Making Space for Everyone | Andrew "Titan" Parris

What if the dream of traveling to space wasn't just for astronauts, but for everyone? In Episode 3 of Mission Voices, we sit down with Andrew “Titan” Parris, a three-time Emmy Award-winning broadcast engineer, former NASA team member, and President of The Inspired 24, an organization dedicated to making space exploration more accessible to everyone. From watching Apollo 8 as a child to spending 13 years working with NASA, Andrew's journey has taken him behind the scenes of space shuttle landings, astronaut training, and zero-gravity flights. But his greatest mission is still ahead: making his lifelong dream of traveling to space a reality while helping others pursue their own. In this episode, we explore the power of storytelling in space exploration, the importance of community and connection, and how organizations like The Inspired 24 are opening doors for the next generation of explorers. We also look toward humanity's future on the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Andrew reminds us that space belongs to everyone, no dream is too big, and it's never too late to reach for the stars. Dreams That Take Flight | Eiman Jahangir

What happens when a lifelong dream of space finally becomes reality? In this episode of Mission Voices, host Lexie Garrett sits down with Dr. Eiman Jahangir, physician, cardiologist, and astronaut, to discuss his journey from dreaming about space as a child to ultimately experiencing it for himself. Eiman shares how he pursued two lifelong dreams—becoming a doctor and an astronaut—and continued chasing spaceflight even after making it to the final rounds of NASA astronaut selection multiple times without being selected. When commercial spaceflight opened another path, that dream finally took flight. Together, they explore what it feels like to sit on top of a rocket, the unexpected experience of seeing Earth from space, the medical challenges of sending humans to Mars, and why our desire to explore may be an inherent part of being human. The episode also coincides with the release of Eiman's new book, A Heart for Space: An Astronaut's Guide to Achieving the Impossible, continuing the story of what it means to pursue a dream that once seemed impossible.
