3: High Hair, Heart Attacks, Hospitals, and Hooves

We kick things off with a hilarious "car trouble" mishap courtesy of my sister, before diving into Mama’s incredibly accident-prone history and her legendary tall hair. We also look back at Daddy’s terrifying stubbornness when medical emergencies struck, proving that some men will truly do anything to avoid calling an ambulance. Finally, we investigate another Sistory Mystery: the stray pony that suddenly appeared in our yard, triggered a family-wide ownership battle, and then disappeared. Where did he come from? Where did he go? We may never know.

2: Dogs, Daddies, Doctors, and The Sugar Bowl Surprise

Lock up your designer handbags and hide the sugar, because this episode gets delightfully unhinged. We’re digging up our roots, starting with a chaotic timeline of our family dogs—including the day our sister used Mama’s brand-new designer purse as a silk-lined canine coffin. We also dive into a "Sistory Mystery" to expose the suspicious family cover-ups about where some of our pets actually went. Next, we look at Daddy's upbringing. Growing up rural, broke, and literally running moonshine as a kid meant his family had a strict "if you aren't actively on fire, you don't need a doctor" policy. He passed that exact survival mindset down to us, leaving us to navigate childhood on sheer luck and zero checkups. We also laugh at what happened years later when Mama ended up in the hospital, forcing our Trad Dad to fend for himself—an experiment in domestic survival that was certainly a learning experience. Finally, we share a legendary piece of family lore involving a cranky old relative, an empty sugar bowl, a massive huff, and a shocking, spite-fueled exit you won't see coming. In this episode, we cover: The Gucci Grave & a Sistory Mystery: High-fashion pet funerals and suspicious pet disappearances.Rub Dirt On It: Reliving a childhood where medical care was an extreme-emergency-only situation.Home Alone (Dad Version): The domestic chaos that unfolded when Mama was in the hospital and Daddy tried to run the household. The Sugar Bowl Incident: A masterclass in weaponized pettiness and the ultimate family mic-drop ending.
