    Remembrance Day

Join Rosie the German Shepherd and Maverick the Rhodesian Ridgeback as they set out with their family on a special Remembrance Day adventure. When a red poppy appears on the door of the big blue house, questions fill the kitchen table—why the flowers, why the parade, and what Canadians did in the wars. A surprise trip to the National Air Force Museum leads them to a giant Halifax bomber, and stories of young pilots who flew Hurricanes and Spitfires. By the time the bagpipes play and the town falls silent at the cenotaph, Rosie and Maverick have learned that remembering means keeping both the hard things and the kindness from getting lost.
