I didn't buy my 911 to look cool, project an image, or fit in with the Porsche crowd. I bought it because the first time I drove a 911, it completely changed how I felt about driving. I fell in love with the experience. And that's exactly why I created TheWasteGate. This channel isn't a Porsche commercial. It's about the TOTAL Porsche ownership experience — the cars, the culture, the community, the highs, the lows, the unexpected expenses, the incredible drives, and everything in between. Talking about a $4,000 repair isn't being negative. Saying that a Porsche can be expensive to maintain isn't being negative. It's information. Because the goal isn't to convince you to buy a Porsche. The goal is to help you understand what you're actually buying. I love Porsche. I love the cars. I love the experience. But I don't do Porsche commercials.
