Spirit Led Life with Sabrina Jo

You know those moments when you feel pulled toward something, and then immediately start talking yourself out of it? You want the change. You can feel there’s more for you. But then come all the questions. Is this intuition? Is it fear? What if I get it wrong? Welcome to Spirit Led Life. I’m Sabrina Jo, intuitive coach, author, and someone who knows what it’s like to get caught up in trying to figure it all out. This podcast is where we get curious about what happens when we stop trying to control every little thing and start building a relationship with our intuition and with God, Spirit, the Universe whatever that connection is for you. We’ll talk about recognizing your own guidance, moving through overthinking, questioning the stories you’ve been living by, and allowing yourself to want something different. And what it actually looks like to follow that guidance in your relationships, your work, your decisions, and the moments when life feels uncertain. I’ll share stories from my own life, things that come up in my coaching work, and practices you can try for yourself. We’ll go deep, we’ll probably laugh, and yes, there will be some swearing. Because you can be deeply spiritual and still have days when you’re wondering, “What the hell am I doing?” My intention is to help you come back to yourself, hear what’s there beneath all the noise, and trust yourself enough to take the next step. You don’t have to see the whole picture to begin. I’m so happy you’re here. Let’s see what opens up.

Episode 11 How I learned to recognize and let go of control while running a restaurant

Ever catch yourself saying, “I’ve got it, I’ll do it,” and then find yourself exhausted, wondering why the f**k you’re doing everything? Yeah. I had to check myself on that one. In this episode of Spirit Led Life, I’m sharing what going back into my family’s restaurant business during the pandemic taught me about control, trust, and how I actually want to show up in my work. What I thought would be a temporary return became an experience that changed the way I run my coaching business today. We closed one business, worked to keep another alive, and watched a Mexican ghost kitchen experiment grow into something we never expected. And through all of it, I got to see where I was gripping, micromanaging, and making myself responsible for every little thing. We’re talking about: Recognizing when survival mode has you trying to control everything.Trusting the people you work with, communicating what you need, and giving people room to be human.Getting honest about your strengths and where you’re taking on work that isn’t yours to do.Creating enough stillness to recognize an opportunity when life forces you to pivot.Following your intuition in business, including knowing when to take action and when to rest. For me, moving away from hustle and grind felt scary. It was the way I knew how to work. But learning to listen to my intuition and act on that guidance has left me with more energy, more satisfaction, and a deeper sense of being where I’m supposed to be. Whether you own a business or work for someone else, this is an invitation to get curious about how you’re showing up and how you’d like to feel while you’re doing it. Want some support finding that stillness? You’ll find two free guided meditations and information about working with me one-on-one in the show notes below.  And if something in this episode struck a chord, reach out. Episode 10 What ignoring your intuition cost me. what has ignoring your intuition cost you?

Ever had a gut feeling, talked yourself out of it, and later thought, “Damn it. I knew.” In this episode of Spirit Led Life with Sabrina Jo, I’m sharing a personal story from a yoga training in Maui that taught me a memorable lesson about listening to your intuition, trusting your inner guidance, and noticing the physical sensations that can accompany a gut feeling. The message was clear: “Don’t pay with a credit card.” I had cash. I felt the nudge. And then I convinced myself I could manifest my way around whatever that warning was about. Spoiler: the next day, my bank reported a fraudulent charge. That experience changed how I understood self-trust—and my habit of trying to outthink the guidance I was receiving. We’re talking about: How intuition can show up through physical sensations and unexpected inner nudges. What happens when overthinking and the need for control override your inner voice. Why a positive mindset isn’t a reason to dismiss a practical warning.Learning to pay attention to your intuitive guidance in everyday decisions. If you’ve ever second-guessed yourself or brushed off a feeling you couldn’t explain, this conversation will invite you to get curious about how your intuition speaks to you. Ready to explore your own intuition? Join me October 1st in Farmington, Michigan, for Connecting with Your Intuition, a workshop covering the foundations of recognizing and connecting with your inner guidance. Episode 9 Ask and it is given, but what are you asking for?

Ever catch yourself asking, “Why does this shit always happen to me?” What if that question deserves a little more attention? In this episode of Spirit Led Life with Sabrina Jo, we’re exploring “Ask and it is given,” manifestation, and the power of your questions and intentions. Because sometimes we’re asking for something new while rehearsing all the reasons it never works out. I’m sharing a spiritual teaching that has stayed with me since third grade and inviting you to notice what you’re asking God, Source, or the Universe for. Are your questions rooted in fear and scarcity—or making room for abundance, possibility, and trust? We’ll get into: How to recognize questions that reinforce limiting beliefs about money, relationships, and what’s possible for you.How to shift from “Why does nothing work out for me?” to questions that invite a new perspective. The connection between self-awareness, intentional living, and an abundance mindset. Why trusting divine guidance includes being open to answers that look nothing like your carefully mapped-out plan. This isn’t an invitation to blame yourself for every hard thing in your life. It’s a chance to pause, listen to your inner dialogue, and ask: Am I leaving room for the life I say I want? Ready to explore this more deeply?
