    Financial Stewardship part 3 | 01 November 2026 | Pastor Martin Vivier

Money doesn't change you. It enhances what is already in you. Today we dove into Part 3 of "Financial Stewardship", and it started with identity. When the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he said, "If you are the Son of God" and left out one word. Beloved. He still wants you to doubt that you are loved. You are. In Luke 16, Jesus shows that what is in your hand wasnever really yours. You are a son or a daughter in thehouse, a steward of what God has entrusted to you,and it is there to advance His kingdom."He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much." Luke 16:10 This morning, people drew a line in the sand and received Jesus, and we celebrated baptisms straight after the service. What a morning! Join us again tonight at 18:00 at Curro School Hall, Umgeni Road, Kathu. We've saved a seat for you.

    Financial Stewardship part 2 | 25 October 2026 | Pastor Martin Vivier

Your job is a resource. God is your source. 🙌 Pastor Martin continued "Financial Stewardship" this morning, and it came back to one question: whose voice are you listening to? When the king of Sodom offered Abram the spoils, Abram refused, "lest you should say, 'I have made Abram rich.'" Genesis 14:23. He knew exactly where his wealth came from, and his story is the first place Scripture mentions a tithe. Israel left Egypt, but Egypt stayed in them. After generations of hearing only the slave driver's voice, they struggled to hear God's. You get Egypt out of you by spending time with God and in His Word. Sit with Him early, read, pray, then wait for Him to speak. 📖 "Behold, I will do a new thing." Isaiah 43:19 Please note that mass baptism is next Sunday, 1 November, straight after the morning service. 💧 Join us tonight at 18:00 at Curro School Hall, Umgeni Road, Kathu. Financial Stewardship | 18 October 2026 | Pastor Martin Vivier

Money is a tool in your hand, not a slave driver. 💰 This morning Pastor Martin started a new series, "Financial Stewardship", and he began where every building begins, with the foundation. Before you can build your finances, you need to know who you are. You are a spirit made in God's image, and your life works when you take His instructions and follow through. "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17 🙌 Abraham's father set out for Canaan but settled in Haran, halfway there. Don't camp in Haran. Sit with God while the house is still quiet, listen, then move. Some doors have a time lock on them, so keep trusting Him until the right time. Pastor's challenge: check your finances today, then check them again at the end of the series. 📈 Join us tonight at 18:00 at Curro School Hall, Umgeni Road, Kathu. We've saved a seat for you! 🙏 #CRCKathu #Kathu #FinancialStewardship #Stewardship #FaithAndFinances

    Keys, Crowns & Throne | 11 October 2026 | Pastor Martin Vivier

You can pray for authority all day, but you will not get it. You already have it. This morning Pastor Martin took us through “Keys, Crowns and Throne,” from Genesis to Matthew 16:19. God made us to rule and reign on earth. Adam handed the keys away, Jesus won them back, and then He placed them in the hands of His people. Psalm 8:5 says, “You have crowned him with glory and honor.” Authority is not strength, it is acting on what God has already given you. The enemy has never changed his tactic. He does not come at you with a sword, he comes at your mind with one question: “Has God indeed said?”

    Do not fear 2 | Ps Martin Vivier | 13 September 2026

Fear does not just make you afraid, it changes the picture in your mind of who you are. 🙌This morning Pastor Martin took us into Numbers 13, where twelve men walked the same land and saw the same giants. Caleb came back saying, we are well able. The other ten came back saying, we were like grasshoppers in our own sight. Same land, same promise, same God, two completely different reports. You do not need to pray for more faith. Romans 12:3 says God has dealt to each one a measure of faith, and when God measures something, He never measures small. You already have what you need for what He called you to do. ✨So when fear knocks, and it will, you answer it with the Word. Not with what your fear says. The Bible says, and that settles it.We also honoured Pastor Martin on his 65th yesterday, still walking by faith and not by sight. 🎉Join us tonight at 18:00, Curro School Hall, Umgeni Road, Kathu. We have saved a seat for you.#CRCKathu #Kathu #DoNotFear #WalkByFaith #Numbers13

Do not fear | 06 September | Pastor Martin Vivier

Fear is not your companion. It's an intruder. That's the heart of this morning's message, "Do Not Fear." We walked through the story of Job, a man who lost everything the moment he agreed with the fear in his mind, a reminder that what you fear starts as a picture you accept, not a fact you're stuck with. "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7. That's already yours. We also unpacked the word peace this morning. In the original language it means far more than calm, it's tranquility, safety, security, prosperity. Jesus already gave you that peace, John 14:27, so you're not waiting on it, you're walking in it. #CRCKathu #Kathu #DoNotFear #FaithOverFear #SundayService #ChurchFamily

Sealed, Anointed, and Sent | 30 August | Ps Martin Vivier.

Faith is believing and speaking. This week we learned that faith isn't just a definition you memorize from Hebrews 11. It's an action. It's believing God and then speaking to the mountains in your way, whatever stands between you and what He's called you to be. Don't draw back. Keep persisting. Your foundation matters more than you know. When God's foundations are solid in your life, you become someone who actually makes a difference. You are sealed by His Spirit, anointed for purpose, and sent into your time for a reason. Whether you're raising children, building something that takes years to see, or standing alone in a journey, this is your season. Speak it. Believe it. Keep walking. Join us at 18:00 tonight at Curro School Hall, Umgeni Road, Kathu. We've saved a seat for you.

Walk by faith part 2 | 23 August 2026 | Pastor Martin Vivier

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. It's impossible! This morning, Pastor Martin took us into "We Walk by Faith," Part 2. And what became clear is that faith isn't a feeling or an emotion you chase on a good Sunday. Faith is a decision. It's the way you live. You make a decision to trust God instead of your circumstances, your fears, your emotions. You decide to walk by faith. God has given you a measure of faith already. If you're born again, don't pray for more. You have it. What matters is how you use it. Every decision, every day, every direction—you're either walking by faith or you're not. You can't be faithful Monday and faithless Tuesday. It's the manner of life. It's your anchor. You don't need to see the whole path. You don't need to feel ready. Faith means trusting God's direction even when the outcome isn't clear yet. That's when His hand is upon you. That's when He can provide, protect, and lead. 🙏 We were reminded us that this whole church is the work of faith, and your faith matters in what God is doing here. Join us at the 18:00 service tonight to worship and take your place in what God is building. See you then! ✨ #CRCKathu #Kathu #WalkByFaith #FaithNotFeelings #SundayService
