    This Is How to Overcome your Procrastination

    In this episode we dive into Assia’s personal experience with procrastination, avoidance, and the comfort of staying in familiar routines. She shares how she spent years putting off going to the gym because work and other priorities always seemed more important. She also reveals how she delayed starting the podcast, despite already having the equipment, because she was comfortable doing what she already knew. The turning point came when she asked herself, “What does the best version of me do?” This question helped her identify the things she had been avoiding and take action. Instead of waiting to feel motivated, Assia changed her identity, decided to become a “gym person,” created a plan, asked for help, and chose an environment that supported her goals. Her biggest lesson is that real growth happens when we step outside our comfort zone.     The Reflected Podcast is where two twin sisters reflect, learn, and grow together while helping women take control of their lives and become their highest-potential selves. We created this podcast because we made a decision to break away from a life of simply surviving and letting circumstances or other people determine our future. We want to intentionally build lives we are proud of, lives filled with purpose, growth, freedom, and excitement. The name “Reflected” represents both our constant deep conversations and our spiritual mission: to become like clean, transparent glass that reflects Allah’s light into a world full of darkness. Through self-reflection and inner cleansing, we believe we can embody more of Allah’s guidance and become a source of light in the world. We bring together everything we learn from our experiences, books, podcasts, business, mindset work, and the conversations we have with each other. We challenge and coach each other to uncover blind spots, question old identities, and continuously evolve. Our goal is exponential growth and “quantum leaping” across every area of our lives. This podcast is for women who take action. It is not for people who only talk about their dreams, collect information without applying it, live in victimhood, blame others, or surrender their power to their circumstances. It is for women who are ready to take responsibility, reclaim their power, pursue their potential, and actively create the life they want. At the core of everything we believe is this: Your life is your responsibility. Nobody owns your life except Allah. You have a choice in who you become and what you create with the life Allah has given you. And we want you to become our “third sister.” Come into the conversation with us. Reflect deeply.
