Santosh Savel and Brandon Ratay · MindOverMoney.ai

Two professionals working through AI out loud, from different ends of the same shift. One of us builds practical AI tools and workflows. One of us applies AI inside marketing, communications, and business strategy. Neither of us is teaching the other, and that is the point. Every episode: something one of us tried, built, or got wrong. A founder's-eye look at a real decision. And the AI developments worth your time, tied to something you could actually do. Plain English, working examples, honest disagreement. No hype, no doom. New episodes every other Tuesday. Presented by MindOverMoney.ai

We Built a Podcast Tool With AI. Here’s What We Learned.

What happens when two people who aren’t software engineers try to build the tool their podcast needs? Santosh Savel and Brandon Ratay take you inside Cliptool, the AI-assisted project that grew from a social-clipping idea into a podcast production workflow. Santosh brings a focus on solving workflow problems. Brandon brings more than a decade of broadcast production experience and a keen eye for the editing details that shape the final product. Together, they explain what they had to learn, where human review still matters, and why getting AI to generate code is only part of the work. In Founder’s Corner, they discuss “There Is No Such Thing as an AI Expert” and the shift from learning about AI to building something with it. Brandon shares how the process changed his sense of what he could do, and Santosh offers a practical starting point: find a problem at home and try solving it. Then, in AI Around the Globe, they discuss Google’s expansion of Gemini in Classroom to students of all ages when access is enabled by their school administrator, along with the PORTS-Pike infrastructure project in Ohio and the questions these developments raise for teachers, parents and local communities. In this episode: How a social-clipping idea grew into a larger production tool. What happened when transcript review created too much manual work. How editing experience and workflow judgment shape an AI-assisted build. Why experimenting can teach you things that reading and courses alone cannot. Where AI could support classrooms—and why community concerns matter when building data centers.
