    What Is Enough?

What happens when your maximum quietly becomes the minimum you expect from yourself? In Episode 13 of The Way Back to You, I explore why achievement, progress and even the things we once dreamed of can begin to feel insufficient. Through personal reflections on strength training, career growth, podcasting, creativity, food, rest and ambition, I examine the habit of moving the goalpost every time we reach it. This is not an episode about lowering your standards or giving up on growth. It is about learning to remain ambitious without turning every aspiration into an obligation. Reflection questions: • Where have you turned your maximum into your minimum? • What achievement have you stopped recognising because it became normal? • What aspiration has quietly become an obligation? • Are your standards helping you grow or preventing you from feeling proud? • What are you trying to prove through achievement? • What would sustainable ambition look like? • What is enough for this season of your life? • What is enough for today? Your maximum is not your permanent minimum. Recognising that something is enough today does not mean you have stopped growing. It may mean you have finally begun noticing how far you have already come. The Way Back to You is a podcast about self-trust, authenticity, courage, growth and purpose. What Would You Do If You Stopped Waiting to Feel Ready?

What would you do if you stopped waiting to feel ready? In Episode 10 of The Way Back to You, I explore one of the biggest myths many of us carry: the belief that confidence comes before action. Through personal stories about becoming a Store Manager, becoming Head of HR, moving countries, starting strength training, launching this podcast and building a coaching business, I reflect on what readiness really means. I explore the difference between preparation and avoidance, the illusion of certainty and why so many of life's most important opportunities arrive long before we feel fully ready. Reflection questions: • What are you waiting to begin? • What evidence are you waiting for? • Are you preparing or avoiding? • What would you do if fear was not making the decision? • What is one small step you could take this week? • What if readiness is something you build rather than something you feel? Looking back at my life, almost none of the decisions that changed me happened when I felt ready. They happened when I was willing. Maybe readiness is not something we feel. Maybe readiness is something we build. The Way Back to You is a podcast about self-trust, authenticity, courage, growth and purpose. The Courage to Disappoint People

What if disappointing someone doesn't mean you've done something wrong? In Episode 7 of The Way Back to You, I explore the difficult but important distinction between disappointing someone and betraying someone. Through personal stories from leadership, cultural transitions, coaching and relationships, I reflect on why so many of us feel responsible for other people's emotions and how the fear of disappointment can quietly lead us away from ourselves. I explore the desire to be understood, the need to explain our intentions, the challenge of making unpopular decisions and the courage required to remain true to ourselves when others may not agree. Reflection questions: • Whose disappointment are you working hardest to avoid? • What are you afraid their disappointment will say about you? • Are you explaining to communicate or explaining to gain approval? • Can you disappoint someone without betraying them? • Where are you disappointing yourself to avoid disappointing others? The goal is not to stop caring. The goal is to care without making other people's disappointment the authority over your decisions. Why We Wait

What are you waiting for, and what is sitting underneath that waiting? In Episode 6 of The Way Back to You, I explore why we postpone beginnings, decisions and endings. Sometimes we wait because we are afraid. Sometimes we wait because we need time to prepare. Sometimes we wait because we hope something will change. And sometimes we wait because we love deeply and want to know that we have done everything within our power. Through personal stories about career, coaching, strength training, podcasting and one of the most painful decisions of my life, I explore the difference between conscious preparation and avoidance. Reflection questions: • What have you been waiting to begin? • What story have you created to explain why you are not ready? • Is your waiting producing preparation or avoidance? • What are you afraid you might lose if you move forward? • What might you lose if you continue waiting? • What if readiness is not something you feel, but something you build You do not need to stop being afraid before you begin. Sometimes action does not follow confidence. Confidence is created through action. The Way Back to You is a podcast about self-trust, authenticity, courage, growth and purpose.
