Episode 37: Multitasking vs. Single-Tasking ( The Hidden Cost of Doing Everything at Once)

Episode 37: Multitasking vs. Single-Tasking ( The Hidden Cost of Doing Everything at Once) Are you really productive when you do several things at once, or are you simply keeping yourself busy? In Episode 37 of The Dr. Rajendra Maurya Show, we explore the difference between multitasking and single-tasking, and how constantly switching between activities can affect our time, concentration, and productivity. I also share a simple experiment I conducted using just a pen and paper. Writing two tasks separately took me 19 seconds, while switching between them took 42 seconds. In another test, completing three tasks one after another took 40 seconds, compared with 121 seconds when I alternated between them. These were my personal experiment results, not a formal scientific study, but they offered me a valuable lesson: giving one task your full attention may be more effective than constantly switching between multiple tasks. 🎧 In this episode, you'll discover: Why being busy doesn't always mean being productive. The hidden cost of constantly switching tasks. How single-tasking can improve focus and work quality. Five practical ways to reduce distractions. How to be more present at work and in personal relationships. Remember, success isn't about doing everything at once. It's about giving the right things your attention at the right time. Listen, reflect, and start practising focused action today! The Dr. Rajendra Maurya Show — Think Better. Live Better. Episode 30: Dare to Think

Episode 30: Dare to Think Do you really make your own decisions? Or are your choices influenced by society, fear, traditions, expectations, and the opinions of others? Dare to Think is a motivational and personal-development episode about developing the courage to think independently, question your beliefs, challenge your limitations, and consciously create your own path. We all think—but do we truly think for ourselves? From childhood, we are given ideas about what is possible, what success looks like, what career we should choose, and how we should live. Over time, some of these beliefs can become invisible limitations. Personal growth begins when we start asking better questions: Why do I believe this?Could there be another way?Is this really what I want?Or am I simply doing what everyone else expects me to do? This episode explores the courage to question, the importance of curiosity and open-mindedness, the fear of “What will people say?”, and the power of writing the next chapter of your life consciously. Remember: The fear of failure can stop you—but the regret of never trying can stay with you much longer. So don't just dream. Dare to think.Dare to question.Dare to think differently. And then dare to act. 🎧 Listen to Episode 30 — Dare to Think and ask yourself: “If I didn't have to impress anyone, how would I live my life?” — Dr. Rajendra Kumar Maurya #DareToThink #DrRajendraMaurya #TheDrRajendraMauryaShow #Motivation #PersonalDevelopment #PersonalGrowth #SelfDevelopment #SelfImprovement #Mindset #GrowthMindset #PositiveThinking #SelfAwareness #ThinkDifferent #ThinkBig #IndependentThinking #BelieveInYourself #LifeLessons #LifeTransformation #SuccessMindset #MotivationalPodcast #Inspiration #DreamBig #TakeAction #InnerGrowth #Purpose #Courage #MentalStrength #Leadership #MotivationPodcast #Podcast
