Something Better | WK 1 | North Kitsap

What do we do when following Jesus brings more pressure instead of making life easier? As we begin a journey through the book of Hebrews, we’re reminded that faith isn’t just about what we believe—it’s about who gets the final word in our lives. In a world filled with competing voices, priorities, and pressures, Hebrews points us to Jesus as the better King: the ultimate revelation of God, the perfect representation of His character, and the One whose authority and work stand forever. This message challenges us to consider what—or who—has our allegiance, and what it looks like to let Jesus transform us when pressure comes rather than going back to what is familiar. Because when everything else fades, kingdoms change, and circumstances shift, Jesus remains the same.

More Than A Feeling | WK 4 | North Kitsap

What do we do when love doesn’t feel like love anymore? In the final message of the “More Than a Feeling” series, we explore the staying power of Christ love—the kind of love that remains committed when relationships become difficult, fights for what matters, and refuses to quit in the middle of the story. Through 1 Corinthians 13 and powerful stories of marriage, foster care, loss, and redemption, we’re reminded that real love doesn’t ignore brokenness or tolerate harm; instead, it seeks healing, tells the truth, and continues to believe that God is still at work. Most importantly, we look to Jesus, whose love stayed committed even when loving us meant the cross. What would change in our relationships if we chose to keep loving, even when it’s hard?

More Than A Feeling | WK 3 | North Kitsap

n this week’s message, we continue our “More Than a Feeling” series by exploring one of the most challenging expressions of love from 1 Corinthians 13: “Love keeps no record of wrongs.” What does it actually mean to stop keeping score when someone has hurt us? Pastor Brandon unpacks the difference between remembering for wisdom and remembering as ammunition, reminding us that love doesn’t ignore sin, remove healthy boundaries, or pretend hurt never happened—but it does choose what to do with the memory. Through honest stories, practical wisdom, and Paul’s teaching to the church in Corinth, we’re challenged to release the “ledger” of offenses, stop carrying old wounds into new conflicts, and consider who in our lives may need us to reaffirm our love. What would change in your relationships if you stopped keeping score and started choosing love?

More Than A Feeling | WK 2 | North Kitsap

What does it really look like to love someone without needing to get your own way? Continuing through 1 Corinthians 13, this message explores Paul’s challenging reminder that love “does not demand its own way.” From our tendency to fight for our rights, seek recognition, protect our preferences, and make relationships about ourselves, we’re invited into a better way—one that chooses humility, listens well, serves instead of demands, and puts “we” before “me.” Through practical examples and a powerful look at the way Jesus lived, this message challenges us to consider not just what we want from the people around us, but how we can become people who build others up. What might change in your relationships if you stopped asking, “What’s best for me?” and started asking, “What’s best for you?”

More Than a Feeling | WK 1 | North Kitsap

What does it really mean to love like Jesus? In the opening message of the More Than a Feeling series, we dive into 1 Corinthians 13 and discover that biblical love is far more than an emotion—it’s a way of life. In a culture where love is often defined by feelings, convenience, and what we believe we deserve, Jesus calls His followers to something radically different: loving difficult people, laying down our rights, choosing commitment, and becoming the most loving version of ourselves. As we look at the messy church in Corinth and Paul’s powerful words about love, we’re challenged to ask a deeper question—not “What do I deserve?” but “What does love require of me?” And as the message begins with the words “love is patient,” we discover how patience may be one of the clearest ways our faith becomes visible in our everyday relationships.

Summer Shorts | WK 4 | North Kitsap

What does it mean to truly leave the past behind and follow God forward? In the final message of the Summer Shortsseries, Brandon unpacks Jesus’ surprising command to “Remember Lot’s wife” and explores the danger of becoming so comfortable with the culture around us that we lose sight of who God has called us to be. Through the story of Lot, his family, and Abraham’s powerful prayers of intercession, we’re reminded that evil is real, God cares deeply about people, and none of us are immune to being shaped by what surrounds us. This message challenges us to examine what we may be clinging to, develop convictions that guard our lives, and trust that God’s mercy and purposes are greater than the darkness around us.

Summer Shorts | WK 3 | North Kitsap

What does it mean to bring our whole selves—including our deepest emotions—to God? In this message from the Summer Shortsseries, Brandon unpacks the shortest verse in the Bible: “Jesus wept.” Through the story of Jesus grieving with Mary and Martha, we’re reminded that emotion isn’t something to hide or be ashamed of—it’s part of how God designed us. This message explores what Scripture reveals about God’s own emotions, why faith doesn’t require us to pretend everything is okay, and how expressing what we’re really feeling can deepen our connection with God and with others. Discover why your tears matter to God, why sometimes connection matters more than words, and how learning to name and bring our emotions to God can keep our hearts responsive rather than reactive.

Summer Shorts | WK 2 | North Kitsap

What happens when pressure hits—and what comes out of you reveals what you’ve been practicing all along? In this message from the Summer Shorts series, Brandon unpacks the simple but powerful command from 1 Thessalonians 5:17: “Never stop praying.” Through the story of the early Thessalonian church, practical insights on how prayer prepares us for pressure, and Jesus’ teaching on prayer, we’re challenged to make prayer more than something we do occasionally—it becomes a way of life. Discover what it means to continually return to God, even when prayers aren’t answered the way we hoped, and learn five simple practices for becoming more aware of God, engaging with Him, inviting Him into our struggles, and watching for His work in the ordinary moments of life.
