Content warning: This episode contains discussions of suicide, mental health and alcohol addiction, which some viewers may find upsetting. Over the past week, Tea & Vodka has marked 70 years of the BFI London Film Festival with eight conversations with people at the heart of the world of film. For our final conversation, Ebs is joined by filmmaker Carol Morley... Carol talks about turning her own childhood and teenage years into film, finding her way from Manchester’s music scene to Central Saint Martins and eventually filmmaking, and why she has always been drawn to outsiders and stories that sit outside the mainstream.  Carol’s latest film, 7 Miles Out will have its World Premiere in Official Competition at the BFI London Film Festival on 17th October That brings our BFI London Film Festival special to a close.
