welcome to khxlid.mp3 worst podcast 🎉

Welcome to the Worst Podcast, the podcast where nothing is planned, everything is random, and somehow, we always have something to say. If you’re new here, I’m Khalid aka Brooks, and this is my little corner of the internet where I talk about life, friendships, heartbreaks, embarrassing moments, random thoughts, personal experiences, and whatever else decides to cross my mind. Sometimes it’s deep. Sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes I genuinely don’t know what I’m talking about. And sometimes, I bring my friends along so we can make absolutely no sense together. This podcast was never about being perfect. It’s about being yourself, saying what you feel, laughing at the stupid things, and making something out of nothing. So whether you’ve been here since episode one or you’ve just stumbled across this little disaster, welcome. You’re part of the family now. Press play, get comfortable, and welcome to the Worst Podcast.

their opinion is not your problem

people are going to have opinions about you. no matter what you do, someone will judge, misunderstand, criticize, or simply not like you. in this episode, i talk about learning to separate genuine feedback from unnecessary noise, accepting that you can't control how people see you, and realizing that you don't need everyone's approval to live your life. it's not about becoming someone who doesn't care what anyone thinks. it's about knowing whose opinions deserve a place in your head and whose don't. their opinion belongs to them. your life belongs to you.

    be cringe

What if being “cringe” was never the problem? In this episode, I talk about growing up as the kid who got bullied for being cringe, learning to constantly censor myself, and eventually finding friends who made me feel comfortable being exactly who I am. Maybe being weird, loud, emotional, excited, or completely unserious isn’t something we need to grow out of. Maybe we just need people who let us be ourselves. So yeah… be cringe. Be weird. Have fun. Life is too short to spend it worrying about how you look to everyone else. Welcome to the cringe club.

    to ayan…❤️

this episode is for someone I’ve never actually met. ayan is someone who quietly supports my little corner of the internet, liking my random instagram stories, listening to my ridiculous podcast episodes, and showing up without ever asking for anything in return. and somehow, those tiny gestures have become one of the reasons I keep pressing record. this isn’t really an episode about friendship. It’s about appreciation. about how sometimes you can have an impact on someone’s life without even realizing it, and how something as simple as a like, a listen, or a little bit of encouragement can mean more than you think. so, Ayan… thank you for listening to my stupid little podcast. thank you for supporting my random shit. and thank you for being my unofficial number one listener. this one’s yours. ❤️

    maybe life after covid ?🦠

six years after covid… where did all that time go? in this episode, i take a look back at my life journey since leaving high school, the changes, experiences, lessons, highs, lows, the things that actually happened, and how all of it has shaped who I am today. and obviously i couldn’t stay serious for too long 😂. somewhere along the way, i started yapping about random stories, memories, experiences, and whatever else came to mind. So yeah… a little reflection, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of random nonsense.

from the shit to a fart?😭😂

life after the famous period… what could possibly go wrong? 😂 in episode 04, we catch up on how life has been, give a massive shoutout to Ayan for sponsoring the legendary 24KGrizzly failed meet & greet, show some love and support to the women fighting endometriosis and PCOS, talk about the growing awareness around “Nairoberry” (robbery in Nairobi) and somehow end up talking about a bunch of completely random stuff.

    be careful who you become

who you spend your time with might be one of the most important decisions you ever make. in this solo episode, i talk about how the people around us can influence our mindset, habits, ambitions, standards, and even the person we eventually become.

dealing with heartbreaks + other yappy stories ft. 24kgrizzly

no therapy. no professional advice. just two people yapping and laughing for no reason. 😂 we started with heartbreaks… and obviously, we got completely off topic.

two guys, zero topic ft. 24kgrizzly

just two guys, one s**t microphone, and absolutely no idea where the conversation is going. sometimes we make sense. usually, we don’t. probably the worst podcast you’ll listen to, but you’ll probably keep listening anyway. 🎙️
