Ep. 12 Kristie Crate - A Willingness To Change

In this episode, Jen sits down with Kristie Crate nurse, entrepreneur, photographer, coach, wife, and mother for a raw conversation about the experiences and patterns that have shaped who she is today. Kristie shares how an early story of abandonment followed her into adulthood, how subconscious work helped her begin changing patterns she didn't yet understand, and what years working inside nursing, mental health, and addiction taught her about the gaps that can exist between treating symptoms and addressing what's happening beneath them. Together, Jen and Kristie explore identity, nervous system safety, chronic stress, shame, visibility, and the body-mind connection and why healing isn't about becoming someone new, but reconnecting with the person underneath the conditioning, labels, and stories we've learned to carry. Kristie also shares how photography became another expression of her work: helping women see themselves differently and creating greater safety around being seen through Already Her Coaching Experience. The conversation comes full circle as she shares a recent experience that activated an old wound and how she learned she could respond differently, honour her boundaries, and call her power back. Because taking back your power doesn't mean we've arrived or that we'll never be triggered again. Sometimes it means recognizing the old pattern when it appears and realizing we have a different choice available to us now. Ep.11 Guest Michelle Irene Stupski - Adoption Lineage and Purpose

In this episode, Jen sits down with Michelle for a deeply personal conversation about adoption, belonging, spirituality, recovery, legacy, and purpose. As an adoptee, Michelle shares how her search for identity and belonging shaped her understanding of family, lineage, and the deeper purpose woven through her life. She reflects on her belief in a “sacred plan,” while making an important distinction: we don't choose the trauma or painful circumstances that happen to us, but we can find agency in how we respond, what we learn, and what we choose to carry forward. Together, Jen and Michelle explore soul connection, surrender, angelic guidance, and family beyond biology, including biological, adoptive, and chosen relationships. At the heart of the conversation is legacy-level healing: becoming aware of the patterns we have inherited or learned, healing what is ours to heal, and intentionally creating something different for the generations that follow. Because recovery is a journey of remembering who we are, discovering purpose within our story, and choosing the legacy we want to leave. Ep 10. Part 3 Money Series - Awakening Your Power: Change Your Money Story

In this episode, the final part of our three-part Wealth & Wellness series, Jen explores the spiritual relationship between money, abundance, receiving, and our worth. What if the patterns affecting your financial life aren't only about what you know about money, but what you deeply believe about yourself? Jen explores how subconscious beliefs around scarcity, deserving, success, and worth can create what she calls a “kink in the money hose”—where we consciously desire greater abundance while unconsciously struggling to receive, hold, or feel safe with it. The conversation goes deeper into inherited and generational patterns, the connection between money and self-worth, and our capacity to receive. Jen invites us to look at money as a mirror, not as a measure of our worth, but as an opportunity to become aware of the deeper beliefs and patterns asking to be seen and disrupted. Through awareness, nervous system regulation, curiosity, and conscious practice, we can begin releasing what no longer serves us and create a new relationship with wealth, one rooted in worthiness, trust, receiving, and abundance. This episode brings the three-part series full circle: health, wealth, wellness, and worth are not separate conversations. When we see the pattern and do the root-level work, we create greater capacity to take back our power and lead our health, our wealth, and our lives with intention. You are worthy. You are wealthy. You are whole. Reflection question: What beliefs about money, worth, or receiving might be limiting your ability to feel safe with and fully welcome greater abundance into your life? Ep. 9. Part 2 Money Series - Unlocking Financial Wellbeing: The Overlooked Aspect of Preventative Health

In this episode, Jen explores one of the most overlooked parts of the health and wellness conversation: financial wellness. Financial stress doesn't stay in our bank accounts—it can show up in our bodies, disrupt our sleep, impact our relationships, affect our mental health, and influence the choices available to us. When that stress becomes chronic, it can begin touching every area of our lives, which is why financial wellness belongs in the preventative health conversation. Jen explores what happens in the body when financial uncertainty is experienced as a threat to our safety and the important difference between having a financial problem to solve and living in a chronic state of financial stress. By becoming aware of these responses and the patterns underneath them, we can begin moving from fear and reaction toward conscious choice and agency. This isn't about pretending every financial circumstance is within our control or placing blame or shame on where we are today. It's about recognizing where we do have agency, working with the information in front of us, and becoming active participants—the CEOs of our own health, wealth, and wellbeing. Because our financial health is not separate from our physical health, mental health, relationships, or nervous system. Wealth is part of our wellness. Prevention begins before crisis. And when we bring awareness to what is happening beneath the surface, we can begin making proactive, empowered choices that allow us to take back our power and lead our lives. Ep 8. 3 Part Money Matters Series: A Deep Dive into Financial Wellness and Personal Power

In this episode, the first of our three-part Wealth & Wellness series, we explore the deeper relationship between money, wellness, and worth-and the subconscious patterns that may be influencing that relationship without us even realizing it. Our money story often begins long before we earn our first dollar. What we heard, witnessed, and experienced growing up can shape beliefs about safety, scarcity, success, receiving, and what we believe we're worthy of having. Jen invites you to get curious about the beliefs and patterns driving your financial behaviours and recognize where you do have agency. Because financial wellness isn't separate from our overall wellbeing, money stress can impact our nervous system, health, relationships, choices, and sense of safety. By bringing awareness to what's happening beneath the surface, we can begin to disrupt patterns before chronic stress, burnout, dysregulation, or crisis becomes the wake-up call. This is prevention in action—taking a proactive approach to our health, wealth, and wellness. Because when we can see the pattern, we can begin to change the pattern. Wealth is part of our wellness, and our worth was never something we had to earn. Ep. 7 Reclaiming Agency: The Journey Beyond Enabling & Codependency

In this episode, Jen goes deeper into two words that get thrown around a lot but are rarely understood: enabling and codependency. She unpacks where these terms actually came from, born in addiction treatment in the 1980s, then expanded by Melanie Beattie in 1986 to show that codependency isn't only an addiction story; it's a human one. Jen makes an important distinction: saying "I'm an enabler" is shaming, but recognizing "I'm experiencing enabling behaviour" is simply naming a pattern and naming it is what makes it possible to change. She walks through what enabling actually looks like, doing something for someone that they could or should be capable of doing for themselves and how it shows up everywhere, not just with addiction: the coworker who can't say no, the partner walking on eggshells, the fixer who feels alive only when someone needs them, the high achiever who can't sit still. Jen gets personal, sharing what codependency did to her own body... heart palpitations, hair loss, unexplained rashes before she understood that love does not equal self-sacrifice. This episode is an invitation to notice these patterns in yourself without judgment, because awareness leads to agency, and agency leads you back to your power. Ep 6. Listening to the Whispers of Our Bodies With Tatianna Graham

In this episode, Jen speaks with Tatianna Graham, physiotherapist and Move with Ease coach who shares her insights on how to listen to the whispers of our bodies, disrupt these patterns, and cultivate a life of ease and vitality. This conversation is about prevention, self-leadership, and what it really means to lead your own health. So much of what we're taught about our bodies is rooted in the idea that decline is just part of getting older, something to manage, not something to change. Tatianna and Jen challenge that narrative head-on, making the case that every person has the capacity to redefine their relationship with their body, no matter their age or history. This conversation is about moving from a reactive relationship with health, waiting for something to go wrong before paying attention to a proactive one, rooted in prevention and self-awareness. Listeners are encouraged to take actionable steps toward understanding their own bodies, so they can lead lives defined by authenticity, vitality, and true health leadership, not just today, but for the long run. Ep 5. Transforming Your Life Story with Marsha Vanwynsberghe

In this episode, Jen sits down with Marsha Van Wynsberghe, NLP coach, 7-time author, and host of the podcast Own Your Choices, Own Your Life, for a real conversation about the power of telling your story and what it costs to keep it hidden. Marsha and Jen connected instantly over a bond most people hope they never need: both are mothers of children touched by addiction. Marsha opens up about the years she spent hiding it, deflecting at work, and searching for answers alone at night. Jen and Marsha dig into the subconscious beliefs running underneath it all: perfectionism, performing, people-pleasing and why real healing means going to the root, not just managing the surface. Marsha even pushes back on a popular piece of wellness wisdom, explaining why "everything happens for you" can quietly become a way of avoiding your own discomfort. It's about owning your story — all of it — because even the hard parts aren't something to hide. They're part of what makes you, you, and often the very thing that connects you to the people you're meant to reach. Ep. 4 Becoming The CEO of Your Health With Margaret Wallis Duffy

In this episode, Jen sits down with Margaret Wallis-Duffy to talk about what it really means to become the CEO of your own health. That's not just a catchy phrase; it's a call to take ownership of your well-being across every dimension: physical, mental, and emotional. Margaret shares her own story of learning to advocate for herself inside a healthcare system that doesn't always make space for the patient's voice, and together she and Jen make the case for a more collaborative approach, one where healthcare professionals and patients work together instead of in silos. This episode is a call to dismantle those silos and step into education, prevention, and empowerment as the foundation around a new narrative on health and wellness. 00:26 – Empowerment and Change: Taking Back Control of Your Life07:42 – The Power of Collaboration in Healthcare16:34 – Taking Back Your Power in Health17:26 – Margaret Elizabeth's Journey Begins22:57 – The Beginning of Advocacy and Health Care Transformation30:26 – A New Chapter in Preventative Health37:40 – Empowering Voices in Healthcare Advocacy46:20 – The Disruption Movement in Healthcare48:33 – Empowering Health through Community57:43 – Empowering Health Transformation Connect with Margaret through her website http://Wallisforwellness.com Become The Ceo Of Your Health Website http://Ceoofyourhealth.ca Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@becometheceoofyourhealth Tap the “Follow” button so you never miss a show, and if you love the show, please feel free to tag us on social media, share it with a friend, or leave a rating and review. Ep. 3 Embrace Change: Unlocking Your True Potential

In this episode, Jen gets real about where she's at right now, in the middle of her own season of change. She's holding excitement and grief at the same time, wanting stability and craving growth in the very same breath. If that sounds contradictory, that's exactly the point: this is what real change actually feels like, and it's allowed to feel messy. Change is part of being alive, and leaning into it rather than resisting it is what makes room for growth. Jen brings you into her own story: motherhood, crisis, and personal evolution as a mirror for your own, and a reminder that self-awareness is what makes recovery possible: it's how you find your power and agency again, even in the middle of chaos and uncertainty. This episode is an invitation to let your vulnerability be part of your growth, not something to fix or hide, and to know you're not moving through it alone. 00:11 – Understanding Your Patterns03:46 – Navigating Change: Embracing Ambivalence09:49 – Navigating Change and Identity13:28 – The Process of Change18:14 – Embracing Change and Vulnerability Tap the “Follow” button so you never miss a show, and if you love the show, please feel free to tag us on social media, share it with a friend, or leave a rating and review. Ep. 2 Unlocking the Subconscious: A Journey Through Your Inner Operating System

In this episode, Jen explores the subconscious mind using a computer analogy, the hardware, software, memory, and a Wi-Fi connection to something bigger than yourself to explain why the story running your life often operates beneath your awareness. Every moment you take in roughly 11 million bits of sensory information, but your conscious mind can only process about 40 bits per second. The rest runs on autopilot. Jen brings this home through her own story, reflecting on "little Jenny" and how perfectionism, performance, and people-pleasing showed up as survival strategies in a family navigating addiction. These weren't failures. They were brilliant adaptations. You'll meet five familiar archetypes: the Perfectionist, the Fixer, the Over-Explainer, the High Achiever, and the One Who Disappears and learn how naming them with compassion and curiosity is the first step toward consciously disrupting the pattern and reclaiming who you're really meant to be. 00:34 – Introduction to Personal Power and Change03:35 – Understanding the Subconscious Mind09:06 – Understanding the Subconscious Mind (continued)11:48 – Understanding and Reprogramming Inner Beliefs16:20 – Recovering Your True Self "You are not broken. Ep. 1 Disrupting Cycles: The Journey to Personal Power

In this very first episode, Jen invites you to consider..."What if the thing keeping you stuck isn't you... What if it's a pattern? The core message of Enable No More is that you are not broken and you are not trapped. You are influenced by underlying patterns, beliefs and conditioning absorbed unconsciously over time that quietly govern your health, relationships, career, and life. Your host, Jen McCutcheon, shares her own journey through trauma and recovery, showing why recognizing your role in these patterns is the first step to real change. Taking radical responsibility for yourself is what disrupts the cycle and hands your power back to you. This episode is a call to anyone ready to break free from enabling behaviours and begin real healing for themselves and their families, because recovery isn't just about addiction, it's about recovering the truest version of yourself.
