Entry 16: Am I doing this to be seen, or am I doing this to be of use?

Taking Up Space Without Being "Bida-Bida": Presence vs. Performance Tonight, we open the page to the delicate line between showing up fully and crossing over into the performative noise everyone dreads. If you’ve spent so much time fearing the "bida-bida" label that you shrink under desks and dim your light or if you’ve wondered how to lead and serve without feeding your ego grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • The stark difference between quiet competence and holding lecture halls hostage for validation during recitation • Stepping up in group projects without adopting a savior complex or suffocating the room • The ethics of community volunteering: doing the unglamorous ground work versus turning other people's vulnerability into an aesthetic photo dump You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Entry 15: People don't leave because you lacked something; they leave because they were never looking for what you brought to the table.

The Comparison Trap: "What Did She Have That I Didn’t?" Tonight, we open the page to one of the most agonizing, self-destructive questions a heart can ask after a sudden ending or replacement: "What did she have that I didn’t?" If you’ve been caught in a late-night spiral scrolling through a stranger's profile, analyzing her posts, and turning another girl into a cruel checklist of your supposed failures, grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • Dismantling the toxic lie of the "missing ingredient," and why love was never an auction where the highest bidder wins • The painful 2 AM comparison loop that pits your messy, vulnerable reality against someone else's curated highlight reel • The liberating truth about timing, empty slates, and reclaiming the depth, loyalty, and peace you almost compromised away You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Be gentle with your heart, Sincerely, Reese 🤍

Entry 14: Proximity is just an assignment; genuine friendship is a mutual choice.

The "Block" Is Not Your Family: Letting Go of Forced Closeness Tonight, we open the page to the quiet, exhausting guilt of feeling like you have to make a family out of people who were only ever assigned to you by an enrollment algorithm. If you’ve been sitting in crowded hallways feeling completely invisible, swallowing disrespect, and carrying group projects all to protect the illusion of a "solid block," grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • Dismantling the institutional pressure of block culture, and why sharing a classroom code or section name does not obligate you to share your soul • The silent burnout of hallway performances, group chat gossip, and paying for other people's comfort with your own emotional exhaustion • The liberating peace of choosing discernment over forced belonging learning to be kind in the room you’re in while only building a home with those who handle your heart with care You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Be gentle with your heart, Sincerely, Reese 🤍

Entry 13 : A desert will always complain that the rain is too heavy.

The Anxious-Avoidant Trap: When Safe Care Felt Like Suffocation Tonight, we open the page to the heartbreaking tragedy of an anxious-avoidant collision, and the agonizing guilt of being told your love was "too much" for someone who only knew how to run. If you’ve survived real storms only to be made to feel like an emotional burden for needing basic clarity, direction, and consistency, grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • The clash between a survivor’s trauma-informed anxious heart seeking safety and an avoidant partner's shield of detachment and revolving-door flings • The deep humiliation of being labeled "suffocating" for checking in, and dismantling the toxic guilt that makes you want to shrink your ocean into a cup • Forgiving yourself for caring loudly, and realizing that your tenderness was never the defect it was simply given to someone too small to hold it You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Be gentle with your heart, Sincerely, Reese 🤍

Entry 13 : A desert will always complain that the rain is too heavy.

Entry Special 2: Loving you has always felt less like a leap into the dark, and more like finally coming home.

To the One Who Taught Me What Softness Feels Like Tonight, we open the page to a quiet, open-hearted letter meant for the one person who makes the whole world feel a little lighter to carry. If you’ve spent so long being the strong one, the safe harbor for everyone else, and the person who always holds things together tonight is just a soft reminder that you are allowed to lean back and be taken care of, too. Grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • The quiet miracle of finding a safe place in someone’s presence without ever having to perform, pretend, or hide your rough edges • How steady, uncomplicated affection quietly dismantles the old habit of waiting for the other shoe to drop • A tender thank you for the shared laughter, the patient understanding, and the effortless peace of simply doing life together You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Be gentle with your heart, Sincerely, Reese 🤍

Entry Special 2: Loving you has always felt less like a leap into the dark, and more like finally coming home.

Entry 12: Faith never asks you to beg for what is divinely yours.

When Someone Leaves: Learning to Trust What Faith Brings Next Tonight, we open the page to that devastating, hollow ache that settles in your chest when someone decides to pack up their feelings and walk away. If you’ve been sitting in the dark at 2:30 AM, scrolling through old photos, tearing your own worth apart, and feeling like their exit was an indictment of your value, grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • Deconstructing the cultural conditioning that romanticizes suffering and convinces us that love is meant to feel like a constant audition • The exhausting 2 AM spiral of bargaining with silence, visiting the museum of what broke you, and confusing familiar pain for real safety • Reframing someone's departure not as a personal failure, but as faith quietly clearing dead roots so your hands are empty enough to receive a love that chooses you araw-araw You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Be gentle with your heart, Sincerely, Reese 🤍

Entry 11: Can you sit across a cafe table with nothing but your own thoughts and actually enjoy your own company?

Solo Dates & the Power of Spending Time with Yourself Tonight, we open the page to the quiet art of deliberate solitude and discovering that being on your own was never meant to be a punishment. If you’ve felt that instinctive knot of panic or awkwardness whenever you're left without company hiding behind a screen, staying tethered to group chats, or drowning out the silence just to avoid facing yourself grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • Untangling peaceful solitude from the sting of loneliness, and stepping out from behind social panic and mindless scrolling • The gentle progression of solo dates: taking micro-steps from quick coffee runs to sitting alone for a full meal or wandering an art gallery • Uncovering your own unfiltered preferences without anyone else’s opinion swaying the vote, and how romancing yourself quietly raises the bar for the energy you allow into your life You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Be gentle with your heart, Sincerely, Reese 🤍

Entry 10: Where there is smoke, you don't stay to see how badly you can burn.

Red Flags That Are Actually Red Flags: Stop Making Excuses for the SmokeTonight, we open the page to the quiet realization that you need to stop running unpaid PR for someone who treats you like an afterthought. If you’ve been rationalizing gut-wrenching behaviors, making endless excuses for subtle disrespect, and second-guessing your own intuition just to keep the peace, grab something warm to drink, settle in, and let your shoulders drop. In this entry, we talk through: • The dangerous illusions of love bombing and "Schrödinger’s Joke" where intense early promises trap you and cruelty hides behind "just teasing" • Unpacking weaponized incompetence and the DARVO cycle (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender) that turns you into your partner's unpaid parent and apologist • Navigating the blurred line between genuine privacy and deliberate secrecy, and stepping into the radical self-respect of leaving at the very first sign of smoke You don’t have to carry it all tonight. Be gentle with your heart, Sincerely, Reese 🤍
