    Welcome to Narnia Fans Cast Episode #52, for September 15, 2026! This week, Evening Star begins with the latest Narnia news before exploring “Fantastic Forests,” his latest reflection on the worlds of C.S. Lewis. Following Thresholds and The OH and AH Universe, he turns to the mysterious Wood Between the Worlds from The Magician’s Nephew, exploring this quiet nexus between worlds and what it might suggest about creation, time, and our longing for worlds beyond our own. Then The Bard’s Tale begins a brand-new Narnian adventure by John Burkitt: Swept Away. Trundle is a carpenter and badger living in Cair Paravel who dreams of ships, distant islands, and adventures beyond the familiar shores of home. A mysterious message in a bottle leads him to The Dancing Dog, where he meets Sir Joseph of Brockhurst, a Knight of Narnia whose wife, Fiona, was taken into slavery following a terrible shipwreck. Joseph is determined to cross the sea, find her, and bring her home, and he believes Aslan has sent Trundle to help him. Featuring Swept Away, Chapters 1–2, an original story by John Burkitt.     Welcome to Narnia Fans Cast Episode #50. This week, guest host Mr. Beaver helps celebrate the 50th episode before Evening Star explores Thresholds, looking at one of fantasy’s most important devices: the passage from our world into another. From the looking glass and The Twilight Zone to Stargate and Somewhere in Time, the discussion considers what makes a portal believable before turning to two of C.S. Lewis’s most memorable examples: the wardrobe in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the painting in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Ripley Pond discovers that being an otter doesn’t necessarily mean knowing how to swim, but an old beaver named Sam helps him find his place in the river.
