Endure Well

Olivia Catherine

To endure well means responding to life's difficulties in a way that honors God. It means remaining faithful, trusting Him, and allowing yourself to be transformed to reflect His character. We will all face temptation, seasons when things don't happen in our preferred timing, suffering and loss, and moments when faith feels especially challenging. But just like physical endurance requires training even when you're tired, spiritual endurance means continuing to trust and obey God even when circumstances are difficult. Both physical and spiritual endurance require consistency, discipline, and a greater purpose beyond the discomfort. The discipline and endurance we build through fitness can strengthen our ability to live a life of faithful endurance with Christ. "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." — James 1:12 "God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." — 1 Corinthians 10:13 "Let us lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross." — Hebrews 12:1–2

Identity: Who Does God Say You Are & How Is He Calling You to Live?

In a world that constantly tells us to find our identity in our accomplishments, appearance, relationships, career, and social media presence, we must remember who God says we are and allow His character to shape the way we live. In this episode, we're diving into what Scripture says about who we are in Christ and how our identity in Him should shape the way we live. We'll talk about why the enemy attacks our identity first, the emptiness of building our worth on worldly success, and the freedom that comes from rooting our identity in God's truth instead. We'll explore what it means to be: Created in God's image Chosen and deeply loved Holy and set apart Forgiven through Christ A new creation A temple of the Holy Spirit Then we'll walk through Ephesians 4 and discuss how our new identity calls us to a new way of living—putting off our old self, renewing our minds, and putting on the character of Christ through truth, forgiveness, kindness, selflessness, and endurance. If you've ever struggled with comparison, insecurity, shame, or wondering who you really are, this conversation is a reminder that your identity isn't something you have to earn—it's something God has already given you. And when you know whose you are, it changes how you live. Scripture covered: Genesis 1:27, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 Peter 2:9, Colossians 3:12, Ephesians 1:7, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 4:17–32, Ephesians 5:1–2, James 4:17, and Luke 12:48.
