Your Body Belongs to You: Consent, Sexual Violence and Changing the Culture

Your Body Belongs to You: Consent & Changing the Culture | P is for Pleasure Ep. 7 What would our culture look like if we treated bodily autonomy as something sacred? In this solo episode of P is for Pleasure, Tiana Hercules examines consent beyond the simple language of “yes” and “no”—and asks what it will actually take to build a culture in which people's boundaries are respected. Drawing from her perspective as an attorney, former criminal defense lawyer, mother raising both sons and a daughter, and a woman thinking deeply about sexual freedom, Tiana explores intoxication and consent, sexual choice without unlimited sexual access, accountability among men, the responsibility of institutions, and what we teach young people about their bodies and one another. Because choosing sex does not mean choosing every sexual act. Choosing one person does not mean choosing everyone. Being sexually liberated does not make someone less deserving of protection. And the freedom to say yes only means something when the freedom to say no is equally protected. This is a conversation about consent—but also about the culture we have inherited and the one we have the responsibility to create. Your body belongs to you. Always. Sensual Movement & Returning to the Body: With Fabiana Rendon

Maybe reconnecting with your body begins with movement. In this episode of P is for Pleasure, Tiana sits down with choreographer and movement artist Fabiana Rendon for a conversation about confidence, sensuality, expression, embodiment, and what it means to feel at home in your body again. Fabiana creates spaces for women to explore themselves through dance, and in Part One of our conversation, we talk about her journey into movement, what the body can express when words are not enough, and why so many women become disconnected from themselves. We explore the difference between sensuality and performance, what changes when a woman gives herself permission to take up space, and how movement can help us reconnect with parts of ourselves we may have silenced, judged, or forgotten. And this conversation doesn’t end in the chairs. In Part Two, once I’m fully healed from surgery, I’ll be stepping into the studio with Fabiana and taking one of her heels classes myself. Because P is for Pleasure was never intended to be only about discussing pleasure. We are here to practice it. Divorce & Diagnosis, Still Sexy, Still Standing with Hillary 'HoneyB' Brown

What happens when life changes the story you thought you were living? In this episode of P is for Pleasure, Tiana sits down with longtime friend Hillary ‘HoneyB’ Brown for an intimate, candid—and at times very funny—conversation about navigating enormous change while remaining unmistakably yourself. Hillary has spent nearly 20 years creating Beach Goddess retreats and experiences that uplift women, celebrate sisterhood, and encourage women to show up fully and unapologetically. But in this season, life has invited her to turn some of that care and attention inward. Divorce. A breast cancer diagnosis. A changing body. Love. Loss. Reinvention. And the question of who you become when the life you imagined begins to look very different. Together, Tiana and Hillary talk about friendship, relationships, self-love, pleasure, body image, starting over, and what it means to continue wanting more for yourself—even while moving through circumstances you never would have chosen. This isn't simply a conversation about surviving difficult things. It's about becoming. About allowing yourself to grieve what was while remaining curious about what could be. And about discovering that change doesn't have to make you smaller, quieter, or less yourself. In this conversation: • Navigating divorce and the end of a relationship • Receiving and processing a breast cancer diagnosis • Body changes, femininity and self-image • Friendship and the women who hold us through transition • Self-love and self-pleasure • Dating, desire and intimacy after major life changes • Nearly 20 years of creating Beach Goddess experiences for women • Starting over without losing yourself • Becoming the woman you want to be in this next chapter What has a season of unexpected change taught you about yourself? Tell us in the comments. If this conversation resonates, like, subscribe and share it with a woman who may need it. Beyond the Headlines: JetSetting Jasmine on Motherhood, Womanhood & Living Authentically

Every woman has a story beyond the headlines. In Episode 3 of P is for Pleasure, I sit down with JetSetting Jasmine for a conversation that goes far beyond what people may expect. Long before she became one of the most recognizable voices in adult entertainment and sexual wellness, Jasmine was a woman learning how to embrace the fullness of who she is—mother, wife, entrepreneur, creator, and woman. We talk about raising children while building an unconventional business, navigating public perception, creating a marriage and family life outside of traditional expectations, and what it means to choose authenticity when the world is constantly trying to define you. What surprised me most about this conversation is how little we actually talked about the adult entertainment industry. Instead, we talked about womanhood. We talked about motherhood, identity, partnership, ambition, judgment, freedom, and the courage it takes to build a life that feels true to you—even when that life does not fit neatly inside other people’s expectations. This episode reveals the depth, tenderness, intelligence, humor, and range of a woman who is too often reduced to one part of her story. Because none of us should be defined by the headline people find easiest to understand. In this episode, we explore: • Motherhood while building an unconventional career • Raising children with honesty and intention • Marriage, partnership, and evolving together • Navigating judgment and public perception • Entrepreneurship and creating your own lane • The difference between authenticity and performance • Giving yourself permission to live beyond traditional expectations • What pleasure, freedom, and self-acceptance can actually look like If this conversation resonates with you, subscribe to P is for Pleasure, like the episode, and share it with a woman who deserves permission to live more fully as herself. And tell me in the comments: What part of yourself have you had to reclaim from other people’s expectations? Self Esteem Sexuality and Choosing Yourself with Dr. Donna Oriowo

Healthy self-esteem changes everything—including how we love, choose, receive, set boundaries, and experience pleasure. In this episode of P is for Pleasure, Tiana Hercules sits down with Dr. Donna Oriowo, licensed clinical social worker, certified sex and relationship therapist, speaker, and bestselling author, for a powerful conversation about self-esteem, sexuality, body image, relationships, and what Black women may finally be ready to put down. Dr. Donna has dedicated her work to helping Black women heal the relationship they have with themselves, and in this conversation she brings both clinical insight and cultural truth to the table. We talk about the impact of racialized beauty standards, the difference between confidence and healthy self-esteem, how our relationships can reflect what we believe we deserve, and why boundaries, pleasure, and self-worth are deeply connected. We also explore lessons from her book, Drink Water and Mind Your Business, including why “minding your business” is not about disengaging from the world—it is about learning where your energy belongs and returning more of it to yourself. This episode is honest, funny, affirming, and full of the kind of wisdom that may have you pausing, rewinding, and taking notes. Rebuilding Yourself & Reinventing Pleasure Technology with Morgan Hewett

What if rebuilding yourself is the greatest thing you will ever build? In this episode of P is for Pleasure, Tiana Hercules sits down with Morgan Hewett—The Pink Founder and visionary behind Devin, an AI-powered pleasure companion—for a deeply personal conversation about women in tech, entrepreneurship, pleasure, survival, resilience, and reinvention.I expected us to spend most of our time talking about artificial intelligence, Harvard Business School, building companies, and the future of pleasure technology. We certainly go there. But the conversation became something much bigger.Morgan opens up about what it took not only to build companies, but to rebuild herself after domestic violence, mental health challenges, and seasons that demanded she fight for her own life and future. One of my favorite moments in our conversation came when I told her:“You’ve built companies—but first, you rebuilt yourself.”We explore what happens when innovation meets intimacy, why women deserve to be architects of the technology being created around our bodies and pleasure, the idea of technology as a kind of “modern-day magic,” and what becomes possible when a woman refuses to allow her most difficult chapter to become her final one.In this episode, we talk about:Morgan’s Sexy Superhero Origin StoryBecoming The Pink FounderBuilding DevinArtificial intelligence and pleasure technologyWomen as creators—not simply consumers—of sexual wellness technologyEntrepreneurship and Harvard Business SchoolSurviving domestic violenceMental health and rebuilding after crisisResilience, reinvention, and choosing a future for yourself“Modern-day magic”What pleasure means when you have had to fight to reclaim your lifeThis conversation ultimately asks a bigger question: Who are you capable of becoming when survival is no longer the only goal?If Morgan’s story resonated with you, tell us in the comments:What have you had to rebuild in order to become the woman you are now?Subscribe to P is for Pleasure on YouTube for intimate conversations with women exploring pleasure, identity, healing, ambition, sexuality, embodiment, reinvention, and the lives we are choosing to create for ourselves.Because pleasure isn’t a luxury.
