Chapter 14: The cave

Chapter 14: The Cave Four new recruits are sent into the mountains with no weapons and one rule: come back together, or don't come back at all. What starts as a test of nerve turns into something stranger when the cave itself starts playing tricks on the mind — and the thing waiting at the summit already knows their names. A reunion nobody wanted, a brother with his own war to fight, and a question that follows them all the way home: who do you trust when the person leading you won't tell you why?

Chapter 13: The Power of the Phoenix

The Power of the Phoenix A city empties out at sunrise — and the Empire doesn't wait for them to finish. When the attack hits, Isaiah and his forces are thrown straight into a swarm of creatures that shouldn't exist, dodging bullets with inhuman precision. Isaiah holds the wall. Alina seals an entire wave of them into a single card — and pays for it instantly. Yukimura cuts through the rest like he was born for this. Then something worse crawls out of the wreckage. A five-legged horror with a tongue that swallows soldiers whole, and the only person who can stop it is a stranger nobody's seen fight before — a man with golden eyes and a phoenix tattoo who just saved an entire division and doesn't know why his fire works one second and vanishes the next. The crowd wants a hero. He's not sure he is one. By the fire that night, a quiet conversation unravels more than anyone expected — a father who was supposed to be dead, a king who switched sides more than once, and a secret this soldier's been carrying since the day he picked up a sword that was never really his own.

Chapter 12: The Heroes of West City

A city under siege. A blockade that doesn't tell the whole story. When Yukimura, Alina, and Faith talk their way past a line of White Knights, they discover West City isn't being evacuated — it's at war. Gunfire. Explosions. Civilians running for their lives. And in the middle of it, three fighters who shouldn't even be there decide to stay and help anyway. Yukimura moves like a ghost across the front lines. Alina turns the sky itself into a shield. Faith just tries to keep up — and keep everyone alive. But someone's watching from the enemy's side. A commander who isn't interested in scouting reports anymore. He's hunting one person specifically — and he's not wrong to. As the tide of battle turns, the wounded start flooding in faster than anyone can save them — and one face in the wreckage changes everything. Then a stranger steps out of the chaos with a warning about the Empire, a grudge against the people Yukimura trusts, and a question that lands closer to home than he expects. By the time the sun goes down on West City, nothing about this war — or this team — looks the same.

Chapter 11: The First Ally

Alina has finally made it outside the palace walls, and for the first time in her life she feels free. When she and Yukimura reach the busy harbor city of Portland, one kind gesture to a ragged street kid costs Alina the one thing she can't afford to lose: her key. Getting it back means chasing a silver-haired thief named Faith through the city with the White Knights close behind. Then Faith lets slip a name nobody is supposed to know: The Order, a secret resistance fighting the Empire. A new promise gets made, a new ally is pulled in against his will, and Yukimura comes a little closer to admitting what he really wants.

Chapter 9: The Angel of Death

Noel wakes up healed from wounds that should have killed him, only to find himself pulled deeper into Lyon's grip — a telepathic bond that costs him blood just to maintain. Alongside Jewel, the healer who refuses to leave his side no matter how much danger it puts her in, Noel is sent to the ruined Soul Temple to hunt down the last surviving Phantom Knight, Matt Champion. What follows is a tense, atmospheric journey through the massacre's aftermath and a duel between two of the story's most dangerous Soul Crescents — one that ends with a devastating new technique and a question neither Noel nor Jewel can quite look away from: how much of himself is Noel still in control of? This episode covers the full chapter — the reunion, the horror at the temple, the fight, and the quiet, unsettling moment after Lyon checks back in

Chapter 8: Another Soul

In this episode, we dive into Chapter 8 of Class of Kings: "Another Soul." Neo finally assigns Phantom Ranks to his students — and the results don't sit well with everyone. But the quiet morning at the Grand Prix hotel shatters when Jenny is snatched off the street by a masked rider on a black bike, forcing Neo into a high-speed chase across the city and into the mountains. What follows is a brutal duel with a mysterious young Soul Crescent user — and a reveal that changes what Neo's students think they know about the enemies they're up against. As Jenny slips into a coma, Isaac has to go where no one else can follow: into her own mind, to convince her to come back. Join us as we break down the chapter's big reveals, the ranking system's hidden meaning, and what Neo's past finally starts to tell us about the war still to come.

Chapter 7: The First Team of Phantom Knights

"Before he's a soldier, Isaac is just a kid who can't move a boulder no matter how hard he tries — while his friends' powers seem to come easily. But when the group reaches the merchant city of Volt, a rescue gone wrong throws him together with Evan, a boy searching for his own missing father. What starts as one impulsive decision to help a stranger becomes the first real test of what kind of Phantom Knight Isaac is going to be — and the beginning of a friendship neither of them saw coming."
