E1: Nansen and the Crossing of Greenland

Dr. Fridtjof Nansen lived one of the most exciting and impactful lives you could imagine. Between leading some of the most daring expeditions in history and winning the Nobel Peace Prize as a diplomat, there are many stories worth telling.  In this episode, we accompany him on his first expedition that made him world-famous: The Crossing of Greenland.  Link to his entire report (starting on page 469): https://books.google.de/books/about/Proceedings_of_the_Royal_Geographical_So.html?id=qtkv4R-WYHcC&redir_esc=y
