📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 Where have I been asking God to remove a weakness instead of allowing Him to use it for His glory? 📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 Is there an area of my life where I need to stop relying on my own understanding and trust God's direction? 📖 Ephesians 2:10 How might God be inviting me to walk in the good works He has already prepared for me? Review: 📖 Numbers 22:28 Write out 📖 Ephesians 6:11 and put it somewhere as your reminder!!! 💛 This Week's Challenge Spend 10 minutes each day with these Scriptures. Pray before you read, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what He wants to teach you, and write down one way you can say "yes" to God this week. Prayer: Father, thank You for calling me even when I don't feel ready. Help me trust that You are enough and that You will equip me for everything You've asked me to do. Give me courage to take the next faithful step and confidence that Your plans are always greater than my fears. In Jesus' name, Amen.
