Welcome to 'Conversations with Photographers Like You,' a podcast from Yorkshire Photo Walks. Make sure you subscribe to not miss a single episode! Over six episodes, professional photographer and photography tutor Tom Marsh, interviews photographers who simply practice the medium purely for the love of the process. They are not household names but each of them have really interesting stories to tell. In episode one, we will hear from Alison Taylor, a landscape photographer, who loves to photograph watery features. In episode two Tom meets Neil Horsley, relatively new to photography he has used his experience as a town planner to document re-purposed buildings.  In episode 3 Tom chats with Wendy Robinson, who loves to embark on projects that take her on a journey. They discuss her Aire Miles project, following the 90 miles of the River Aire through Yorkshire, documenting every single mile in photographs. Episode 4 takes us to a park on the outskirts of Leeds as Andrew Winfield talks about his organic, observational approach to photography, training his camera on his life experiences and capturing them from his own unique perspective.  In episode 5 Tom meets Jocelyn Baldwin, at home in an urban jungle, she loves to concentrate on patterns and multiple exposures to share a fascinating abstract view on the world.  And in episode 6 Tom chats with Andy Burns, who loves to photograph people. Whether it is event photography or candid street photography, he heads out to capture the unique spontaneity of human life Together, we'll celebrate the little wins, empathise with the frustrations, learn from the mistakes, and hopefully remind ourselves that the journey is every bit as rewarding as the destination. The first episode with Alison Taylor will drop at mid-day on Sunday 4th October, alongside a YouTube video, where Alison will share her approach to and guidance for photographing waterfalls. So, whether you've just picked up a camera or you've been photographing for years, settle in over the next six weeks and join Yorkshire Photo Walks for Conversations with Photographers Like You.
