    You’re not Avoidant

🎧: Press play for a soothing, sweet, and slightly dramatic reading~! I don’t care what they told you, dynamics can change. Cause what’s the alternative? Just more of the same? And that’s every day? A rinse and repeat that you honestly hate? As you’re scanning the room you can smile and nod or you can finally speak up —we hate a façade. You know what’s much worse is smiling to their face knowing they behave in ways you can’t take and you keep up the pattern and maintain the charade and you loathe behind their back, all the while, you stay. Why? Because you’re afraid of the conflict, that it might be awkward Or what will they think? Or you’re afraid to be alone Or think the ship might sink. Or its financial Or circumstance Or something else I guess…? Or maybe you just silenced the alarm inside your head. Or “this is just fine” in fact, it’s “good enough!” —as you decide to endure in the name of love. Or you’re just gonna wait until push comes to shove. Life’s not that short You can wait it out… You can fill your cup in other ways, it’s not the only spout. But courage is an option and it’s available to choose. A dynamic takes at least two people and one of them is you. And connections are supposed to churn, you’re not locked into a clause. You’re allowed to reevaluate —pause any time you want. Think about what’s right for you and feel into what is real, then find compassion for their darkness knowing they too have wounds to heal. Here’s the promising upside to speaking words out loud my young-self hasn’t heard this yet good thing I’m here to spell it out: Tell the truth of how they make you feel, it’s a righteous act of love. Like comfort where they need it most, your light surrounds them in a hug. Showing them the wave of ache and how their pain gets fed; the cycles gone unhealed, the emotions they don’t tend. That one book would have you “let them” but what good does that do? They’ll move their chaos in another direction blind to how they hurt you. That’s your disservice to humanity. It robs them of a reason to take a good hard look at what they’ve done and how much it really costs them. And you’re not gonna let that slide, because you’re not a coward. Your values point you to the pain inside and with love, you send it outward. Nothing kills resentment faster than your truth, you can walk away with dignity and leave them in the booth to express and feel what they’ve neglected —that’s not yours to do. If this person’s truly worthy of staying in your life their actions will be clear and honest —effort at first sight. Followed by consistency that you cannot mistake. Anything less than what you need and the high road’s yours to take. And if they’re not quite ready… well, that’s pretty common but there’s no more action for you. You’ve passed your test and shown them plainly the work that’s theirs to do. Just make sure you walk away, knowing what you deserve There’s simply no room in your life for your needs to go unserved. And on this walk it becomes so clear your needs are met by you—in time. As all that love flows back inside you bask in what’s divine That’s self-reverence. That’s real sovereignty. And that’s all that truly matters So, search for that resolve. Find whatever makes it clear. Learn the things you need to say and say it so they hear! It’s not an act of selfishness, it’s a gift they can’t refuse; to offer them a better path —the function forcing them to choose. Dynamics teach us who we are and what we want, and why. Suffering is not meant to be endured, so as long as we’re conscious, we try to free ourselves, and free them too —talk about a noble cause. We release that painful patterning knowing sometimes, love walks. We speak those truths they’ve never heard often as a parting gift; the mirror inviting them to face the pain with honesty they can’t miss. Sometimes they’ll choose to turn a blind eye and that’s their vow to willfully oppress, but the greatest news of all for you is that you’re now freed from their mess. Congratulations, you’re not avoidant. You’ve done the hardest thing; you lifted up that giant rug and scrubbed it squeaky-clean. That’s what we call integrity and it always loves us back. It’s what keeps us in alignment with courage. It’s the flashlight on our path. Amen!-Kylee This is a public episode. The ‘Lover Girl’ Reframe

🎧Author’s Note: as usual, my voice is part of it—press play for the ~full~ experience. The old-world story would have us believe that a Lover Girl is a willful emotional servant to those she most adores. That her endurance is romantic and that helpless devotion means tending to all ailments—even ones that don’t belong to her. That her softness and subservience keep her well-liked. Only revered when she remains passive and loyal to her surroundings; the Lover Girl of the past will show up to you, day after day after day, on an impossible mission to alchemize a self-love that only you can create. In other words, she will run herself into the ground trying to love you on your behalf. She will maintain the argument that you’re desirable even while wounded and, in doing so, she will forgo the need for reciprocity in the name of righteous, loving service. ASK ME HOW I KNOW. But gone are the days of the emotional martyr. Now, her love is poured inward first. She’s not a slave to the dominant cycles of repressed feeling, no! Instead, she shows up to her workplace, family, community, partnerships, and beyond, commanding the entirety of her own emotional spectrum, and that of others. From this heartspace, she is flooding dark systems with an authentic human light—rendering everyone susceptible to a luminous truth. By simply standing with conviction in her own beautiful skin, she invites those around her to do the same. Isn’t she lovely? Her worthiness is no longer tied to her effort of caretaking the household or kids; now she looks within to find her own unique call to creativity, and she answers it—so that her cup is not only full, but so her children can drink from the infinite overflow. She effortlessly makes time for soulful friendships and community engagement because her energy only moves through spaces that are drenched in an EQUAL exchange of light. The Lover Girl, in all her ethereal devotion, often finds herself in connection with those carrying unhealed wounds who are still operating in blind pain. She is the one who calls them to rise, without coddling, enabling, or managing their path. She wields immense discernment and can acknowledge the moment someone refuses their own reflection—moving them into the much more dangerous role of willful oppressor. Instead of rationalizing this behavior, she now holds an unrelenting vow to walk away in an act of profound self-respect. This new-age Lover Girl is not trying to fix anyone out of desperation; she is holding up a mirror because she sees the untapped divinity. She does not ask you to be whole, complete, or take-off-the-shelf “ready”. She asks you to stand before her today with a simple but honest willingness. Can we begin loving all of humanity this way? It’s a Lover Girl’s duty to hold up the mirror so right in the eyes you look and you fear her. It’s too hard to love me once I’ve asked you to change; to grow or to prosper or just not stay the same. "No one’s ever good enough", that’s what they all say. "Keep trying to fix everyone and no one will stay". "Your bar is too high, your asking for too much, reach potential in this economy? With what luck?" Is it too much to ask for someone who’ll bask in the mirror? Who can see their reflection and not run away. Who can realize their truth and still want to stay, maybe even find joy in the work that it takes to tend to their heart until it unbreaks. So they love me back, whole and true then send love to all places where love is due. My soul is exactly as pure as it seems; angelic and holy and mostly pristine. You’re seeing the good side and that’s all there is to it, I only know how to love and I’ll prove it. But what’s wrong with me is that my vision is clear I find beauty that’s invisible and no one believes, or they don’t want to try to see or be seen, so I’m stuck with less than what they could be. I watch them holding every last key, then toss them aside with unconscious ease. Suffer in a loop. Refuse to evolve. Just repeat and repeat til the light dissolves But now the Lover Girl makes a new way— to be honest, I choose myself everyday, in fact it’s a lovergirl’s duty to walk away when her needs aren’t met and by needs, I mean intrinsic love the kind that is fostered within and above. A sense of commitment to meet me there Love yourself well and that’s love we can share So I end up lonely, because no one will rise to access the healing that would cure them inside. To fight for the quality of their own precious life and more often than not, they don’t even try. And I refuse to sit idle and be pained by their wounds, and bear that cross, and wear that bruise. They’re afraid of the past, it hurts too much— to face the inner child and give them a hug. To sit with our parents and learn their aches, to hold them in compassion, and exit with grace. To revisit the memory of a love long-lost, to search for those lessons and pay what it costs. It’s too hard to chase what we want to become because growing into that means feeling what’s numb And we don’t know how and we can’t find out so we run away— seek all that is shallow and call it play. And day after day we go the same way afraid to alter our path so we stay where it’s safe to just be in repetitive motion, because as long as we’re fixed, there’s no room for the notion that something could shake us until we’re awake, then standing before us a life we can’t fake. A life that is ours and what we were made for and a love so inspired and joys we must make A life that is flooded with light you can’t see. You think it’s not there? You don’t believe me? A life we belong to is ours if we try, but first we must sit with the current lie. And look at ourselves, and tell the truth about who we are, where we come from, and what we’ve been through. I only know love, and this is the proof. What makes you unsure is how I challenge your ways —have you reach out and rattle the bars of your cage. Not only that, but I’ve shown you the way; perhaps ditch the logic, what’s your heart say? Or maybe just realize there’s something beyond the story you’ve clung to all along. Beyond the rules you made up, or the external perceptions or the school-age installment of arbitrary lessons. I know I scare you by seeing your light and by honestly thinking you’re willing to fight for what lies ahead and what lies above, and what cosmic reality awaits you in love. It’s awful, I know, to look at me daily and see your own glow, but keep spinning in circles with nothing to show. My love is a mirror you’re afraid to see —gently reflecting all you could be. Is it silly of me to assume you would try to foster the courage to look inside? I guess my wishful thinking is out of control, but I’m a lover girl, so that’s my M.O. I beg you, drop that old narrative —it’s not yours to hold. Instead soften your gaze and observe your mind, I’ll leave the mirror here for when you decide that your future is salvageable one glimpse at a time ... .. . And just hit me up when you do finally grow I’m probably unavailable …but who knows 😉 This is my interpretation of the so-called Lover Girl. Not the one who will go to the ends of the earth to try and love someone into loving themselves, or the one who over-gives to the point of depletion, or the one who passively abandons her sovereignty or autonomy at someone else’s wounded will. Our new-world-story frames a lovergirl as the one who harbors enough compassion for humanity to hold up the mirror. The one brave enough to access feeling from within systems built upon the fragile shoulders of emotionally suppressed people. The one who loves herself first and will walk away as needed. When you love someone, I mean really love them. You don’t enable harmful behavior with a free pass—you witness them in their truth and light, you convey the reality that their actions are creating, and then you find the courage and resolve to go your own way. & that’s on love.-Kylee This is a public episode. Staying is Conditional

🎧Author’s Note: My best friend (who’s physically incapable of dimming my light) told me that my voice is “as soothing as Delilah’s”—so catch my ego by pressing play. I’ve hovered over the publish button long enough. I believe so deeply in the relatability of this text. Any fears or risk of exposed vulnerabilities pale in comparison to the importance of a reader feeling seen enough to make a change. Buckle up & enjoy! First, I want to say that we all contain both masculine and feminine energy—patterns speak for themselves, but I write this intentionally with non-gendered language to help you understand that these qualities can present in any person. I’m speaking to the cyclical masculine wound of deep emotional suppression. When society teaches us to fear our internal world instead of learning about it, we grow up disconnected from our inherent nature. I’m merely an observant human, but I see this manifesting harmfully in our world today, and it’s costing us access to the sanctity of love. The cycles have shown us how to cope by controlling or managing the outside world instead of tending to the root of the inner mess we were handed. As we change that narrative, our actions will match a deeper devotion to those we care for—children, partners, friends, and ourselves. And I’m also speaking to the cyclical feminine wound of over-giving to the point of depletion. This is about the script that told us our needs are secondary, that we exist solely to appease others—also keeping us disconnected from our inherent nature. Because in the midst of all that giving, there’s no room left for us to discover what our soul actually feels, needs, or desires. The cycles have shown us how to abandon our sovereignty, costing us access to the limitless, love-soaked reality we most desire. As we change that narrative, our children will learn the truth of their value and can be freed from the fixed story that keeps them beholden to someone else’s lifeline. Something I believe to my core is that unhealed masculine energy cannot withstand the current of truly sovereign femininity. Deciding firmly within yourself that you deserve reciprocity, and the spaciousness to explore who you are without lugging another person’s wounds around—is often (but not always) a catalyst to their healing as well. I call this the Compassionate Mirror, and I will go more in-depth in future posts. Essentially, it’s a 2-part act; first telling someone the truth of how their behavior impacts you, then doing the most courageous, off-script, life-altering thing—and choosing yourself. When done from an intentional, righteous place, healing will occur and your unwritten story will ascend (I believe that). My love has no conditions, but somewhere along the way I decided that I will only stay where I am seen, heard, and properly valued. I deserve to receive at the same level that I give. I hope this can inspire someone lingering on the cusp—into a mindful act of courage. Let me know in the comments if you find it relatable. -Kylee This is a public episode. Soft Pink Haze

🎧: press play for freestyle rap (i’m kidding) I’m not perfect, I’m an artist. I write it all out, photograph life, and lean into the edit. I clean the aesthetic not just for your gaze, but because I do think it looks nicer that way. And my eyes aren’t tinted with unreasonable standards, my eyes are just wrapped up in rose-colored glasses. Why wouldn’t I curate and enhance so you see the days as romantic as days can be? The ones I reflect, even in darkness are the ones I’ve solely pulled up from the sea with compassion and diligence and a bit of a dream. If that seems inauthentic, well it may be for you but come on, sit here look at this view. Let my words flow down to the depths of your soul by way of your ears and into your eyes through tears you’ll look at me barely alive. Trust me, I’ve been there, turns out alright. This poem can soften a few of your fears —you’re not alone, you’re here. You’re on the right track moving forward and up and all this because you refuse to go back to a story that’s only “good enough” or to a place that is less than what you know you deserve to heartache or chaos or living-to-serve. The quality of life is yours to decide so you keep it in focus and you get there in stride. And just ahead—freedom, with nowhere to hide. That’s what we’re after trust me, it’s fine. So you want me to be vulnerable without any filter... I’ll tell you the truth. Just give me a minute. Pause for the drama, and build suspense, and evade reality for just a bit. The fact of it is, I’m alone in this dream with no one to share and no one who sees how far we can get when we just believe that our past can be nurtured until the pain is gone. When we deem ourselves worthy of moving on, it gets so good, like a soft pink haze —like 70 degrees for all of our days and we look all the way out to the sound of the waves. And the stars light up. And the earth moves slow. And all of this to our children we show —that the gift is inside when we finally know who we are when we’re hurt, and who we are when we glow. They’ll take that lesson, they’ll keep it in tow for as long as they live until they’re So Outgrown Xx-Kylee Thanks for reading So Outgrown! On the way to Liberation

This piece is the heartbeat of So Outgrown. And since I still don’t really know what I’m doing and I’m just allowing myself to ~be seen figuring it out~, I decided I need to give my storytelling a bit more structure. While I’m scribbling words ‘round the clock, I’ve been slow to publish because sometimes there are simply too many thoughts and musings to make sense of the next best step. And please believe Professor Google told me this state of mind is “completely normal when penning a new philosophy from scratch!” So here I am, laying out a roadmap of the path I continue to walk myself. Think of it as a Table of Contents (one that is subject to evolve over time). A philosophy born not from a textbook or any accredited coursework, but from the relentless study of my own human voyage and the absorption of truths and patterns that fill the world around me. In other words, a lifetime of empathy poured over a blank page. My last article soulfully connected us to our inner children, and I hope it helped orient you toward the vital concept of emotional safety. That visual journey spoke to the depths of my WHY and set the tone for our mission, while this outline highlights the deep dives soon to come. These five points are numbered, but their order is not fixed. As you continue, I hope you’ll drop a comment and tell me: Which of these pillars echoes loudest in your ear? What areas should we tend to first? I’m not writing this from a finish line after all, we’re blazing a living, breathing trail to this new world together. Thanks for reading So Outgrown! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. Pillar I: The Internal Best FriendThis is about knowing who you are at your core. The Goal: To engage lovingly with different versions of ourselves and pull their lessons into the now. Looking forward: I’ll be gushing about all kinds of tools I’ve used for self-discovery over the years and how I work to befriend every former version of me. Brace yourself for truth and depth mixed with lots of whimsy and self-adoration. I hope to bring messages that inspire you to shift your natural curiosity and deep thirst for knowledge inward—you deserve all the agency and power that comes from knowing yourself well. Pillar II: Mercy for the ArchitectureThis is about reframing the cycle as the entity & developing compassion without pardoning abuse. The Goal: To shift the blame to the cycle. This is where we dissolve resentment for our oppressors and release shame we’ve been carrying within ourselves. Looking forward: I will dig further into how my understanding of the cycle informs the actions I’ve taken toward self-liberation. I hope to articulate how much peace is truly available and how worthy you are of experiencing it. Pillar III: The Compassionate MirrorThis is about dissolving facades & confronting the unhealed truth The Goal: To anchor a new kind of moral obligation. One where we honor our truths and speak them into reality (even when it hurts) If I leave any legacy behind in this world, I want it to be this. It is our responsibility to tell people the truth of how their behavior impacts us. Looking forward: I will dive into the real nuance and raw truths of every time I’ve held up the mirror myself; as a child in the face of some youth group tyranny, then again when separating from my own mother at 19, with my ex-in-laws post-pandemic, even with my boss just this past year—and the list goes on. I hope these stories deepen our understanding of compassion and make a compelling case for the absolute moral bliss that’s waiting on the other side of such a brave act. Pillar IV: Balancing the BloodlineThis is about reimagining the relationship between masculine & feminine. The Goal: To release the inherited constructs around gendered framework. Looking forward: I’ll describe all the ways I see these wounds manifesting in real life, so that we know how to recognize and combat them. I’ll also shine light on the ways I continue expanding my own fixed narratives and paint a compelling picture for a reality steeped in more honest expression. Pillar V: The Lens of OpennessThis is about discarding the blueprint & proceeding with fluid curiosity instead. The Goal: To retire our innate fears and begin fostering a deeper relationship with the unknown. Looking forward: I will romanticize the unfolding to the best of my ability. Reminding you and me both that different doesn’t mean scary, and that there’s hope still to come. Holding firmly to our newfound sense of self makes it much harder for the external systems to suppress us, and if you don’t believe me yet, I’ll try and craft a stronger case. And while the rest is still unwritten, the destination is this:My most ethereal vision lives ahead of this work; a world full of adults who have reoriented to a state of childlike wonder, playfulness, and completely unmasked authenticity. Where compassionate honesty is the baseline, we live in less fear, we’re not escaping or running from the past, and we’re working with our own unique architecture to dismantle oppressive systems so we can then create and lead more equitable ones. The children of tomorrow will feel this the moment they arrive, and that environment will set a brand-new foundation. The bloodlines will heal. The Children We Carry

🎧 Author’s Note: The text below takes about 7 minutes to read. However, I have recorded a special, immersive audio version of this piece with built-in pauses to guide you through the visualization. If you are able, I highly invite you to grab your headphones, close your eyes, and press play. This meditative essay is designed to bring your awareness to the generational mindsets we are ready to outgrow. It’s most powerful when visualizing a young version of someone in your lineage; a grandparent, a mother, a son. But I encourage you to use this as a means of foundational reclamation—tending to your own inner child first. Close your eyes. Take a mindful breath. Let’s tune in... Imagine this loved one appearing before you at a significant, formative age. They’re holding onto a carefree effervescence, a heightened intuition, and a soft, sensitive soul. As this child moves into your field of view, watch their face light up at the first sight of you. A brief thrill finds them... before a deep calm washes over. Notice how their fear of judgment subsides immediately in your presence. For in your eyes, they are truly seen. Now, cast your mind to a moment of emotional intensity and observe how you comfort them. You offer space to explore feelings as they arise. Together, you honor those internal signals... assuring them they are safe to just be. In this place, all pressures to conform are released. There are no perceptions to manage, and nothing left to prove. Pull that feeling of sanctity close. Its light can guide you for a lifetime, if you so allow. Imagine this little one being encouraged to live boldly in their truth and ally with their authenticity. What does that look like? How do they express themselves? Imagine you’re the one providing the space they need to explore who they are, without telling them who they ought to be. You don’t interject or force their process, because you so deeply trust their inherent knowing. You understand what it feels like to have your path decided for you. So, in true reverence for this child, you grant them the autonomy to forge their own way. Now imagine this mirror-of-a-human wanting and choosing to spend time with you at each and every stage of their life. They want to call. They want to visit. They’re energized by your presence and value your opinions. They don’t feel reluctant to share the space, it’s something they joyfully desire. Under no obligation to uphold a façade, but instead, to maintain the quality of the most authentic version of a life they built for themselves. Neither of you take the other for granted. Imagine that. They feel safe to share their highs and lows because you offer energetic validation and support. Anything that matters to this child, matters to you, deeply. This... this is when truly powerful transformation can take place. You’re always there as a gentle guide, opening their eyes to new pathways and possibilities, but never taking ownership of their roadmap. You learn together and you witness their unique, eternal becoming. Sit with this child. Ask them what they’d like you to know, and really listen to their answer. I’ll wait. Now, gently let that imagery settle as we step back into the present space. I was born into circumstances that wanted me to believe there’s only one kind of safety that matters: physical safety. Planting the deep ache of survival-mode early. Physical safety meant I watched my single mother—and village of a family—fight tirelessly against all odds and oppressive systems. Pushing boulders uphill to keep all their children fed, housed, clothed, and physically unharmed. A necessary, noble cause indeed. My childhood was defined by economic vulnerability. Food was insecure, housing unstable, with frequent loss of utilities, and an endless seeking of the relief we desperately needed. I reflect often on the community aid and collective care that kept my family just resourced enough to stay afloat. I could write pages of gratitude, and I intend to. But two things can exist at once. I am thankful that I was kept alive, but I also acknowledge the extraordinary lack of emotional safety at every stage in my development. A truth that plagued me with pain so deep, I was drained of nearly all my childhood light. I’m speaking as someone who spent an entire adolescence being externally cared for and internally isolated. Constantly told I was loved, but never once asked how I felt. There was no one around me who had the capacity to console or validate me as I struggled—and we all struggle. Not one teacher, not one caregiver. From every voice at every angle, I was told what to do and when. Told what to believe and how to conduct myself. Everyone was talking at me, telling me to listen. At school, I was acutely aware of how often I was graded solely on my willingness to conform. They were critiquing every move, judging my missteps, and undermining my voice whenever they had the chance. And always in the name of keeping me safe. They wanted me to inherit the fears they never worked to dismantle within themselves... and it showed. Depending on how deep your own authoritarian wound is buried, this may or may not sound familiar. But even now, I see it everywhere. All the time. I was left at the end of each day feeling entirely unseen and unheard. At some very early age, I stopped speaking altogether and began writing instead. I opted to disappear into my own world, because it was the only place I felt understood. I longed for nothing the way I longed for my adulthood to arrive... eager to leave everything behind and start the life I had been writing into existence. And I did. So why was there no emotional safety? Maybe because my mother was never offered that. And her mother was never offered that. To be honest, most of our parents were never shown that kind of grace. The cycle continuesuntil it is broken. I’m writing about this because I know how it affected me, and I see this particular flavor of neglect present itself in the daily behaviors of nearly every person I’ve ever known. Regardless of whether they had basic survival needs met or not, household fears were in high supply and almost assuredly force-fed. From where I’m sitting, emotional neglect is damn near universal. It is compulsively hardwired into our societal consciousness. Even if you find its impact relatively benign, could it be we’ve simply been too afraid to grab the magnifying glass and zoom in? Possibly. And honestly, I get why! But I want to help as many people as possible retire the mindset that physical safety is all that matters. We have spent generations learning how to survive. But survival is a tight, crowded space. What happens when we look into our own eyes and realize we are safe enough to expand? That hypervigilance is something that may have served us in scarcity but no longer caters to who we are becoming. Children need food, water, and housing, of course. And I know all too well how impossible it can feel to find capacity beyond that. If you are in that survival space right now, your exhaustion is completely valid. But there are millions of children who have every physical need met and are still growing up numb. Plagued with the undissolved ego of their parents... believing that love is conditional... carrying deep fears of abandonment, judgment, and vulnerability. These ailments often manifesting as depression, or rage, or substance abuse. We see entire generations opting for escape, or living in a loop of perpetual self-sabotage. At what point do we shift our energy from supplying band-aids to actualizing the cures? How can we begin to tend to ourselves and our children beyond the bare minimum? And then there are Systemic Ripples… It is worth mentioning that when adults are economically resourced, but still operating from these unhealed wounds, they are far more likely to create self-serving systems aligned with moral corruption. We’ve watched time and time again as they project their internal fear and lack onto the world from positions of power. But imagine the alternative. Imagine the adult who was raised in spaces of openness and authenticity, where fear was merely an ally in self-reflection, and identity was something to be explored without judgement. Imagine the kind of creative, uninhibited thinking that could power inspiring alternate systems. Ones that serve the world we actually want to be living in. I don’t think we should disrupt efforts to meet the basic physical needs of children, obviously. But I do think it’s important to look at ourselves deeply enough to recognize how we are engaging in cycles of emotional care, and how those cycles manifest in every corner where children are present. Are we offering the type of support that we as children actually needed? Or are we avoidant, and limited to only one way of being, simply because we were never taught that something else exists? This reflection alone is a beautiful and revolutionary act of humanization. I will spend my life trying to woo you into this state of mind. Now... return to your imagination. Picture that same child becoming an adult after you have internally met them—and met yourself—so well. They lead companies and continue family legacies. They’re deeply creative, I just know it. Imagine their capacity to love and be loved. How do they show up for people? How do they engage with life? How do they tend to their own wellbeing? Just imagine their preparedness, guided by moral codes that were cultivated in environments of truth and openness, instead of fear and lack. These children won’t grow up to spend years healing and unpacking trauma. They won’t have layers of shame to deconstruct. Imagine them never having to engage with the painful work of disassembling a miles-high façade. They’ll know how to express, communicate, and regulate their emotions. Imagine we then become a world with less escapism. Less avoidance.

    For Those Who Aren’t Ready

My mission is simple—to aid in the liberation of all people from all cycles of woundedness. And today I write to you with a core truth: that I am infinitely more bridge-building than I am polarizing. Holding a gritty collection of hard-won receipts from my lived human experience, my authentic self has vowed to remain graceful, peaceful, and true What a superpower; to be cosmically designed for accessibility at a time when the world is starving for a compassionate shift-of-the-masses. As if I am tailor-made to turn a rebellion into a homecoming. That said, Outgrown is not for everyone. As a high-frequency, high-accountability writer, my storytelling will effectively repel those who aren’t ready to take ownership of their own narrative. Identifying the “NO” audience offers clarity, which makes the “YES!” so powerfully magnetic. I’d encourage you to check in with yourself as you read on. Stay until the end, even if it feels abrasive. Here’s a deeper look into who this work will naturally deter: 1. The Comfortably Complacent Many people find a sense of safety in their stuckness. They aren’t just in apathy; they are committed to it because it shields them from the risk of failure. Since this mission is about evolution, my writing will read as a threat to their equilibrium. This group will hear the “call to rise” and dismiss it with haste, like an annoying alarm clock when they have every intention of staying in bed. 2. Those Collecting Victimhood Because I speak about reclaiming identity and shifting narratives, I will most definitely be too much for those who use their trauma as a permanent parking pass. While I will consistently hold space and express deep compassion for the horrors that shape us, my focus on cycle-breaking requires a level of agency that feels aggressive to someone currently identifying entirely with their wounds. 3. The Spiritual Bypasser There is a massive audience for “Love and Light” content that willfully sidesteps the realities of our aching world. My work—which looks directly at themes like poverty, estrangement, grief, and systemic tension—will feel too “heavy” or “dark” for those who want their spirituality to be a bubble bath and not a human mirror that renders them vulnerable. This group wants to enjoy the rose-colored glasses and ignore the hard-fought perspective, and that just ain’t me. 4. The Cynical Intellectual I am descended from Native Shamans, West African Goddesses, and Celtic witchery. I will always lead with my soul, and I will continue to draw emotional aid from my holistic toolkit. A certain type of “strictly logic” thinker will see the word karma and hit the bricks immediately, fearing any amount of spiritual depth. This audience may value my sharp wit, but they will be effectively repulsed by the dreamy picture I am painting. They want a debate; I’m offering a transformation. 5. The Ones Seeking a Quick Fix I romanticize the vastness of the journey and zoom in on the nuance of the relentless, worthwhile fight. Uncovering truth takes time, courage requires practice, and Outgrown is a forever-way-of-being. I am naturally going to dismiss the “3-steps-to-happiness” crowd. Pop-psych and avoidant theories like “Let Them” capitalize on those looking for an easy hack or a comfortable escape. My emphasis on courage and depth will likely be too effortful for those who want a band-aid to stop the bleeding, without fostering the self-compassion required to tend the core wound. With all that said, let me be clear: I have not arrived at any peak. I’m not looking down from a vantage point, telling you to hurry up or that you’re going the wrong way. I’m shining an authentic public light on the path that I continue to walk myself—fueled by extraordinary compassion for the inhibiting cycles we have each been exposed to, how those cycles have shaped us, and how they continue to manifest. I’m inviting you in with the hope that you feel motivated into action, and maybe I can help you see yourself a little more clearly along the way. I’m not here to act as an angelic figure or prove I have all the answers. Instead, I’m here to show you what it can look like to study your own story, helping you arrive at the answers that are truly yours. I’m here as a mirror, a witness, and a companion—I’m on the journey with you. As we venture, I will be speaking to the dark and rough terrain behind us, often celebrating how far we’ve come. We’ll make frequent stops to acknowledge the sanctity of the present moment, and I’ll keep reminding us both that what comes next will surely be an inspired truth. Just ahead, a shaded corner we must turn, and whether we’re met with an unwelcome surprise, a moment of sharp whiplash, a blinding leap of faith, or a true, profound love, it will be magical because it’s an opportunity to engage more deeply with who we are. I know in my bones: it is that self-awareness that will deliver us to the summit. With love love love,-Kylee This is a public episode. Welcome to So Outgrown

I’m out here on a mission—pen in hand with a sharp mind, quick wit, a mosaic for an identity, and a thorough understanding of self-devotion. I’m here to engage deeply with a very challenging and beautiful life and then tell you all about it. At my core, I am a writer and a visionary. I recognize and understand the darkness, yet the light beyond feels imminent. I see humanity’s potential in the most idyllic and excruciating detail, and I intend to leverage my entire toolkit to paint you the dreamy picture of what is possible. Preview: it’s you and me in healed prosperity, contributing to society’s widespread return to authentic collective care, it’s children basking in emotional safety, and earth-centered mindsets abound. It’s the prolific creation of art & music, nature in a state of excessive lush, and communities steeped in a joyful, equitable reality *the inner-child drools*. My Human Design reveals what I’ve always known: first comes the effortful lived experience. For me, this meant things like childhood poverty, parental estrangement, emotional neglect, navigating infertility, divorce, and reclaiming cultural identity, to name just a few. Then comes my time for visible storytelling, which [bonus!] now also creates a warm public space for shared expansion. Building this swoon-worthy world requires us to believe that the harmful storylines we’ve inherited as individuals do not need to perpetuate, that we have the power to shift our narrative at any time, and that bravery is accessible to all of us. Uniquely wired as a “karmic mirror” (meaning I often reflect back the truths people struggle to acknowledge within themselves), I will try to orient you toward personal healing and emotional evolution by living in my own authenticity, sharing my stories of strain and growth, witnessing you for your truth and light, and then calling all of us to rise into our highest and best good. Looking out at the world today, I’m telling you, it’s going to take a lot of courage to meet this moment. The word ‘Outgrown’ is declarative. Built around the notion that we maintain awareness and are consciously choosing to evolve out of patterns, mindsets, and behaviors that no longer serve who we are becoming. A potent reminder that we can make new choices and make our own way. If you’ve never heard me speak before, it’s because I have LITERALLY been hibernating in observation mode for the last 34 years. Sharpening my pattern recognition to the finest point possible and feeling into the authenticity of every single connection (for better or worse). Most recently (ever since October 9th, 2025), I’ve been putting all the pieces of my life together and waking up daily to the song that is mine alone to sing. Now, amid society’s most transformative and consequential paradigm shift, I realize I have a lot to say and an unmistakable call to inspire the discovery and actualization of your very own spark. This work is about generational healing. Cycle-breaking, unlearning, repatterning, and ascension. Basically, we’re all gonna hold hands and strengthen that collective spine together. And to that end, much of my writing will center the theme of courage—the turning point in Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness (a feelings-ladder of sorts) and that sacred, defining moment when you choose to go your own way. It was only after consulting every single version of myself that I realized, courage is the one true constant in my life; the virtue I desperately search for in others, the behavior that has always kept me in my own integrity, and the pivotal bridge between who we’ve been and who we are becoming. It’s the only thing worth anything, in my opinion. I’ve always known that I’m here with purpose. That I have a creative spirit, a soulful mind for strategic visioning, and rose-colored glasses through which I see the world and humanity (no matter how dark it gets). I’ve been known to abandon hobbies, interests, classes, and ventures the moment I realize they’re not soul-aligned, but never once have I abandoned myself (major key alert). I’m not a doctor, or a spiritual guru, or an AI agent. I am a real person from the real world who has walked a path of courage for as long as I can remember. I am a student of my environment, having existed long-term in both underserved and overserved realities with more empathy than I can manage, and a student of myself, having spent a lifetime cultivating an internal sense of belonging (because I couldn’t access it elsewhere). I spend my days navigating a complex, multifaceted identity and curiously exploring a fluid sense of self (sometimes with grace, and sometimes just trying to stay afloat) (Gemini behavior), and I’ve witnessed both strain and prosperity from what feels like every angle imaginable. I have fought relentlessly for the quality of my own life, believing that one day my cup would be full enough to pour into humanity at the magnitude I’m designed for—so here we are. My search continues for all the internal and external tools it takes to find deeper understanding and reach high for true alignment (even when it’s scary, even when it’s painful, even when I’m weary). I’m not here to tell you how to live. I’m simply going to share my own journey to authenticity, and I would be honored to witness you in yours. Click here to anonymously share your cycle-breaking story, contribute to the collective narrative, or ask me anything. Consider me a friend. I’ve observed the patterns, absorbed the truth, walked the path, and I see you—that work will continue forever. The door is open now, we can stroll together with intention, whenever you’re ready.
