"I Will Do Anything...But I Won't Do That!" -Probably Naaman

What happens when a powerful commander expects a grand miracle but God tells him to take seven dips in a river? Pride meets the Jordan! In this episode, we're diving into 2 Kings 5 to talk about Naaman, a man who had everything except what he desperately needed: healing. Through an unexpected messenger and a very unimpressive river, Naaman learns that God's instructions don't have to make sense to deserve our obedience. Join us as we laugh, learn, and ask ourselves the hard questions: Are we willing to humble ourselves? Do we trust God when His answer doesn't look the way we expected? And are we missing our miracle because we're too busy arguing with the instructions? The takeaway: Sometimes the breakthrough begins when the pride ends. You don't have to understand God's ways to trust His Word! 📖 Scripture: 2 Kings 5

And she answered, It is well.” — 2 Kings 4:26 (KJV)  Have you ever had to trust God when your circumstances said otherwise? Join us as we dive into the heartbreak, unwavering faith, and God's beautiful mercy in the story of the Shunammite woman.

    Fighting with the Big Boys!

Welcome to the story of one big boy: Og, king of Bashan! What do you do when the thing standing in front of you looks way bigger than you? In this episode, we’re diving into the story of King Og of Bashan in Deuteronomy 3—a king, a giant, and a reminder that God is bigger than whatever looks impossible from where we’re standing. We’re talking about fear, faith, obedience, and what happens when God asks us to face something that feels completely out of our league. Because sometimes the “giant” in front of us isn’t there to show us how small we are—it’s an opportunity to see just how big our God is. Grab your coffee, open your Bible, and come laugh with us as we ask some uncomfortable questions about what King Og’s story might reveal about our own giants today. Same God. Same message. Different book. ☕📖

    The Moabite Ruth

Ruth said, “Where you go, I’ll go.” We said, “Okay but… have you READ this story closely?” 👀😂 In this episode, we’re diving into Ruth—loyalty, redemption, provision, some seriously questionable cultural context, and a whole lot of God working behind the scenes. It’s one of those Bible stories you think you know… until you actually stop and look at what’s happening. 👀 Buckle up for a beautiful and true love story that only Elohim could write into history!

    The Hoeabite Rehab

If you think your lineage is colorful, we dare you to check out King David's and ultimately Jesus'. This week we will look at one of the two women who bring color to this line. We lovingly refer to the first woman as the hoeabite Rahab (tune in next episode to see why). She is a woman who should not have been married, let alone in a royal lineage, but becomes part of one of the most well-known. She goes from being a prostitute to a princess in a few verses because of her willingness to humble herself and accept God as her savior. Her story shows us that no matter how far you have fallen in sin, you are never too dirty for our loving ABBA.

The Left-Handed Assassin, the Fat King, & Jesus somehow

What happens when one of the strangest stories in Judges turns into a lesson about courage, obedience, and God using the most unexpected people? This week, we’re diving into Ehud and Eglon in Judges 3—yes, that story. The left-handed judge, the very unexpected weapon, the locked doors… and somehow, we still end up talking about Jesus. Come laugh with us, ask the uncomfortable questions, and dig into what this wild story actually reveals about God, His people, and our own hearts.
