英语学习第二节 - Could You Please, If I, and Because

A short Daily English Practice episode for lesson two, using three everyday structures: Could you please..., If I..., I'll..., and because. Topics include learning AI and English, career opportunities, learning new things, getting stronger through exercise, and speaking English in the United States in the future. FULL TRANSCRIPT Welcome back to Daily English Practice. This is English Learning, Lesson Two. Today, we’ll practice three simple patterns you can use in real life: Could you please, If I, I'll, and because. First, a polite request. Could you please help me stay consistent with my English and AI learning? I want to learn new things every day, but I know I’ll do better if I have a clear routine and someone to practice with. Now your turn. Make your own polite request with: Could you please. Ask for help with something real in your learning, work, health, or future plans. Second, a condition. If I keep improving my English and understand AI better, I’ll have more career opportunities. I’ll be able to talk with more people, learn from better resources, and feel more prepared for the future. Now your turn. Make your own sentence with: If I, I'll. Say one thing you can do, and one result you hope it will bring. Third, a reason. I’m excited about learning new things because it makes my life feel bigger. I’m also trying to exercise more because I want to become stronger and have more energy. And one day, if I go to the United States, I want to feel comfortable speaking English in real life. Now your turn. Make your own reason sentence with: I'm, because. Or say: I want to, because. Use a real feeling, goal, or reason from your life. Let’s finish with three short lines. Could you please help me stay consistent with my English and AI learning? If I keep improving my English and understand AI better, I’ll have more career opportunities. I’m excited about learning new things because it makes my life feel bigger. Nice work. Keep it simple, keep it personal, and use these patterns again today. English Commute Radio 01 - Three Useful Patterns

Mark's natural spoken practice episode for three patterns: I've been meaning to..., I'm working on..., and What I'm trying to do is.... FULL TRANSCRIPT Welcome back. This is a short English practice session for your commute. Today, we're not memorizing perfect sentences. We're learning three patterns you can use to talk about your real life. First, I've been meaning to. Use it for something you've wanted to do for a while. Listen: I've been meaning to improve my English. Now you. Here's another one: I've been meaning to go on holiday to New Zealand. Say it in your own way. Maybe there is somewhere you've been meaning to visit. Second, I'm working on. Use it for something you're actively trying to improve. Listen: I'm working on improving my spoken English by practicing a little every day. Your turn. You could also say: I'm working on losing weight by sticking to my diet. Or: I'm working on building a better routine. Pick one that is true for you. Third, what I'm trying to do is... This is a clear way to explain your bigger goal. Listen: What I'm trying to do is build a steady routine that I can keep. Your turn. Here's one more: What I'm trying to do is become financially successful and support my family. Now make it personal. Let's put the three patterns together. I've been meaning to improve my English. I'm working on speaking a little every day. What I'm trying to do is become more confident in real conversations. Notice: the point isn't to copy my life. Change the details. Talk about your work, your health, travel, or someone important to you. One last challenge. Tell yourself a short story: something you've been meaning to do, something you're working on, and what you're trying to achieve. Take your time. Nice work. Keep it simple, keep it personal, and use these patterns again tomorrow.
