In today's episode, a short-order cook sees three creatures holding a sparking wand on the side of a road in 1955. Seventeen years later, two cops see something on the same stretch of river. One of them shoots it three times and it sticks its tongue out at him. He spends the next fifty years telling two different stories about what it was, and each version makes less sense than the last. His partner, before he died, disagreed with both. Then a Pokémon Go player finds the monster again in 2016. Ohio is now one vote away from making it the first legally recognized state cryptid in U.S. history.

On the night of September 5th, 1964, a welder from a classified missile program got stranded alone in a pine tree in the Tahoe National Forest. What showed up beneath that tree wasn't a bear. Two humanoid figures in silvery suits stood below him... cooing like doves. Then a robot with glowing red eyes and an oven door mouth shot white vapor up into the tree and knocked him unconscious. He fought back with arrows, burning clothes, and loose change for twelve hours until dawn. His coworker saw the craft from a mile away. The Air Force investigated it. And when they went back to the site weeks later... someone had raked the forest floor clean. In 1973, two guys went fishing on a Mississippi river and came back with a story that ruined both their lives. They told the sheriff that three gray creatures with lobster claws floated them into a craft and scanned their bodies. The sheriff didn't believe them... so he secretly recorded them when he left the room. On the tape, one of them wept and begged God for help. The other said he was about to have a heart attack. 52 years later, that tape is still the most compelling piece of evidence in the case. Play Legend Of Zalk! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/legend-of-zalk/id6745826740 In Today's Spooky Skeletons Episode! In 1903, a small farming town in Iowa was terrorized for five straight nights by something nobody could explain... a nine foot tall winged creature with a blinding light coming from its forehead, a stench that could drop a grown man, and three toed feet that left prints in the dirt. Multiple residents shot at it. Nothing happened. It retreated into an abandoned coal mine with a smaller one... and the townspeople sealed them in. Then the story disappeared for over a century. The mine is still sealed.PS If an asphalt guy shows up at your house without prompt, call the non emergency line. Do not let him pave your driveway.
