Haytham Tamim

Haytham Tamim is a UK-based Islamic scholar, founder of the Utrujj Foundation, and an expert in Quran, Hadith, fiqh and comparative jurisprudence. He has studied under major scholars and holds high-level certifications (ijazahs) in the Islamic sciences. Haytham Tamim established the Utrujj Foundation around 2001 in the UK with the aim of offering accessible courses in tafsir, hadith, Islamic law and spiritual development. He has overseen the delivery of over 200 unique courses, teaches online and in-person, and his style emphasises clear connection between classical scholarship and contemporary challenges. Haytham Tamim has lectured in institutions such as the Islamic University of Beirut and served as a lecturer in comparative jurisprudence and hadith. He is also involved in Islamic finance and Shariah consultancy through Shariah Solutions Ltd and other advisory roles in Europe. Haytham Tamim’s mission centres on empowering individuals to live Islam mindfully, cultivate connection to the Quran and Sunnah, and apply Islamic wisdom in everyday life.
