    Direction '25 Explained

    In this second episode of the LongView, City of Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves and Public Information Officer Shannon Nickinson discuss how Direction ’25: Pensacola Parks Revitalization project has transformed the city’s parks and community centers after years of generational deferred maintenance. The goal of Direction ’25 is simple…maintain the things that we already have.    In January 2025, the City of Pensacola announced a $21.7 million investment in repairing and maintaining city parks and resource centers throughout the seven districts.
