National Centre for Social Research

ATTITUDES is the podcast about what Britain really thinks. Hosted by Mark Easton, Senior Fellow at The National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) and former BBC Home Editor, each episode takes a headline finding from some of the UK's most robust social research and explores what it reveals about the way we think, live and see the world. From artificial intelligence to taxation, cannabis to nuclear energy, Mark and expert guests dig beneath the headlines to uncover what evidence tells us about public attitudes over time. At a time when public debate is often shaped by assumptions, ATTITUDES brings evidence to the conversation. Drawing on more than 40 years of research from NatCen, the UK's largest independent social research organisation, the series reveals how public attitudes are changing and challenges what we think we know about Britain. Join us as we go beyond the numbers and discover what Britain really thinks. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
