We are moderate X-Men fans who love the X-Men on the surface but have had little interest in venturing underneath. So to get a more fulfilling understanding of the characters and lore, we are attempting to recap and review the original X-Men comic series--meaning we will start at 1963's X-Men #1 and attempt to go all the way up to 2011's Uncanny X-Men #544. X-Men #13-18

We return to the Silver Age with X-Men issues 13 through 18. We also provide a history of 1966's "The Marvel Super Heroes," which is the first cartoon based on Marvel's super heroes (obviously). And it also marks the first animated appearance of the X-Men...who aren't called the X-Men because of rights issues. Please visit our blog at uncanningxmen.wordpress.com.
