This is when you say : Like there’s no tomorrow As if there was no tomorrow It means to do something as if it were your last moment How to use it Here are a few everyday examples: * I ate as if there was no tomorrow * You’re eating like there’s no tomorrow * He’s been drinking like there’s no tomorrow Mini pronunciation tip Notice how native speakers often connect the words: Notice how “there is” becomes there’s, making the expression smoother and more natural. * There is no tomorrow → There’s no tomorrow Your challenge 🏋️ Complete these sentences aloud: * Have you ever done something __________________? * Once I ____________ as if there was no tomorrow * My friend usually ________________ like there’s no tomorrow Say your answers out loud—the Gym is for speaking, not just reading. This is when you say : Let’s get it over with It means to do something even when you don’t really feel enthusiastic about it. How to use it Here are a few everyday examples: I have to get an injection, I’m scared, but let’s get it over with! I need to talk to someone I don’t really want to talk to , let’s get that conversation over with! I don’t want to get up, let’s get it over with!
