Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. There's a bunch of DND adventures I want to try out so I'll be playing all the characters and using the dice to guide the story. I'm using published/pre-written adventures at least for now. Also starting with DND 5E but will try out new systems when I can (some PF2E APs I also want to try). Alones-y! pays homage to Doctor Who and Powerpuff Girls Recording because I prefer this over the journaling method of solo TTRPG so hey might as well share it :) Follow along as I try to tell a story while learning the mechanics ehe youtube: @viatrix

Beechburton Day Trip! | Ep. 8 Alonesy! [solo dnd]

We're back with a new adventure! AND we're level 3 yayy! I struggled with this one as the triple-os of the characters definitely veered off of the written adventure lmao . Sorry for the delay I got busy and prioritized the gaming videos but we're so back!! the adventure is called The Hound of Cabell Manor by Winghorn Press! available on DMsGuild (pay what you want; https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/195423/the-hound-of-cabell-s-tomb-a-basic-rules-adventure) 00:00 intro and housekeeping 03:45 adventure starts Cast: Caelum | High Elf | Paladin Oath of Devotion Celestine | Court Aasimar | Bard College of Lore Cinna | Earth Genasi | Fighter Battlemaster omg i spotted an editing error lmao if you noticed it you didnt ;-; ----- Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. I love using Doctor Who to have a reason to explore multiverses as well as take on different companions regularly, as well as the "regeneration" plot cheat. And for Powerpuff Girls, my main cast is a trio inspired by them, and that's about it. House of the Haunting Hymn | A Solo Pathfinder 2E Beginner Box Adventure

In this BONUS episode, we take a break from DnD and try out the PF2E Beginner Box Solo Adventure (CYOA style). I love that they have this included in the beginner box to at least show the mechanics of the game. CYOAs are definitely railroady but are a good way to teach a new system. Look forward to an actual play with the PF2E (or even Starfinder) sytem soon hehe ----- Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. Cinna's Solo Job (Escorting a Mirage) | Ep. 7 Alonesy! [solo dnd]

After three episodes of Caelum and Celestine, we finally check in on Cinna and she's kept herself quite busy. I enjoyed this one a lot actually, the search points and chase mechanics made it feel different than just combat. Also our first interaction with a certain faction! We have 2 major factions that we have interacted with now! Again, this is originally an adventure from Pathfinder 2E converted to DND and for a solo player (Title: Escorting a Mirage Series 2 Quest 17). Had to rebalance the last bit slightly in the middle of the adventure though lmao 00:00 intro and errata 04:30 adventure starts Cast: Cinna | Earth Genasi | Fighter Featuring: Pallomar | Half-Orc | Lv1 Bard Sidekick ----- Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. Exiting Fistandia's Mansion (TJoES #3) | Ep. 6 Alonesy! [solo dnd: candlekeep mysteries]

We finally finish the first Candlekeep Mysteries adventure!! It is quite beginner friendly (both player and DM wise) but I do hope future adventures in this anthology will be more fun than this because as someone who is not a huge fan of dungeon crawls (I don't hate them I quite like combat but dungeon crawl specifically is not my favorite genre of adventures), this was definitely one but in a mansion. A mansion crawl I guess. And we get a Candlekeep connection yay! I wonder what Cinna is up to? Exploring Extradimensional Spaces (TJoES #2) | Ep. 5 Alonesy! [solo dnd: candlekeep mysteries]

The crew makes themselves feel at home in this extradimensional mansion. I'm also struggling to budget my spell slots for heals. But hey that's the challenge. The Joy of Extradimensional Spaces #1 | Ep. 4 Alonesy! [solo dnd: candlekeep mysteries]

Hello again! I think this can totally be a standalone episode if you just wanted to see what the Joy of Extradimensional Spaces from Candlekeep Mysteries would be like hehe. I did change some parts though but I would say it's like 90% the same. Candlekeep Mysteries is probably my favorite among the anthology DND books (just based on theme and premise) so you can be sure that I'll also be doing th erest of the adventures in this campaign. Trollskull Manor + A Most Potent Brew | Ep. 2 Alonesy! [solo dnd]

Sorry I wasn't able to follow up on what I said and put battle maps (in video in spotify/youtube) I didn't have time to edit ;-; theatre of the mind still babyyy In this episode, our trio realizes that getting a property from Volo is not as simple as it sounds. They now have to save up for the repairs and renovations and would have to do odd jobs here and there (yay quests). We also start A Most Potent Brew in this episode which is a good beginner adventure for new DMs and players alike. I honestly thought I could get this adventure done in an hour but combat always surprises me by how much time it actually takes even if I am playing alone. Also, apologies for the changing in perspective in narration. I'm still not sure if I'm more comfortable with third person or second person (the group sees vs you see...) seeing as I am playing solo haha I'l settle in on one of those eventually. Cast: Caelum | High Elf | Paladin Celestine | Court Aasimar | Bard Cinna | Earth Genasi | Fighter You can find A Most Potent Brew in DMsguild (pay what you want): https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/186488/a-most-potent-brew-a-basic-rules-adventure?sorttest=true ----- Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast. A Friend in Need | Ep. 1 Alonesy! [solo dnd: waterdeep dragon heist]

We start in the city of Waterdeep doing the first chapter of the official DND adventure Waterdeep Dragon Heist! I will finish the whole adventure eventually but I will also be doing a bunch of other quests in between once my party has established their base of operations. The intro was supposed to be the trio saying the different lines but i think i wasn't able to distinguish cinna and caelum's voice that much haha Also, this is my first official DND session ever weee (not including a bunch of solo choose your own adventure style ones that i never finished haha) Cast: Caelum | High Elf | Paladin Celestine | Court Aasimar | Bard Cinna | Earth Genasi | Fighter [post publish notes] things i have learned since recording: pass w/o trace is only accessible by earth genasi at 5th level woops ----- Alones-y! is my solo ttrpg podcast.
