Do Jews Really Control the World? Messianic Rabbi Jason Sobel Responds

Is modern Israel the same Israel we read about in the Bible? And how should Christians respond to the controversy surrounding the Jewish people today? In this episode of Faith Mobilized, Rabbi Jason Sobel returns to tackle some of the most difficult questions surrounding Israel, Zionism, Jewish ancestry, and biblical prophecy. From the Khazar theory and the meaning of the “Synagogue of Satan” to claims about Jewish influence in politics and media, we explore the history, Scripture, and competing narratives behind these conversations. Abortion Isn't Just a Women's Issue. Where Are the Men? | with Sean Corcoran

For decades, men have been told to stay out of the abortion conversation. But what happens when fathers are pushed aside, masculinity becomes confused with silence, and men stop taking responsibility? Sean Corcoran, CEO of Men for Life, joins David to challenge the way our culture thinks about abortion, fatherhood, and what it truly means to be a man. At just 19 years old, Sean's girlfriend had an abortion despite his desire to become a father. When he sought help, he was told the experience shouldn't affect him because he was a man. What followed was a devastating spiral into addiction, homelessness, and eventually a journey of recovery that changed the direction of his life. Today, Sean is challenging men to reclaim their responsibility as fathers, husbands, and leaders. Together, David and Sean explore why young men are turning to figures like Andrew Tate, the difference between toxic and biblical masculinity, why male silence can leave women feeling abandoned, and the overlooked role fathers play in the abortion debate. Have we confused being a supportive man with being a passive one? And what would happen if men started taking responsibility again? This conversation challenges men and women alike to rethink masculinity, fatherhood, and what it means to stand for life. 00:00 The Role Men Play in Abortion 00:55 Introducing Sean Corcoran 02:54 How Abortion Changed Sean's Life 08:55 The Emotional Impact on Fathers 10:15 Addiction, Homelessness, and Rock Bottom 13:01 Rebuilding His Life and Family 17:29 Why Abortion Isn't Just a Women's Issue 21:39 What Is Biblical Masculinity? 26:13 Toxic Masculinity vs Biblical Masculinity 38:06 Becoming the Father Your Children Need 42:41 Has Modern Masculinity Failed Women? 46:51 Why Men Are Turning to Andrew Tate 53:34 How Pregnancy Centers Support Families 56:20 The Influence Fathers Have on Abortion Decisions 57:28 The Problem With Your Body, Your Choice 1:03:18 What Should the Church Be Doing About Abortion? 1:15:11 What Does the Bible Say About Life in the Womb? 1:20:16 How Men Can Get Involved #FaithMobilized #Masculinity #Abortion #Fatherhood #Christianity

We're Seeing a Christian Revival in America. But There's One Huge Problem

More people are expressing interest in Jesus and the Bible, yet biblical understanding and discipleship remain major concerns within the Church. If spiritual hunger is growing, why aren't we seeing more transformation in the way Christians live? In this episode of *Faith Mobilized*, David Blease sits down with evangelist and international speaker Nick Vujicic, who has shared the gospel in 89 countries, to discuss the spiritual condition of America and whether the Church is truly preparing believers to live out their faith. Drawing from his experiences around the world, Nick shares why he believes the Church has become too focused on attendance, conversions, and Sunday services while neglecting the responsibility to make disciples. He challenges pastors and believers to look beyond church growth and consider how their faith is making a difference in their communities throughout the week. But what does biblical discipleship actually look like? Are churches equipping young people to navigate the challenges they face? And how should Christians approach divisive issues without compromising truth or compassion? David and Nick address some of today's most difficult conversations, including abortion, Islam, Israel, religious freedom, and the Church's responsibility to engage politically. Nick also explains why he believes Christians must move beyond simply expressing their convictions and begin demonstrating God's love through practical action. Throughout the conversation, they explore the importance of biblical literacy, personal evangelism, and raising a generation of believers who understand their faith well enough to share it with others. Ultimately, Nick challenges Christians to consider whether they're simply attending church or actively fulfilling the Great Commission. *Faith Mobilized* exists to help pastors, leaders, and believers navigate the most divisive issues of our day with biblical clarity while balancing truth and compassion. --- 00:00 Introduction 03:47 Is America Experiencing a Spiritual Revival? 08:03 Why the Church Needs to Return to the Basics 13:33 Have We Prioritized Conversion Over Discipleship? 17:39 What Does a Healthy Church Actually Look Like? 22:06 What Jiu-Jitsu Can Teach Us About Discipleship 26:45 Equipping Christians to Share Their Faith 30:58 Balancing Truth and Compassion 32:15 Abortion and the Church's Responsibility 39:18 How Should Christians Approach Islam? 49:59 How Should Christians Respond to Israel? 55:23 Navigating Disagreement with Wisdom 1:02:26 Nick's Concerns About America's Future 1:03:59 How to Mobilize Your Faith

Why Pastors SHOULD Talk About Politics From the Pulpit

Politics, sexuality, religious freedom, and the role of the Church in culture have become some of the most controversial issues facing Christians today. While many pastors would rather avoid these conversations, the questions aren't going away. So how should the Church respond when biblical beliefs collide with cultural expectations? In this episode of *Faith Mobilized*, David Blease sits down with Pastor Travis Johnson, lead pastor of Pathway Church in Mobile, Alabama, to discuss why he believes pastors cannot afford to remain silent on the issues shaping our society. Travis never intended to become a politically engaged pastor. But when local officials attempted to stop his church from conducting baptisms at a public beach in Miami, he found himself confronting questions about religious freedom and the Church's place in public life. Years later, a prayer at a Mobile City Council meeting sparked another controversy. Travis shares how his comments led to public criticism, threats against his family, and demands for an apology. Rather than backing down, he stood by his beliefs, eventually joining other local pastors to address the issues facing their city. But should pastors address political issues from the pulpit? What happens when biblical teachings on marriage, sexuality, and human identity create conflict? And are churches compromising their responsibility to make disciples when they avoid difficult passages of Scripture? David and Travis explore these questions while discussing the pressures of church leadership, the fear of losing members, and how Travis's experiences eventually opened doors to conversations in Washington, D.C., and beyond. At the heart of this conversation is a challenging question: Have churches become so focused on building bigger crowds that they've neglected the responsibility to make disciples? *Faith Mobilized* exists to help pastors, leaders, and believers navigate the most divisive issues of our day with biblical clarity while balancing truth and compassion. --- 00:00 Introduction 02:31 Meet Pastor Travis Johnson 04:17 How Travis Found His Calling to Ministry 13:08 Rebuilding a Church After Hurricane Andrew 18:55 Why Pastors Can't Avoid Politics 19:31 When Beach Baptisms Became a Religious Freedom Battle 25:12 Standing Up for Religious Freedom 28:03 Navigating Cultural Controversy as a Pastor 31:10 The Prayer That Sparked Controversy in Mobile 34:29 Refusing to Apologize for His Beliefs 38:29 How Local Pastors Came Together 42:32 From Local Controversy to the White House 48:41 Why Churches Avoid Difficult Topics 51:19 Should Pastors Address Political Issues? 54:05 The Fear of Losing Church Members 58:40 Preaching Without Compromising 1:05:50 What Does It Cost to Stand for Your Faith? 1:10:20 A Call for Faithfulness and Courage 1:11:31 The Danger of Following Jesus from a Distance 1:13:45 Closing Thoughts

Messianic Rabbi Jason Sobel: The Truth About Christianity, Judaism & Israel

Few topics are more divisive, emotional, and explosive in the Church and the world today than Israel and the Jewish people. But for Christians, this isn’t a subject we can simply avoid. Israel, the Jewish people, and God’s covenant promises are woven throughout Scripture. So how should followers of Jesus understand them? In this episode of Faith Mobilized, David Blease sits down with Messianic Rabbi Jason Sobel, bestselling author and historical and theological consultant for The Chosen, to tackle the theology behind some of the hardest and most misunderstood passages in the Bible. Jason shares his journey from growing up Jewish to believing in Jesus as the Messiah, then explains why understanding the Jewish roots of Christianity can transform the way we read Scripture. As Jason puts it, without that context, we can be reading the Bible in “standard definition” instead of seeing it in high definition. Then we go straight to the difficult verses. What does Paul mean when he says there is “neither Jew nor Gentile”? Who is the “Israel of God”? Did the Church become the new Israel? What does Romans 9–11 actually teach? What does it mean that Gentile believers have been grafted in? And if Jewish people rejected Jesus, are God’s covenant promises to Israel still in effect? Rather than avoiding these passages, David and Jason walk through them in their biblical, historical, and Jewish context, exploring Galatians 3, Galatians 6, Romans 9–11, Ephesians, the Abrahamic covenant, replacement theology, Jew and Gentile, and the relationship between Israel and the Church. And underneath all of these questions is an even bigger one: Can God be trusted to keep His promises? Jason explains why God’s faithfulness to His covenant promises to Israel ultimately reveals something about God’s character and His faithfulness to every believer. Whether you’ve studied this subject for years or have never understood why Israel and the Jewish roots of Christianity matter, this conversation will challenge you to open the Bible, wrestle with the difficult passages, and seek biblical clarity with both truth and compassion.
