What started as a little passion project has grown into something so much bigger than the three of us could have imagined. In this special episode, Katrina, Holly and Penelope sit down together to look back on the first 12 months of Women Who Move — the women we’ve met, the stories that have stayed with us, what we’ve learned and what’s coming next. In this episode, we chat about: • Celebrating 12 months of Women Who Move and how it all began • The biggest lessons we’ve taken from the incredible women we’ve interviewed • The vulnerability, challenges and behind-the-scenes stories that don’t always make it to social media • Our favourite episodes and the guests who have left a lasting impression on us • The women we’d love to have on the podcast one day • Some of our favourite behind-the-scenes moments (including a few things that definitely didn’t go to plan!) • How Women Who Move has helped us grow personally, professionally and as interviewers • What we’ve learned about self-doubt, changing direction, finding your path and simply figuring it out as you go • What the next 12 months could look like, including some very exciting guests and new ideas • And, of course, a big thank you to every woman who has shared her story with us and every person who has listened, shared, messaged or supported Women Who Move along the way 12 months in, and we really do feel like we’re only just getting started. From Chaos to Calm: Jackie Brown on Confidence, Courage & Resilience

In this episode, we sit down with Jackie Brown to talk about confidence, courage, resilience and what it really means to back yourself when life doesn’t go to plan. Jackie has had an incredible career — from representing Australia in elite basketball and playing professionally overseas, to becoming a firefighter with Queensland Fire Department and now coaching and mentoring others to perform under pressure. We chat about the lessons Jackie has taken from each chapter of her life, including what sport taught her about teamwork, leadership and resilience, why she believes courage often comes before confidence, and how she has learned to keep moving forward by asking herself one simple question: “What’s next?” Jackie also opens up about the moments that have challenged her, making the difficult decision to walk away from basketball, dealing with self-doubt and imposter syndrome, and why knowing your values and being willing to stand by them can be one of the hardest — but most important — things we do. What we cover: Jackie’s journey from elite basketball to professional sport and firefightingThe women and experiences that shaped who Jackie is todayWhat elite sport taught her about pressure, resilience and leadershipWhy courage can come before confidenceHow Jackie approaches difficult situations and asks, “What’s next?”Walking away from something she loved when her values were challengedDealing with self-doubt and imposter syndrome, even after achieving so muchWhy women don’t need to compete with each other to succeedThe importance of vulnerability, connection and having the right people around youHow confidence can be built through action rather than waiting to feel readyWhat Jackie has learned from firefighting about staying calm under pressureHer advice for women who are doubting themselves or feeling stuckThe importance of knowing your values and backing yourself Jackie’s story is a reminder that confidence doesn’t always come from feeling certain or having all the answers. Sometimes it comes from taking the next step, trusting yourself, knowing what matters to you and being brave enough to ask, “What’s next?” Make sure to follow us: IG: women_who_move
