    Nourish Me!

Nourish Me After some tech issues and life bumps, I am back with a new brand and theme for this space. The last few months have been a whirlwind- Spirit just gently nudging in a direction I never thought to go, but so dear to my heart. I've launched a plant based food business here on Hawaii Island with the theme of Nourishing Ourselves - inside and out. This new rebranded version of my podcast will include guidance, health and wellness tips for leading a fulfilling and nourishing life. I'll also showcase other amazing women and share their journeys, joys and passions. Next week's first guest - Don't miss our guest next week, Yeshe Meryemana Matthews, Mandala Priestess & Sibyl of Tsogyal Lhamo Drayang Ling, the Mt Shashta Goddess Temple. I thoroughly enjoyed my interview with Yeshe - we went down some deep rabbit holes exploring loss, grief and mourning. She also shared the story and inspiration behind the birthing of the Mt Shasta Goddess Temple, now in its 10th year of existence. She offers several two year programs, including her newest program, Bloodstone and Lime, Death Maya training and shares her excitement on her new role as a traveling priestess, hosting amazing sacred pilgrimages around the world. Her interview will be available 11/10/26 Mt Shasta Goddess Temple https://www.mtshastagoddesstemple.com https://www.caravansophia.com/ For more sacred grief work, sign up for the White Rose Healing newswletter at www.whiterosehealing.org. To Die Before You Die

In this episode, I explore something St. John of the Cross touched in his mystic poetry - that longing and loss are their own kind of dying. Every time we release something whether it be a person, a job or a chapter in our lives, we practice a small kind of 'death'. I believe those small deaths prepare us for our own death, loosening the grip of fear and allowing us to embrace life more fully. Don't miss our guest next week, Yeshe Matthews, the Mandala Priestess of the Mt Shashta Goddess Temple. Cooking as Prayer

Aloha Divine Ones, And welcome to my rainforest garden. This week on Wisdom from the Rainforest, I'm pulling back the curtain on how the food at White Rose Kitchen really comes to life. It's not all about recipes and mixing bowls, but the sacred space before it. Every dish begins with prayer. I choose each offering, each ingredient with intention. I let the recipe arrive rather than force it. I listen and feel into deeply on what wishes to comes through. I bless the space calling in the angels and Mother Mary. I bless myself ensuring that I am an empty vessel ready to prepare food of the highest vibration. Sometimes I chant along with chopping - sometimes silently offering prayers as I create. Food is both nourishment and sacred offering. If you are local or visiting Hawaiʻi Island, visit the Volcano Farmer's Market, Cooper Centre, every Sunday 6 - 10 am and look for White Rose Kitchen. I'll be there with a smile and some yummy raw and vegan treats. AND coming up... Lessons from Lala

Aloha Divine Ones, And welcome to another edition of Wisdom from the Rainforest. I'm your host and guide, Rev. Catherine Mea Ananda. On August 14, 2026, a category 1 hurricane passed very near to the Big Island, Hawaiʻi, showering the island with non stop torrential rain and wind gusts up to 60 mph. Avalanches of water and massive rocks cascaded down the mountains devasting the towns below. Human and animal lives were lost as well as homes just swept away. Join me as I share first hand account from that weekend and update you to clean up efforts today. AND coming up... Decision Overwhelm: Jill's Story

Aloha Divine Ones, Welcome to Wisdom from the Rainforest episode 7. In episode 4 I discussed Decision Overwhelm to listen.  Decision Overwhelm, decision fatigue or analysis paralysis occurs when an individual experiencing a life changing event is confronted with so many decisions that they exhaust the brain and the mind simply says, “no more.”    Thinking becomes very challenging and often the individuals will feel frozen in place and numb. This week we are honored to welcome our first guest, Jill.   Jill lost her husband in 2024 and like so many, has been faced with many challenging life situations, including decision overwhelm. In this episode she shares from her heart what it is really like to live through grief and loss each day, what she is struggling with at this moment and guidance for those who find themselves in the same situation. Mahalo nui, Jill, for sharing your wisdom! You are appreciated  Sending you peace and ease for your grief journey. Go gently. Go with love. With gratitude, Rev. Catherine Mea Ananda For more sacred grief work, sign up for the White Rose Healing newswletter at www.whiterosehealing.org. Honoring Grief

August 1 would have been my husband's 59th birthday. Typically my daughter and I bake a cake, look at photos and share stories. We honor his memory as well as our sorrow at his passing. One never can truly plan for what a landmark day will bring. Some years the day may sail past smoothly, sharing funny stories in a lighthearted way. Other years, grief knocks forcefully at our door and demands to be witnessed. Too often we try to slam the door shut and pretend there is no one there.  But grief is patient, yet persistent and will be there waiting. I guide individuals to honor what comes up in each moment.  If an unexpected grief day arises, don’t shove it away, but honor it.  Feel into your body - what can you realistically accomplish on the day?  What is grief asking of you?  Perhaps it’s not a day to socialize, but to spend in solitude with your memories. When we spend time to honor our grief journey, we find that grief is appeased for the moment, granting us space to breathe and grow. August 1, for me, was a day of solitude, a good cry and a letting go, yet again, of a life that was. Sending you peace and ease for your grief journey. Go gently. Go with love. With gratitude, Rev.
